my roommate is from pittsburgh. He is definitely more of a pens fan then steelers. And I would agree that that is more the norm these days. I also have met several people from Buffalo here at Penn State and they are also more Sabres fans then Bills fans. Hockey is getting a young crowd involved these days. Its about time.

Without anyone really talking about it, Mitchell has been playing out of his mind. He was all of the field tonight and has been for weeks now. He made THE two plays to beat San Diego. Tonight he was knocking down Quinn all night long. I cant wait for him to become the leader of this defense. Whitner is in there now and I know hes a great leader. But he doesn't have the swagger and veteran experience Mitchell brings to the table. When he takes over, we will see this kind of performance and better on a consistent basis from this defense.

I was just wondering what type of blocking scheme were running. I remember hearing that we had a zone blocking thing going but that with a huge line we were more apt to play man blocking. Are the Bills still using teh wrong type of blocking and do you think it will change during the bye considering there have been maybe two holes for lynch and jackson all year?

dude schobel is an elite DE. He made it to the probowler twice (once as an alternate but played i believe). He doesnt get the most production because he has to play alot of minutes and takes alot of double teams and gets little help from teh rest of the line except maybe mcargo on occasion. I think Stroud will be a big help if all he does is take double teams on every play and does nothing else. I would still think hes a huge help. And that will hopefully make the rest of our D look better with three what i think are excellent LBs with a lot of very capable depth, and a young but very athletic and what seems intelligent secondary. But i am every the optimist, so what do i know?

lee has not proven himself to be the caliber played to deserve that much money. I think if at half way through the season hes on probowl pace, He'll get his money and extension. If not, he may not see the money. Either way, I think he incs an extension before the end of the season.
