Let's compare Allen's excellent stats to the NFC offensive player of the week...
Mariota finished Sunday’s game 13-of-14 passing for 129 yards with two touchdowns, also adding six carries for 50 yards with a TD.
Less than 200 total yards. The NFC is laughably bad compared to the AFC.

I really don’t get the appeal of Cynthia Frelund. I don’t know exactly why, but every time I hear her predict something like “124 passing yards” instead of just saying 125 like every other person would say, it drives me nuts. It’s a prediction! Round to the nearest 5 yards and stop trying to sound like you can predict to the exact yard. Rant over.

What they don't bring up is that Allen has played 2 less quarters than Mahomes through five games due to the un. merciful. bludgeoning. of two of the teams they played this season.

So Allen has played 10% less than Mahomes and has scored 1 more TD (when you include rushing TDs).
