that can be true, but not always, and its alot easier to just be less predictable then having to overhaul a roster with all superior personnel. Superior personnel will always make teams better, but very few teams have that kind of talent, and you have to play with what you are given, so the Bills like every other team should continue to upgrade personel, and be less predictable. its bad enough when we fans know what they are going to run, but when the announcers broadcasting the games are talking about what they will run next and how they can tell, thats just being way too obvious I would not be shocked to find out that the only team the pats played frequently that they never had to videotape was the Bills

they key to running a little amount of plays is making sure you aren't predictable, and last years offence was the definition of predictability. more talent, and less predictability will make this offence alot better, and from what Turk has said earlier this offseason, he seems to understand it.

Last year, without a bunch of starters, and before upgrading the DT position and LB position, the Bills defence held the opponents to keep the team in games, however the offence just could not get the job done. So far this offence is still the same, except for the guy in charge of it (which should help a bunch, but it also lost a few players from last year. They need to upgrade the offence if they want to win games, unless this DE can also make sure he can keep the opponents to scoring less then 10 points a game And as it was said before, We don't even know what we have at DE yet with the new DT's. Improving the DT to take pressure off the DE's can make a huge difference. The Bills already have 1 Pro Bowl DE, and 2 pretty good DE's. They weren't comically bad last year, just like the defence as a whole was bad (on the stat sheets it may have looked that way, but when you actually watched them, and saw how they kept the team in the game almost every week, they weren't that bad). DE is not a priority this season, getting weapons on offence to help take pressure off the defence is
