and thats from what because in that interview on Access he talked about playing FS and staying at one position instead of moving around like he has in years past -

really? then why was Whitner on NFL total access recently talking about moving to free safety to get in position to make more plays and be a ball hawk? and you're basing your thoughts on what? that you think you know what you're talking about -

Jarius Byrd was picked at the top of the second round, since when is that considered a later round? I dont get the pick of Jarius Byrd if the plan all along was to move Whitner to free safety as we have been led to believe...why would you use a high second round pick on a CB that you plan on converting to FS when you already plan on moving your high salaried SS to FS, makes no sense....I understand depth but you dont draft for depth in the high second round especially when there were numerous other players on the board that could help the Bills this year Jarius Byrd doesnt have a chance to start as long as Whitner is with the Bills and playing FS -
an injured second year player that will most likely start the year on the PUP list and might even end up on injured reserve coming off a rookie season where he didnt do anything to improve his value has very little if any trade value right now

How much time do fans have to see the Bills in the playoffs again?

wasnt last year a make or break year for Jauron as well? People need to get used to the idea of Jauron as head coach because as long as the Bills are even remotely competitive he isnt going anywhere after this year either -
I am sick of hearing about how our coaching sucks....

if i remember correctly DJ is now getting 2 mil a year after signing his extension...which is the real reason why he is still head coach of the Bills, not because he comes cheap but because he just signed an extension and Ralph would rather keep him then fire him and have to pay him for the next 3 years 8 seasons as an NFL head coach...one winning season and no playoff wins -
Worried about the O-line? Read this article
Max997 replied to toddgurley's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
you're assuming DJ will give them enough playing time during the preseason to gain that experience and for the line to work together which is something he has not done in the past the article about the rookies not lining up as starters is absolutely meaningless, it was written in freakin June...if they're not starting the 3rd preseason game then its something to worry about but not lining up as starters before training camp even begins doesnt mean a thing -
we've heard similar claims the past two years that the offense was going to do this and that next season but in reality when it came to crunch time the offense looked and the playcalling was exactly the same as it was the year before

with the exception of April this is one of the worst coaching staffs Ive ever seen...DJ is too soft on his players during training camp and practice and it shows on the field...i dont get how a guy who has had one winning season in 8 as an NFL head coach can still be a head coach in the NFL the play calling on both sides of the ball is predictable and the game plan seems to be the same every week no matter who they are playing...the defensive system counts on the offense not being able to put long drives together which might work against bad teams but doesnt against good teams like the Pats or Colts....the love affair with CBs doesnt make sense when they insist on playing their corners 10-12 yards off the line of scrimmage just giving the offense the quick slants and 10 yard stop patterns the offensive playcalling reminds me of Rich Kotite, no real system, just a guy calling plays with no creativity to get guys open...the team refuses to work the middle down the field, everything is either within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage or to the outside Maybin is a HUGE risk and teams like the Bills that havent made the playoffs in 10 years cant afford to draft a player like that it doesnt make sense to draft a CB high in the second round that they plan on moving to FS when Whitner has come out and said that he is be moving to FS as well...I understand the need for depth but if they didnt draft Byrd to be a starter this year or next why the hell did they draft him when there were numerous other players on the board that could help the Bills this year -
I was just going to post that after looking up his stats Toretta won a national title, a heisman and was 26 - 1 as a starter at Miami Tebows game does not translate to the NFL

he just wins.....IN COLLEGE!

no he didnt

bankruptcy is a joke
-
their new head coach has just destroyed that team...he'll be lucky to last more then one year
-
it would be but i said they should have drafted Ngata and Mangold before each pick was made
-
they could have drafted Ngata and Mangold instead of Whitner and McCargo in the first round a few years ago

Marchibroda was the man and the KGun was never the same after he left the Bills ran a more faced paced version then the Bengals or the Colts
-
one of the things the Colts did was imploy TE's that they also line up as WRs depening on the defensive package. If the defense is in a nickel the Colts line the TE on the line of scrimmage and run and if the defense lines up in a standard defense they line the TE up as a WR creating mismtaches based on personal...they do this throughout the game and not just for a few plays the Colts also line up at the line of scrimmage and have 3 plays sent in with Peyton deciding which one to run after reading the defense
-
couldnt disagree more with that statement...did you even watch Jim Kelly play
-
they're right, the Bills didnt invent it and Peyton and the Colts have taken it to another level whats the problem

Could SB victory keep Bills in Buffalo?
Max997 replied to offde-fence's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the Bills are not going anywhere -
having depth at one positon when it cost you at others doesnt make it right and it wont matter how many corners they have if they cant stop the run or get consistent pressure on the QB
