I think thats the point. If Peterson can do it why not TKO. The same physical make up and any one he saw TKO's rehab regimand knows he has the abilty ot get back to form. But saying he is old and doesnt have that first step is jumping the gun on him. If he does not produce the way he used then I say release him, he only counts for 2.8 mil against the cap.

I am not trying to break balls just stating what I see. Peterson did have a great year after his injury and goes to show you that being a workout warrior can help in recovering from serious injury.

You honestly think with another year of rehab and lifting that he wont be back to near 100%. The hardest part is getting back on the field and trusting the injury, he has already proved thats not a problem. Now he can actually go full bore in workouts.

My guess is you never had to rehab anything or you would not be making this post. The guy is an unbelievable athlete and will be even better with another year to strength train and proper rehab. Just getting over the mental part of such an excrutiating injury takes a massive toll on the body.

Some of you are unbelievable. How will this team be worse? Because we wont re-sign an aging Fletcher. Marv said that they are putting together a very attractive offer to NC. Do you want him to come out and say we are offering NC 6yrs at 65 mil with a 20mil signing bonus. Or did you want Marv to tell you all about the free agents he is interested in grabbing. He stated we need to get better at guard and more aggressive at LB. Thats was pretty cut and dry. Would you all be happy if he gave away the whole off season strategy and said we are keeping the guys we have and thats that. With the LB's in New England getting old my guess is that they will take a stab at him. I agree I would rather have Briggs in there than Thomas. Adalius Thomas is not going to happen. He is a 3-4 LB, not suited for the cover 2. Unless we are switching our defensive approach and no one told us.
