  1. Don't even start? Whatever. The point was that while JP did not play a good game by any stretch of the word, the entire offense came out and laid another egg and generally looked unprepared and unmotivated. As the head coach, the buck stops with Dick. PERIOD. Fact is that a guy who is destined to be a career backup came in and ran the offense as efficiently as the Bills' "QB of the Future" did last week, and that Dick's team -- NOT JP's -- has pissed away a 4-0 start and is staring at yet another losing campaign.
  2. Well if you add in Jackson's carries, that takes them to....um, wait...13. Damn.
  3. Yep. Just like in Chicago, right?
  4. Yep. Dick just has had a run of bad luck. Lots and lots of it. If not for the bad luck he'd be just as good a coach as Belicheat. Don't forget JP's bad QB play when Dick was with Chicago.
  5. Second verse, same as the first....
  6. Bill from NYC probably blew a gasket when he read that.
  7. Oh, was that the debate we were having? Alabama QB's? I thought it was about Tebow and Florida's "system" QB's. He's a fantastic college QB in a gimmicky system. He might turn into a good pro QB if, as The Dean pointed out, he isn't rushed and goes to a team with the right situation. I don't think he's a very good passer, despite his gaudy numbers, and I think his poor throwing mechanics and lack of accuracy will be his Achilles' heel in the NFL. He is a very good runner, but a good portion of that is because he is bigger than a lot of the defenders he faces and he moves well for a big guy. He won't be running over many LB's and DL's in the NFL, and while he's pretty fast for his size, everyone he faces in the NFL will be much closer in terms of speed than what he's seen in the SEC.
  8. I saw the Dolphins coach pump his arm, run over and celebrate with his team after big stops on D and after making field goals. Does Dick know that he is allowed to show emotion and get his guys fired up?
  9. "We're under .500 for the first time this year, and it's disappointing." Disappointing?? DISAPPOINTING?? Losing an exhibition game is disappointing. Having someone not voted as a starter in the pro bowl is disappointing. Pissing away a 4-0 start to the point that you are all but eliminated from playoff contention is not disappointing. It's a damn travesty.
  10. Lynch 13 carries for 30 yards is what stopped them from running the ball. And our offensive line SUCKS today.
  11. Losman is now the Bills leading rusher with 4 carries for 38 yards. Pathetic.
  12. Come on. You've got to know where the sticks are and run the pattern to the first-down marker.
  13. Tripping on Lynch. me.
  14. Keep it close and hope we get lucky on a long-ass field goal late in the game.
  15. Didn't take long for Porter to realize and make Chambers his B word, did it?
  16. Lynch - 13 carries for 30 yards. Dick Jauron - "We like the direction this team is going in?" you!
  17. Bullschitt. Bull schitt. You call the fade to the big guy - you never call a fade/jump ball to a 5-10 receiver. It wasn't a good throw by any means, but you don't even call it to go to Evans there. Gannon just said exactly the same thing.
  18. That's it. That's I'm officially done with this coaching staff. Continually trying to outsmart themselves in the red zone. ing idiots. Stay in ing Toronto, Dick.
  19. Biggest one on that list, IMO.
  20. Yep. Mental mistakes, unable to move the ball on the ground, drops, and a few inaccurate throws from the QB add up to a mess on the offensive side of the ball. Defense is meh - they've made some nice plays, but there seems to be (again) too much time for Pennington to throw, too many wide-open receivers, and a frustrating inability to get off the field on third down.
  21. And there's the jinx. Thanks a lot, Sen... True. I keep looking for these "excuses" but all I see is objective statements about the team (weak defensively = true; plays like dogs against NE = true) but I guess if you hate someone enough you could call those excuses...
  22. ^^What he said.^^
  23. Fisher says Auburn hasn't contacted him at all, and since he signed that deal as "head coach-in-waiting" he would owe FSU $5M if he left before 2010. LINK
  24. All that hate's gonna burn you up, kid.
