  1. Three demerits, and you'll receive a citation. Five citations, and you're looking at a violation. Four of those and you'll receive a verbal warning. Keep it up and you're looking a written warning. Two of those, that'll land in a world of hurt, in the form of a disciplinary review written up by me and placed on the desk of my superior. Write it up by the end of the day or you'll receive a full disadulation.
  2. And he'll continue to make his $8-10M/yr even after the Bills fire him, so no one should feel too bad for the guy. What was the thinking here then?
  3. Yeah, Nantz just happened to catch the few plays Diggs needed a breather, and a couple of them happened to be 3rd downs. Looking desperately for something to talk about.
  4. The same guy who caught the go-ahead TD with 1:50 left and just needed his "Defensive Guru" DC/HC to get a stop with less than 2 minutes left. I think this was just a case of broadcast bias. According to @HappyDays, Diggs played 87 of 95 snaps yesterday.
  5. We need to kill this myth that "Josh chose Dorsey". McD chose Dorsey, and ran the idea by Josh, who gave the thumbs-up because he was already familiar. The amount of influence Josh had in this hiring is reaching mythical heights with the fanbase, and it's just not accurate. Josh got the simple treatment that Wilson wanted in Seattle and Watson wanted in Houston. "Hey, before you make a final decision you might want to run it by your highest paid player and team leader to make sure there arent any surprises and to better promote a united front." That's the extent of it.
  6. Exactly. And exactly why I voted for McClappy. He's the only one who has influence on the entire game. A single play by a single player is never the sole factor.
  7. lol, YOU arent responding to what YOU said correctly. You literally said: There is nothing usual about winning more than one. If all you are saying is teams need to get to the Super Bowl more than once, than Philly fits your criteria as well. The Eagles FO is widely regarded as the best in the league and Roseman widely regarded as best GM. You dont have to agree with that since it's your own opinion, but dont act like they arent right up there with the best.
  8. The FO didnt hire the coaches. The coaches have floundered and squandered the talent provided. The GM didnt blow the simple D calls in 13 seconds. We have had, for the last few years running, one of the best rosters on paper in the NFL. Sure, that doesnt amount to much, there is no trophy for it, but the FO does their job and they do it well. The salary cap is not an issue, and Diggs' contract is not unreasonable for what we got. I wont argue the Miller contract as I was shocked by that price tag as well, although he did look great before the fluke injury. We'll be able to clear up over $24M in cap space in like 4 aging vet moves anyways. Plus all the other tricks and levers GMs pull. Brandon Beane just won GM of the Year in 2020 and 2022. Roseman will win it this year, rightfully so. We're good in the FO. Need to get the coaches figured out tho. I'm interested to see what Beane can help do there as well.
  9. This is the cloud of Patriots dynasty fogging your memory. It is NOT common for teams to win multiples. Certainly not in the modern league. Seattle only has 1 win. Rams had 1 in 2000, and then a completely different team in a completely different city had 1 in 2021 (and now suck). KC had a bit of a dynasty there with 2 wins in 4 years, but again, that's an anomaly. Even the Ravens who have been one of the best managed teams in the NFL have 1 in 2001, and only 1 more in 2013. If it wasnt for getting teabagged by New England for 20 years, we would know that winning even ONE Super Bowl is pretty uncommon. Let alone multiple.
  10. We're talking Front Offices in the conversation you quoted. Follow the quotes if you want to jump in
  11. I love Stef and do not think he quit on his team at all. But I also believe a lot of those missed plays were on "breathers". They showed it last night, on one of Digg's catches he ran completely across the field. For a gain of like 12 yards he had actually ran close to 60, on a sprint, with a DB pulling on him. He took himself out after that play as well. If dude needs a breather, that's fine. It's likely what was happening. But doesnt mean he quit on his team at all. edit to add: If we have groupings that dictate Sherfield over Diggs and our OC chooses to use those in the red zone, then he should be fired as well. I'd be more surprised if Brady actively called for Sherfield over Diggs there.
  12. Roseman and crew just won a Super Bowl like 5 years ago, and then completely readjusted and rebuilt with a new HC and new QB and ended up back in the Super Bowl last year. Rams sold their souls for that SB win ("F*CK THEM PICKS"), and I cant argue with the results, but they are a complete mess with a worse record than the Bills currently. Eagles and Chiefs are best in the league. Bills are right up there in top 3-5 tho.
  13. Josh Allen James Cook Stef Diggs Shakir Kincaid Knox Dawkins McGovern Torrence Ed Oliver Rousseau Milano Bernard Taron Johnson Benford Douglas That is only replacing our elderly Safeties which we knew we would have to do no matter how this season played out. Tre White with another fluke injury ending his career. Morse is over priced Brown could be upgraded, but not necessary. So what are we really looking at as a "rebuild"? The Safeties we knew about. CB due to injury. Morse which we saw coming as well. And we havent even mentioned re-signing guys like Epenesa, D Jones, or Floyd. Sure, you could replace others, but you dont have to or need to just because you replace the coaching.
  14. I liked Reddick and he was on my FA radar list last year, but coming out of Carolina he was no where near what he is today. Beane would have been taking another flyer on a small time FA hoping for the best. Leonard Floyd was a much better FA prospect this year than Reddick was 2 years ago. Plus, Reddick really wanted to be close to home in New Jersey. Mayyyybe we could have lured him to Buffalo since we're still north east, but we were up against that as well. For what it's worth, Floyd currently has 9.5 sacks, right ahead of Reddick with 8.5. The Eagles absolutely have the best FO and GM in the league, but ours isnt far behind.
  15. I'll take this another direction... With a spot open in Carolina, a weak division, and team just needing to get to 9-10 wins, this would be a perfect landing spot for McD once he is fired at the end of this season.
  16. That said, keep Reich as far away from this team as possible. Another soft, conservative coach that the game has passed by. He's the Offensive McD.
  17. Everything they said leading up to the draft was that Reich and GM were in lockstep for wanting Young.
  18. I've been hearing about this Tampa Turnaround, and how each of these losses or bad games is "just the thing" the team needs to wake them up for the past 2 years. Aint happening with McD around. Hahahaha, ok, this thread has to be sarcasm and I just missed it in the first post.
  19. When you have "Franchise QB" figured out, everything else can be changed on the fly. There is no need for down times, especially multi-year rebuilds, when we have Josh on the roster. Just retool and go. Bring in a new HC, new coordinators, some new players on defense and let's go. Yes, the Defense will look significantly different next year as our vets age out. That is life. Not some grand mismanagement. Out of all the players named in the original post, Von Miller is the only real issue.
  20. 3rd and 18 is our sweet spot. We LOVE giving up conversions on 3rd and 18.
  21. 13 seconds against us in KC. 16 seconds against us by KC in Buffalo (week 7 2022) The BILLS THEMSELVES did it last year against Detroit. Got the ball with 21 seconds left. Had Josh rip ONE pass to get us into FG range, and kicked the game winner. McD just crapped his pants. Again.
  22. Reich is a bigger puss than McD. Hell no.
  23. Pitt proving our point about how inferior our coaching is. Minny proving the point that teams should hire an Offensive HC.
