i could see A-Train used as the smaller, more shifty back, and maybe Hunt as the power back to hammer through the lines. we also have the Fred Jackson guy who might be an unexpected highlight if he comes into his own.

or trade down, get LB in Shaw or Posluzny in late 1st, get an extra 2nd, then take care of RB, CB, then 3rd, DT, CB, and so on.

i would like branch more than okoye just because hes not potential, but someone that can make an impact now. but i dont know if moving up is something we really want to do, just that we could trade down and get an LB who could do well to stop the run, then get a DT later in the draft or next year.

honestly, there is too much talent at LB in the draft this year. there are at least three absolute playmakers waiting to explode in the NFL. Marv knows this. i think RB and DB will be adressed in FA. Then the 1st rounder goes to LB and second to RB. 3rds go to CB and DT. way too much talent at LB to pass up. Of course, he could always do both, but dont expect a big time player to come in as a FA. We dont have the money.

i agree that people are writing off yuboty and mcgargo. but you may not be taking all the holes into consideration. for starting positions, yes there are only a few, but we need depth. we only have 3 safties now that Bowen has been cut. K Thomas may be on his way out so that would give us one less CB which is already a question mark. we need RB, FB, a big DT, LB, CB, S, and probably something else i cant think of... so there are quite a few holes needing to be filled.

is either okoye or willis going to fall to number 12. if they don't i think you trade down and take either Pos. or Shaw ( i think thats his name, the other PSU LB) and get another 2nd rounder.

thats like asking why they got tripplet. cause hes good and they needed players! i didnt say you dont need a 3 technique dt because that is also vital to get solid pressure on the qb. but it is also important to have a big, 1 gap dt. thats why they drafted Mcargo.

i think the reason people hated him so much was because he thought he was like the greatest back ever or something. he was what he was, an average back with a bad attitude. and he should have been here in the off season, or at least studying the play book. but i agree, the kid thing is like what ever

i dont know why you didnt like goin on the defensive side of the ball, well i can, cause of our stagnant o, but we can still see the d needed and needs improvement. and i also think that the reason he promised not to use the franchise was for the other players. players hate that thing and marv wanted to show the other players on the team that he has their interest at heart, he cares and wants to have a team with a great environment. other than that i totally agree. i think he is the man to revive this team and i also expect a playoff appearance.
