  1. This might be a stupid question, but are there any high tech, low weight knee braces that wouldn't hinder movement much?  I know most college O lineman wear knee braces to prevent injury, but you almost never see it in the NFL as a preventative measure.  It seems like someone should be able to create something to protect the knees of a $250 mil investment.  Would the fact that it makes even a very slight difference in performance dissuade everyone from using it?

OK so you think that was a offense that he should be fired for.  Who make that decision the small mob of angry villagers the company controlled by them?  Not much of a choice is there? You only have the illusion of free speech.  I say live and let live...no one is perfect

His employer will decide if he gets fired.  They can see the reaction to his asinine comments and decide if he is worth keeping.  Based on his approval rating prior to this issue, I don't think he is an essential employee.

This has absolutely zero to do with "free speech".  why do people that use this as an excuse for ignorant, offensive rhetoric have such a hard time grasping the concept that there are still consequences for things that you say.  Unless the government is going after Jerry, his free speech is still intact.

I’ve always liked him. His approach was sometimes antagonistic but it seemed to create balance and well-rounded conversation in the grand scheme.

This is the least surprising thing I have read all year.  I could see the two of you hanging out at a bar whining incessantly about the Bills for hours!

Then it's chalk full of - Coach, why didn't you use a timeout there, what was the thinking on the 3rd-2, why didn't you take the Field Goal there, Josh what were you seeing on this play?

Maybe some Chalk Full o' Nuts coffee would give them the energy to ask the hard hitting questions?  For all in tents and purposes the media sessions are uninformative.

I was at this game -a real nail biter! When the Bills broke the huddle, I immediately recognized Lofton had single coverage and yelled it out. “Find James, Jimmy! Find James!’ I yelled! Sure enough, Kelly saw it and heaved the ball down the sideline. Everyone in my area was up on their feet when Kelly looked that way and Lofton made a fantastic catch, grabbing the ball by the back end of the football. From that moment on til I moved to Florida, I was known as ‘Coach’ in my section🤣

James Lofton was so smooth.  He didn't even look like he was running fast.  It looked effortless.

Big decision coming for the Bills to make with Von going forward.  They can’t afford to carry that cap hit next year when it looks like he’s going to miss majority of the 2023 season

What do you suggest they do?  How would you avoid carrying the cap hit?  If he is cut, I believe the cap hit goes from $18 mil to $40 mil.

I mean your more than welcome to address what Cosell said. What did he say that you think is inaccurate? And why? Those are his words not mine.

Cossell said "Folks it's time to wake up and see the Bills team for what it is. They aren't winning out or winning a Super Bowl. "?  Or was that one of your typical downer comments that we are all so sick of seeing?

Since your a big " homer" I thought I'd share this with you. A little reality check.  Have you ever heard Greg Cosell? He is a very respected football analyst. Here is what he's recently said:

We’ve become so enamored with Allen as a talent…they don’t have a good OL…they have one good receiver and a bunch of other guys…this is not a super talented offense.”

@GregCosell not pulling any punches discussing what he sees from the Bills offense.

Folks it's time to wake up and see the Bills team for what it is. They aren't winning out or winning a Super Bowl.

Thankfully, there are only a couple other posters whose opinions mean less to me.  Otherwise this might be depressing.

Very original topic, I hadn't thought about it.

He stinks. He's not a starting WR. The time to address it was the off-season. They didnt. There's nothing we can do now other than hope they start playing Shakir more.

Signing Crowder doesn't count as addressing it in the off-season?  They probably should have been able to predict that he would break his leg.

For those who care (probably no one), I did NOT watch the game live. I went and ran errands that needed to get done during the game. Looking forward to watching the replay.

    Nobody cares.

Oh I agree, but despite all that happened in each game, it also came down to something as simple as a missed FG in Miami (not to mention a fumbled FG snap at end of half by backup snapper), and missed FG against Jets, and a fumbled snap by Allen.  Each of those games, despite any other issues those games, could have been won if not for those single plays.

My main point was just that it was offensive issues that cost us those games, not Tre White not playing.

None of that had anything to do with Tre is the point.

We had chances to win all 3 games, and basically had won the Vikings game, but the offense lost us all 3.

Justin Jefferson - 10 receptions for 193 yards.

This reminds me of a good friend who went through high school  and college with me.

He was not good enough to play football at the college level, but he was naturally a big guy.

He was 6"5" and came in at like 285.  He was lifting weights in college just to see if he could get up to 300 LBs, b/c he thought it would be  cool if he got to 300 lbs.

One day at college, a cold winter climate, I saw him walking into the building wearing a t-shirt.

It was probably like 35 degrees out.  I and everyone around us were bundled up with winter coats, hats, gloves, scarves, whatever...it was winter.

I asked him why the hell he was in a t-shirt and he said "I love weather like this; this is the only time of year when I'm not hot and sweaty all the time."

And indeed, he basically didn't wear a coat during the winter.

I guess it's different for these really big guys.

Anyone else here that big and who doesn't wear a coat when it's cold out?

Are you sure that was your friend and not a totally different player?  We know how easily confused you get.

  13. I think Brown adds an element of toughness and edge to the offense when he is out there.  Maybe that is not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but he is almost like the enforcer for the offense.  A Rob Ray of sorts.  Not the highest profile or most skilled guy on the field, but he might rip an opponent's head off without hesitation if they take any cheap shots.

I still get a laugh out of this clip!

I did find it odd that the Bills official email sent this out to fans the other week, a sponsored ad for battery operated clothing, while their weekly "What You Need to Know for Game Day" email always specifically says these items are prohibited.

    • Battery operated clothing (socks, jackets, etc.) are prohibited.

I think batteries have been banned since the Bryan Cox days when they were used as projectiles!
