  1. Good post up until the asking for a #1 came up. There is no team in the that will give us a #1 for EM or a #2 for that matter. The problem is EM wants to go to a contender. He wont play for a mediocre team, he feels he has earned the right to play for a SB, which is going to make negotiating with other teams that are successful tougher. They will be the ones to hold the cards knowing how bad EM wants out and that the Bills want that salary off the books, no matter what people say trimming his salary is goal #1, if they really wanted EM they would pay him. We all know how frugal the brain trust is.I like your post and I see where you make the point about Price and Henry, but look what happened to Price when he went to ATL. He thrived in our system because of EM he had one good year and banked on it, good for him.Had this been 2 or 3 years ago I would agree with you he is worthy of a #1. I mean T.O. was traded for a #2, EM isnt in that league anymore.
  2. Agree, Mcargo has some talent but he played behind a very good LB crew also. He has good size and is an ox, but not worth a first round grade.
  3. Brick, for the third time in this thread.
  4. I am not disagreeing with you, I know its not feasable to have the #1 overall it was a speculation thing but if we did get the pick knowing our glaring needs you wouldnt take the Brick #1 overall. It would be very hard not to pull that trigger. A guy like him comes along once every ten years.
  5. I like the thought of JW at the 2 slot. If we can get that much speed at reciever we can be real tough to put 8 guys in the box on. If we are able to spread the field like Fairchild did in St. Louis than we have as good a chance as anyone. But it all comes to the lines and how they maintain.
  6. Walker was asking for a big payday before the injury which makes me worried on both sides. There is no doubt that walker is talented but coming off that injury who knows how he will be.If GB gave us Walker and their 3rd or 4th for Eric and our 5th than I would say pull the trigger. They both want out and Walker has alot more upside than Moulds. Syanara EM, thanks for the memories.
  7. Why not, we have a great running, lets get a tackle that we dont have to worry about for the next 12 years. Lets actually put someone there to solidify a spot.Instead of plug and go, we are not the Pats, obviously lets get a top tackle and build around him.
  8. Ya I know just tossin a penny in the well, hey its worth a shot right
  9. Cleveland signed Washington and Mcginest two guys at the end of their ropes. Sorry fella but Cleveland is a long way from being competative. We are a in a rebuilding mode face it guys, if we win 8 games be happy, I am happy with what the franchise is doping and getting these young guys could benefit us in the end. or we can shell out an ass load of money get 2 high priced names and still complain about how we only won 6 games. The only person in my opinion who was worth the money he got was Hutch. and there is no way the frugal brain trust spend that kind of dough. Everyone wants to win now thats the idea, but man lets bite the bullet and get back in the early 90's. Lets give Marv the chance to hang himself, we owe the guy that much.GO BILLS
  10. What did you want me to complain about Marv and the off. line or actually have something else to say. Or I can just bash the bills like 50% of the posters due.
  11. Alright kids, if Houston is the front runner for Erics' services. Would it be out of the realm of possibility that we trade our 8th, our second rounder and Eric for the #1 overall. and maybe a comp. pick for next years draft maybe a 3rd or something.I doubt it but just throwin it out there. Would like some feed back.GO BILLS!FINS SUCK!MARINO SHOULD ROT IN HELL AND DIE OF GONAREA or however you spell it.
  12. Whatever you are smoking send me some, here let me help you off the floor it seems you fell offt his rocking chair. Davis and Williams are the best players in the draft, Lewis stock dropped big time at the end of the year and at the combine, very mediocre numbers. is not a hard worker.Hardwork=character.
  13. If getting a hummer is wrong, then my friends I dont want to be right.
  14. Miami may be making some good moves but here me out. DC tore the big three right, Willis tore the big three right. Difference is Willis was 21 years old without a prior injury and physically more gifted, DC has been taking a beating on artificial turf for the better part of 5 years. Willis is a freak of nature, anyone who has ever had that type of injury and is able to squat and jog 4 months later is remarkable. DC will not be the same QB he was. Although he is worth a shot for a second round pick, I dont believe he will be that factor he once was. Also no more RW in miami Brown is going to have to carry the load and whos the new back up, ohh thats right Travis Minor. There defense is getting older and are not as dominant s they once were. DC will not see the field until at least OCT. Or NOV. thats a nasty injury especially with the weight DC carries. Having had 2 ACL surgeries myself I know how hard it is to even trust your knee, let alone play football.
  15. Chris Cooley is an H-back, he is more of a slot receiver than a tight end.
  16. I like the idea of getting out of our slot, unless Williams, Hawk or Brick is there. We all know they wont be there. So if we trade with Denver grab Bunkley and maybe a Jennings or if Chad Jackson is there I would take him. We need a second play maker and Davis aint it.But drafting Gilles or a LT would make the most sense. I for one am not sold on Ngata, im sure he has some talent but would be better off with Bunkley. GOBILLS/MIAMIBLOWS/DAN MARINO SHOULD ROT IN HELL AND DIE OF GOHNAREA.
  17. How about this, why wouldn't Tennessee trade their pick and maybe a second and third with Houston so they can draft Bush, lets be honest Chris "the concussion" Brown is not he answer.Plus Henry cant stay clean. They need a back big time.As for the Bills trade down, trade down, trade down. We need as many picks as possible. Lets bite the bullet and rebuild.
  18. He also enjoyed smokin the dope, ala Ricky W. What is it with the Vikings. SEX, DRUGS AND BOATS?
  19. Tripplett is not on the same level or even in the ballpark with Harris, also who heard of Ngata before he decided to make himself draft eligable.Maybe because I live on the east coast and cant catch Oregon games but its easy to find a 350+ pounder, its alot harder to find an athlete that can get to the QB. Why not draft some fat slob and keep feeding him til he becomes a 2 gap guy.Ngate would be a great fit if we were a 3-4 team but we are not. The cover 2 is built on speed. And we need guys who can play the run and the pass.By the way Corey Simon, Darnell Dockett, and Travis Johnson were worthy #1 from FSU. As far as Ngata in high school obviously there are players that dominate. I played against and with Antonio Bryant, Nate Webster,Andre Johnson,Dan Morgan and a bunch of others. So high school isnt a barometer to match talent with the NFL.
  20. First of all say what you want its your opinion so you dont bother me. Secondly, Ngata simply isnt the guy for the system.Plain and simple. I think our line would be better of with a guy like Bunkley. I have been able to watch all the noles games and he was a factor in everyone. He is a force in the middle.
