  1. I guess that high road just got lower.
  2. And that's cool, and everything. But mismanaging that QB situation is a blunder to end all blunders. And firing DeHaven? Idiocy. Giving a 1st round pick and millions to Rob Johnson? Colossal blunder.
  3. Steven, enough with you. YOu've had the same bassackwards agenda since you've been here. Any logic is wasted on you. You think I'm the only one who has noticed this?
  4. I LOATHE Dickerson for his constant shots at Wade. It was sickening. Headset? Who the hell cares? Yeah, last year was the year we made significant progress, but after 1Q of the season this year it might be an anomaly. I still think the suffering we've had to deal with throughout Donahoe's first two years is all the doings of Butler and Wade. We had a horrible cap situation, a horrible QB situation, no RB worth his salt, an aging D, etc. Not to mention the last few drafts by Butler, which were some of the worst in NFL history. You can't fix that idiocy in one year. Corey Moore? Eric Flowers? Holy crap, that's insane. But the last two years are what Donahoe needs to take full responsibility for. This year needs to be an improvement over last year.
  5. Picking in the top five 2 or 3 times doesn't hurt either. A QB and a RB. SD is good, but they've done their fair share of sucking, and burned through a coach.
  6. I can't understand how people can't remember the major, major mistakes wade made. It was quite bad.
  7. Bullsh--. Let's not get into your classic, warped-minded revisionist history. I love Wade. I'd love to have a beer with him. However, he made so many dumbass moves it was sickening. Doesn't anyone remember the Johnson/Flutie debacle that was completely mismanaged? That was horrible, and it was Wade's fault. Ever remember our "punt catcher"? Holy crap, people have no memory of the garbage this guy did. And who was the wonderful special teams coach he brought in after firing Bruce DeHaven? Yeah, that was a brilliant move. Let's not wax poetic about a guy who was overmatched as a head coach, Steven. I guess any shot you can take at the current administration is a way to promote your immature little passive-aggressive agenda. Grow up, little man.
  8. What, are you trying to rub it in my face like an ass? Don't be a prick. Hey - I still like TD. I think he's done lots of good things, but I expect improvement year over year, especially last year to this year. Ain't happening so far.
  9. I actually think this is a GOOD thing. I think WalMart is courageous to ensure that they are able to keep prices low by refusing to allow unions. Maybe because they will realize that people would laugh at them for doing so. And where do they get these funds?
  10. Good post. I think everyone should read a little Ayn Rand as part of their high school curriculum. A little personal responsibility and capitalism would go a long way in making this country better.
  11. My only comment is that Socialism sucks. This is socialism. Wegmans, for example, creates a great environment for employees WITHOUT unions and WITHOUT government-mandated health care.
  12. That whole "There's a lot of football left to be played" thing is getting a bit old. To make the playoffs we'll probably have to win 9 of the last 12 games. Do you really think this "team" can do it? There's NOT a lot of football left to be played. We're 1-3. We need to make a run like we did last year just to sniff the playoffs, and this team is clearly worse than last year's. It's time TD faced reality and did something about the crappy team he's fielded.
  13. I originally wrote this a few years ago about the Gilbride-led O. I think it still fits with the Clements-led O. History shouldn't repeat. But I guess it does. The snowball fight: If we're in a snowball fight and I keep throwing snowballs at your nuts, even if they are small and difficult to hit, you worry about it because although I hit your hip or your thigh most of the time, you know that at some point I'm gonna hit you in the nuts. You've gotta protect your nuts. It's essential because they are your nuts, for God's sake! And one hit in the nuts makes you really woozy and nauseous. So now that I've distracted you away from my real target, which happens to be your face, I can take a shot at your face any time I want. And although it's still hard to hit your face, I know that in many cases your hands will be covering your nuts while I'm throwing at your face, and when I do hit you in the face with a snowball you'll get a nosebleed and run home crying. See? Throwing snowballs at your nuts is the running game, and throwing snowballs at your face is the passing game. I want you to get a nosebleed and run home screaming, so the natural thing to do is to keep throwing snowballs at your nuts until it's easy to hit you in the face. Clements has got to understand the concept of the snowball fight pretty damn quick, or I'm going to hit him in the nuts.
  14. Good post. But playing like he has he damn well better be looking over his shoulder, along with everyone else on the whole damn team, coaches included. The only guy at this point who shouldn't be looking over his shoulder is Ralph.
  15. Really? I'm wondering where you get your crazy info. Do you have a link, or is this just more wild speculation on your part?
  16. Have you watched the games? I've seen plenty of planned rollouts. We've had reverses and fake reverses. I agree with you about McGahee on 3rd down.
  17. I enjoyed it as well. He writes just the way he speaks. If you are a fan of Marv, you'll love the book. I'd love to send Chuck Dickewickey a copy to show him what a class act is like.
  18. This is such a huge deal! Oh my gosh, it's a very important thing to consider and criticize. I actually couldn't sleep last night over the injury reporting issues at OBD. It obviously bothers you as much as it bothers me. Maybe we should protest the wednesday conference calls and refuse reading injury reports because of our displeasure with how mularky handles this. . . . . . On a less sarcastic note - Dude - you really need to get a friggin grip.
  19. There's no such thing as Karma. There's no such thing as bad luck. Superstition is stupid. Do you really think that your predictions have an influence on the outcome of the game? Think about it.
  20. Say again? I forgot to hit the the "sarcasm" button, btw.
  21. I'm NOT with you. There are people who can't handle themselves when drinking, realize this, but drink anyway. So yes, it is the person, but it is ALSO the alcohol. Hey, I love alcohol. All different kinds. I've also been puked on by a drunk at a game, I've had drunk idiots pick fights at the game, I've had beer thrown on me at a game, etc. The overconsumption of alcohol at games does more harm than good. If people could stay under control, it would be cool. But they can't. So it's not cool. It's the fault of these drunk asswipes that I can't buy beer in the second half! But I guess if they continually ruin the experience for others, limiting alcohol sales is the right thing to do.
  22. That explains much, thanks.
  23. Tell me, have you ever actually watched a first time starter before. Have you ever watched a football game before? Given by the stupidity of the above comment, I'd say no.
  24. Doubt it. SF is over a barrel. My bet is that it's a conditional pick, based on the level of suckage. Because you know for sure Donahoe would never want to do anything to improve the team, and would only make a move to ensure more suckage.
  25. True, and the Bills will also probably do their best to get the new WR injured so they can screw the season on purpose. Again.
