  1. Yeh, I know, I was a little confused by the previous response. Keating 5 was what came to mind first.
  2. It was around in North Buffalo in 1980, ran into a friend from grammar school on it one day, when visiting my old hood near the Zoo. Graduated in 82, hardest drugs hearing about near the University were Acid and PCP, but the local rage now in High School is snorting H. Especially around NYC. They make it cheap now and a lot more pure from what parents dealing with it are telling me. Scares the crap out of me. I have a 4 year old and a 21 month old and don't even begin to have a clue on dealing with it when they get to that age.
  3. What are saying JMAC is on the down low?
  4. Jeez, that is the new designer drug in high school know. Beer and pot were the big thing when I went threw. H was around but not like this.
  5. I linked from the Washington Post but one never knows and I understand your concern
  6. E.J. Dionne of the Washington Post today quoting Charlie Cook of the Cook Report and Roll Call, a capitol hill rag. Charlie Cook, the great political analyst, passed this along today: He spoke with someone who described going through three interviews before getting a job at Ruby Tuesday’s. If you generously construe the record, that’s one more discussion than McCain had with Palin. Maybe Ruby Tuesday’s should have done McCain’s vetting for him.
  7. There were rumors that the log cabin Republican crowd would be outed, but really! http://www.gayrepublicancards.com/cards.html The Village Voice was serious.
  8. Whatever, just a point that it is a non-sequitor resume place holder that the GOP claims actually means something about how effective they may govern.
  9. So are the Dutch, what is your point.
  10. Thank, actually appreciated your response. Not the usual sarcastic drivel you shoot back. Thanks
  11. She is deep if the Enquirer is on her heels... Oh this is going to get much worse before it gets better. Good chance we will know how she likes and if she sings like lassie before this all done. Don't let you kids watch the news or read a newspaper anytime soon. Teenagers are exempt from this prohibition. They may be explaining to some of these sex terms to their RW parents.
  12. You are having too much fun with these recent topics. I haven't had just deep chuckles in a while from each your successive posts today. Noice!
  13. So did GW Bush and look where that got us.
  14. Some business owner?! Another Republican talking point discredited.
  15. Someone just used "screwed the pooch" on another post... actually funny, just not sure how far I should go with that one though.
  16. "To be honest" "I would assume that'.... And there is the old Capitol Hill KVIM... Thank you for expressing your concerns about....issue. I will be sure to keep your views in mind should this issue be considered by Congress and the White House in the coming months.
  17. Except the male evangelicals may oppose her because of the child out of wedlock thing.
  18. The other one is "At the End of the Day".... followed by some idiotic conclusion or fake words of wisdom.
  19. No, she still needs to go to Iraq and Afghanistan and watch out for those snipers from Bosnia.
  20. Hmm, a deadbeat dad, now that is rich if it turns out to be true.
  21. We begin invading Russia January 21. Just a McCain snap judgment. Palin is fully behind her President having some knowledge of Russia as governor of AK, (sarcasm)
  22. I am sure it involved way more than 8,000 people in a town like Chicago. He was/is a lawyer, as much as you like to denigrate the profession, it takes quite a commitment to become one, organizational ability and intelligence and knowledge of the law. Hmmm, what is a better qualification for President???? In fact, over half of our Presidents were lawyers, starting with John Adams and including Abraham Lincoln and Bill Clinton. A number of others took law classes but did not finish including Teddy Roosevelt. http://www.abavideonews.org/ABA296/resouce3.htm
  23. What I wonder is how the really religious right wing will feel about her daughter's pregnancy. I know some folk who won't be happy about it at all, would and in one instance have kicked their daughter out of the house and demanded that she get married right away. The old shot gun wedding approach. Not saying it is right, but I know folks with that type of mentality.
  24. This is at least a legit thing to investigate. It goes to the heart of whether she is willing to uphold the Constitution.
