You know..... Just about everyone is aware that oil reserves are finite and us earthlings ought to start ramping up on finding an oil alternative or two or three, PDQ. We are unlikely to come up with something like, "Here, just pump this in your gas tank, instead." There has to be workable way to get from "here" to "there." Kudos for your first sentence.

Barring a trade, Nix and Gailey are going to put the guy they feel is the best QB on the field. I don't see what continual bitching about something completely beyond our control, is going to do except clog up the internet even more. And there is truth in what Nix said, even though a lot of posters here are ready to throw all 3 returning QB's under the bus...fully loaded dump truck. Regardless, unless there is a trade before the season is underway, we have the 3 returning QB's + Brown. And I, for one, am fed up with all the continual bitching about it, from people who have yet to see one play, one throw or one snap of the ball from this year's team. Don't like it? Too bad, because that's the way it is. Like it? Good, because that's the way it is. Don't care? That's still the way it is.

That was my point. I expect the play on the field to be better quality than the last several years. Playoff? No. A tough, smart, disciplined team,capable of beating most other teams, that no one wants to face? YES!

I don't see things that rosy, but I expect them to play harder, smarter, be more disciplined and not embarrass themselves this season. However, I hope you are right.

Ya know.....some people here would B word if they got hung with a brand new rope. It's just the nature of some people. They breathe, therefore they B word. I've done my fair share of it and fully reserve the right to do a lot more, if it's justified. It's pretty hard to justify bitching about guys who haven't even signed a contract yet, let alone walked out onto the field.

On paper, you are correct. But you would be hard pressed to find any of the sports writers & commentators who have anything positive to say about Russel. He lacks motivation, he lacks discipline, he had trouble with every aspect of the game and he didn't even have enough self respect to take care of himself physically. It's hard to see much upside in a person with so many negative characteristics. We're not angry with you. Well.....at least I'm not.

If the Bills play hard, play smart and don't lose games they are winning because of stupid blunders, I will be a happier camper. I'm not expecting a playoff berth, but I am hopeful that they will not embarrass themselves this season as they have so many times in the past several years. They should be a more disciplined, better coached and better executing team.
