  1. Is it me, or does JP look like Adam Sandler there? With his cross eyed look and all. Sorry for the unintelligent reply.
  2. Nall is our Billy V just in 2006. He has the same stats and invisibilty as BV. But now he's stuck behind another "Saviour". Don't feel sorry for us, feel sorry for him. But only slightly sorry.
  3. Can't we just draft Charlie Weiss and give up the rest of the draft?
  4. Makes a lot of sense since Mike Mularkey is down there. He needs his "trick pony" to make everyone believe that he is quite the coach (ie. Slash and Randle El). He sure pulled the wool over our eyes. Shudder to remember....
  5. Drafting DB has always been a plan with Marv & Co. Just look at their history together. I think it started with Jeff Burris, then Henry Jones, etc... It worked in the past, why not try it again? We only have another 3 years to burn. So far the draft did fill some big needs. Now the OL!
  6. I heard this too. The local sports channel, Comcast Sportsnet, reported that the Eagles are interested in trading up. The most likely target would be the Bills. I would think that if they moved up there, it would be for Winston Justice though, not Bunkley.
  7. Don't trade until draft day. There is still a chance, a very slim chance that D'Brick will be there. If he and Davis are gone, then drop back.
  8. UNBelievable game! Esche was awesome, but Buffalo showed their incredible grit!
  9. Bills Draft history since 1991: 2001 21(21) NATE CLEMENTS CB OHIO STATE 2000 26(26) ERIK FLOWERS DE ARIZONA STATE 1999 23(23) ANTOINE WINFIELD DB OHIO STATE 1997 23(23) ANTOWAIN SMITH RB HOUSTON 1996 24(24) ERIC MOULDS WR MISSISSIPPI STATE 1995 14(14) RUBEN BROWN OG PITTSBURGH 1994 27(27) JEFF BURRIS DB NOTRE DAME 1993 28(28) THOMAS SMITH DB NORTH CAROLINA 1992 27(27) JOHN FINA OT ARIZONA 1991 26(26) HENRY JONES When did Polian and Levy leave? Look at all the DB, or OL. I think our picks are already made.
  10. You certainly may have something. In the Marv and Polian era, they were big on getting shut down corners in the first round. If Huff can project to CB, he or Williams could be a Buffalo Bill.
  11. I'm praying for mario williams. Sounds like he could be a game breaker. Please fall to us! The NFL has to make it happen. For the underdogs. You see, it's ultimately good for the league.
  12. Why no love for vince young? I don't get it. Didn't anyone watch the national championship game? Wasn't that enough? He was like a man among boys. Unbelievable athleticism. At worst, he would be a half back? Then again, he could turn out to be a dud. Alas, such is the NFL draft.
  13. Or maybe if Vince Young drops to us at 8.
  14. I totally agree. I don't understand why so many rumors are flying about giving up on this guy. I thought he had comparisons with Brett Farve, due to his "gunslinging mentality". He has quite an arm, and has tremendous athleticism. At the beginning of last preseason, I remember the coaches saying that he commanded the huddle. Is everyone worried about another RJ because of his California look and demeanor? There were times last year when he looked incredible. But, he was a rookie last year, for the most part. Who would give up on someone already?
  15. 6th round is better than nothing. Let's face it, everyone else has the upper hand. EM has a crappy contract for us this year. He doesn't want to restructure. He has a $1Million bonus due in July. The longer he sits here, the worse we need to get rid of him. They all know it. The only thing the Bills could possibly do is what the Eagles did with TO, and suspend him without pay for up to 4 weeks. But unfortunately, that's all that's left. (Me thinks)
  16. OUCH! Better be careful. If she's willing to get married on Draft day, you better make sure that she'll at least concede your football Sundays and Monday nights. Otherwise, she may take them away as well. Have her sign a contract giving you your Sundays and MNF. That being said, if she's good in other areas, maybe it's worth giving up everything..
  17. I can't believe that Moulds was a real problem with the team. He's been here 9 years, and all of a sudden, he's a problem? I think MM just really mismanaged the team to the point that they stopped playing for him. Mike Williams was really coming into his own a year ago, then last year, he had real problems. Sam Adams loved Buffalo, and was a big reason for the #1 defense the year before last, then all of a sudden he gets benched. Eric Moulds, who has been a class act for the Buffalo Bills for the last 9 years, and all of a sudden he is a problem? Give me a break. The coaching staff really screwed up the Bills last year. Unfortunately, Eric took it quite personally, and with good reason I might add. I still don't think he's worth that kind of money, but I don't believe it's a character issue.
  18. That would make the most sense for him, unless he wants a really big pay cut. I don't think anyone out there would take him with the contract that he currently has. Yes, he is dependable. But he has lost a step, and the comparisons to TO are pretty ridiculous. He is, and has been a great WR for us, but he is nowhere close to the league of TO. If he is released, he will have to take a pretty serious paycut, IMHO.
  19. Hopefully the Bills got something great here. Sounds like another Billy Volek who hasn't had the chance to show his stuff here. Didn't realize how many connections he has on the Bills. "Nall, who also said he is looking forward to being reuinited with former LSU teammates, wide receiver Josh Reed and tight end Robert Royal, along with former NSU teammate, cornerback Terrence McGee. Also, Tyke Tolbert, the wide receivers coach, and Charlie Coiner, the tight ends coach, were assistants at LSU when Nall was there."
  20. The Bills are a team in transition. A team of the future. They should draft the best available player period. San Diego did that with Brees and then with Rivers. ONe of them was bound to be good. The Bills did it with TH and then Magahee. Draft the best player. They can't go wrong.
  21. Must not be that big of a deal for Marv. He got us to 4 Super Bowls with Mark Kelso. NOthing against him, but he's not an all pro either. Just smart and adequate. Hopefully Bowen will fit that style.
  22. Is that the Kenny Smith that dominated the Orange Bowl from Ohio State?
  23. 4 years. Excellent. One less position to worry about.
  24. I was surpised to see that he was not tendered a contract. I know this may be small beans when compared to the OL and DL, but when he came in, Ryan Lindell became an all star. Hope we don't lose him.
