I have a genuine concern that these guys are outstanding on special teams, but just don't have the extra God-given gifts to get it done on every play. I'm sure they are talented and coachable, but I suspect they are missing some of the intangibles that cannot be coached. And since the starting LB's have been so healthy, they are drastically short on experience. I agree, it's easy to talk about how great they are when they have never had to play in a situation where winning or losing hung in the balance.

Bold statements in May = Chilly testicles in January Let's hope for everyone's sake that Willis becomes a star and carries this team on his back. Becuase if he doesn't, come January, I will be wary of any post with a video link.

It seems like there are times when you can start to discount the Pats, and they bounce back and prove themselves. After going 14-2 the past two regular seasons, it's hard to see them losing 2 in a row. Trust me, I hope Pittsburgh brings the thunder, but I wouldn't pick against the Pats...I've been burned before when I thought (more with my heart than my head) that they were finished.

Those are some battles right there. I say Buffalo, Jags, Carolina, and Patriots win. I didn't know NE-Pit was a 4:00 game, that will be a good one to watch. Patriots have a brutal schedule after this weekend also: Week 4 vs. San Diego, Week 5 @ Atlanta, Week 6 @ Denver. Hopefully it's a changing of the guard...

The first team that cut Drew has won it all three times in four years, including going 0-2 with Drew before inserting a 6th round pick to win their first title. And remember the QB controversy the week before the S.B.? Drew came in and threw a TD in the AFC title game when Brady got hurt. They went with Brady in the Super Bowl.....hmmmmm..... And FYI, I didn't say JP was the answer, I said we didn't know yet. Maybe in 2-3 years we will find out. But we DO know that Drew IS NOT the answer. Drew getting picked by the Burger King is "frankly laughable."

That's great. Nice week. The problem is, that's not Drew. Drew played Monday night against Washington. The Week 1 guy was a function of Drew who can appear MAYBE 3 times a season. It's sad to watch his incompetence after 12 years in the league. If he was smart he would have signed with Arizona so he could play those NFC West teams that he was so "great" against last year.

The horse ain't movin, but I'm gonna keep swingin at him: JP may or may not be the answer in Buffalo, we don't know yet...BUT, Drewbie WAS NOT the answer! This much we do know!!!

I have seen Willis do some behind-the-line dancing. It's fine if he's trying to find holes and run where the play is designed. However, it seems that when it's not working in the 1st quarter, he continues with the same style all game, and he finishes with 15 rushes for 42 yds. It would be nice to see him say "Screw this, I'm 235 lbs, I'm just going to mash into a crease." A much smaller Cadillac proved that running hard and pumping your feet in a tight space can make the 4-yard runs just as valuable as the 30-yard runs. That said, Willis' 8 100-yard games in 13 starts is not something a slow white guy like me should be criticizing.

I'll give it a shot. I'll take: Southern Cal- offense is too good LSU- defense is too good Tech- HAHA, can't get this one wrong! I'll take the Hokies. Iowa- Damn OSU cost me some money against Texas; go Iowa Michigan- They already have their worst game out of their system.
