I like the idea of getting as many playmakers as possible so we can truly give JA every opportunity to reach his potential. It's imperative for the org to know one way or another if he is THE guy moving forward. You don't want to be stuck in the middle area.

I looked up his ST snap count. He had 340 snaps on ST last year.
In 2019 Stafford led the Bills with 297.
His ST snap % was 79% which means he play all ST plays except XP and FG attempts.
Looks like he will be the ST Captain in 2020.
What will happen to DiMarco? LOL
I think we let go of DiMarco and bring in someone else who provides a bit more athleticism at the position and can be a weapon in the passing game.

Did Waddle resign?
I can't find that new anywhere.....he signed a 1 yr deal last year.
That was my mistake. I thought he signed a 2 year deal last year.

Yes it does. but remember, you are allowed to dress 48 on game day now, as long as you dress a minimum of 8 OL. And with position flex guys like Long, Feliciano, Ford, injuries to our line are gonna be easily handled and still put forth a good product
Really good point!

A lot of players to get flipped for picks in 2021 before cuts. Don't forget Bates
Good point!

With his latest re-structure
New name linked to Bills
That would give us a LOT of interior linemen, no?
T - Dawkins, Waddle, Nsekhe, Ford
C - Morse
iOL - Spain, Feliciano, Long, Boettger, Van Roten, Bates

Definitely sad to see him go. I know it was inevitable, but I still didn't wanna see it happen. He had a great presence in this organization.
Agreed. I wish it worked out here, but that never seemed like an option.

Would it be far to say this is another sign McDermott/Beane/Dabol don't have very little faith in rookie receivers?
That would have also needed the Texans to want to trade with the Bills and within the AFC.
If they think the window truly is open right now, then you don't have time to wait for a rookie WR to get acclimated to the league. Not everyone can come in and be a Terry McLaurin or OBJ. Stefon Diggs walks in Day 1 as a proven guy who can help Allen get to the next level.

From Steelers fans:
- Never let him play LB
- Is incredible on special teams
- Slow but strong
Interested to see what the exact contract looks like, because it's up to $9M.

Like the idea of boosting our special teams but 4.5 million a year seems a little high for a player that has not played hardly at all on the defensive side of the ball.
It's 'up to' $9M, so it might be quite a bit lower.

Maybe a stupid question, but why can't we re sign Jordan Phillips? Shaq is gone so we're not paying him. I know he'll(Phillips) want alot of money, but seems like we could pay him fair and keep him. Haven't heard of any other teams having interest, yet
He could value himself at X while the Bills value him at Y, and since neither side seems willing to budge at this point, then Phillips is testing the FA waters to see what other teams are willing to pay him.

Josh Norman?
I did not include players who were cut and available to sign before FA started since people on here don't seem to be taking those players into consideration.

100%. As your quote said, the Bills now have the most cap space left of any team by a huge margin. We are great shape and should be able to get our guys without fear of being outbid. Aside from a couple deals (Hooper, Lawson, and Keenum who I would have been interested in but definitely got the Day 1 FA overpay), all the guys I was targeting are still there. Keep the faith!
Before FA, the 5 teams with the most cap space were:
- Miami Dolphins
- Buffalo Bills
- Indianapolis Colts
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- Cleveland Browns
I could be wrong, but it now looks like the 5 teams with the most cap space are:
- Buffalo Bills
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- New York Jets
- Los Angeles Chargers
- Houston Texans

2 top-tier CBs for Miami now. Both young, too (and expensive: $15M+ AAV and $17M AAV)

Browns are stacked.... it's hard to imagine them sucking as bad as they did last year.
Kitchens was a joke.
I don't know why, but it always seems like the Browns add at least one or two of the top players at their position in FA every year. Quite a bit different than how the Bills have operated.

I can't tell if people are actually upset about the lack of Bills signings so far.
So far there have been 8 signings. 5 teams have signed a player, meaning the Bills are 1 of 27 to not sign someone. Reeelaaaxxxx

All I know is I can't wait for 7pm to roll around - I've been looking at the clock all day.
I'd like to load up on offense as much as possible today. Surround Allen with talent and know definitively this season if he is THE guy.
