  1. AVL just said he WILL vote to certify. Shinkle gonna go down with the scumbag ship. No surprise.
  2. And of course, Shinkle could only reply with the weakest answer ever, the classic "I'M the one asking YOU the questions" That's how you know you got someone beat.
  3. Yeah, we know that dick Shinkle wont vote to certify. And we know the 2 Dems will. It comes down to Van Langevelde, and I was originally worried when he first moved to table the motion in order for more discussion, but from his question to Chris Thomas it seems like he knows his only option is to certify right now. I loved Chris Thomas's advisement to Shinkle "You cant audit, you cant investigate, what ARE you going to do for 40 days? You have to certify in order to audit and investigate."
  4. For anyone who wants to watch the Michigan (potential) *****-show. Here is a live feed. https://www.youtube.com/user/MichSoSOffice
  5. Absolutely. The 2007 Giants backed into the playoffs as a Wild Card, and beat the 18-0 Patriots in the Super Bowl.
  6. 2010. Very interesting playoff year. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010–11_NFL_playoffs
  7. I seem to remember Seattle winning theirs at 7-9 one year. I dont think anyone has won it at 6-10, but we could certainly see that this year. 2020, yo.
  8. Murphy is gone as UFA. All the contracts Beane handed out last offseason are cheap and easy to get out of if we decide to replace them (and we should). There is no way Beane can ignore the DE position this offseason.
  9. Does anyone in the NFC East even WANT to make the playoffs at this point? They'd instantly go from a top-10 pick to 19th overall (as a crap team) based on the draft rules.
  10. Again, JMO... I dont think so, even if we were 8-2. Really only because they are still too unproven, and have too many holes in the roster. For me it goes beyond record. Of course, you have to have a top record, but that is just the beginning. IMO, the only elite/top-tier teams right now are KC and Pitt. KC because they have the QB, the coach, the weapons, enough talent on D to get by, and a recent Super Bowl victory. I dont think there is much argument on KC. Pitt because they have the experienced QB and coach, have enough weapons, a top D, and are always a winning franchise. I dont care that their schedule has been easy, they're still a great team all around. I guess cases could be made to add Green Bay and/or the Saints, but the NFC looks weaker in general this year. I'd definitely put the Bills in that category with the Packers, Saints, and Titans as "knocking on the ceiling". The good news is, we still have to play the games. Which means any team could knock off any other team. We played KC well (and I think could take them in a rematch), I feel good going into the Pittsburgh game. So I like our chances in the playoffs against anyone. edit: I just looked a little deeper at the Saints Defensive performance this season. If/when Brees is healthy, they are an elite team. I'll give it to them.
  11. Going to get real interesting here at 1pm, when the Michigan Board is scheduled to meet and vote to certify. https://www.lansingstatejournal.com./story/news/2020/11/23/michigan-election-certification-board-of-canvassers-electoral-votes-live/6389780002/
  12. DE LB DB Entire draft should be defense.
  13. 8 teams is too many for an "elite" category. That's 1/4 of the league. Take the top 2-3 from that group. Those are the elite teams. JMO
  14. It's all internet rumors as far as I know, but word is it was mounting pressure from ownership to start Tua that caused the decision. We all know how that plays out!
  15. I think every year there are only maybe 2-4 teams that can be labeled "Top Tier". We certainly arent there right now. But we are on track to get there, and much closer than we ever have been over the last 25 years. I'd put us right below that Top Tier cutoff. I like that we are being built to be a perennial winner. Maybe not always the best team in the league, but always a shoe-in for the playoffs. And then anything can happen from there.
  16. Tua should never have been made the starter to begin with. I almost feel sorry for him, but happy to see the Fish screwing up their new QB of the future.
  17. If season ended today, here is where we are. I'd take this scenario every time.
  18. Steve Christie and the Bigfoot special at Little Cesar's
  19. She attacked the Georgia GOP leadership in the middle of a Senate runoff campaign that will have huge consequences. Mitch and the rest of the GOP leadership are happy to let Trump have his little tantrum as it keeps his base riled and energized, but the moment it crossed the line they stepped in and told him to reel it back.
  20. But they havent. Not once. They've had numerous opportunities in multiple courts across several states. They've had demands by judges to show them something. Anything! And every single time, they have nothing. I'm all for keeping elections secure and honest, and keeping a skeptical eye on them to make sure they are fair for everyone. Our systems definitely need to be improved (which plenty of Bills have been passed on, but have been blocked by Republicans in the Senate every time). But Trump and his team have nothing. There was no widespread fraud. They are just being sore losers and running out the clock. He knows this. Publicly, he/his team talk this big game, but privately he is already planning his life after office. It's done. Time to move onward and upward.
  21. They are starting to figure it out. The wheels are falling off. And some are even starting to eat their own. Truly delicious. Some great comments and moments of realizations from the Conservative subreddit. At least some are starting to see the truth and reality.
  22. I'm not sure this correlation equals causation. It definitely helps to have experienced players in the game, but Dane Jackson has looked about as good as Wallace.
  23. Fully agree. That's why I left it as "we'll see".
