  1. I miss the old days, when we used to talk about stuff. Why don't we just get into the dynamics of the M. Jackson trial as they apply to whoever is left on American Idol? Thirdborn, my friend I'm proud to say, had a long, long thread running for Gus. Another good man even included it into his book, speaking highly of this site. I see a thread with 600 some odd posts, couldn't find one for Gus, so I added one. Blown off, we must respect TV above all. Who, after all has a mole? That is what is truly important in life. Kid's? You are going to not be kids forever. Whatever.
  2. I still can't believe anyone is taking this thread seriously. I'd let the sunova B word go to seed and hang a 351 Ford short block from the tree. The man knows when to cut his lawn. But, one could devise a really good short film from the concept.
  3. Awww...now I don't care what you're wearing. Just ruined the fantasy. Be that way.
  4. No man, blood agents make the wings fall off man.
  5. The last paragraph hits the nail on the head. that's what makes this such a nightmare.
  6. So I check my PM's just to find slander from the white supremacists? Racist.
  7. There ya go! and springtime to boot. Don't forget to wear only your underwear and a pair of workboots and scratch yourself a lot. Neighbors love that.
  8. Send me the grid, beer boy...we'll take care of the whole neighborhood. How you been?
  9. I always like to do mine between 3 and 4 AM. I just turn up the stereo loud enough to drown out the sound of the lawnmower. Make sure you drink plenty of beer, too.
  10. They are feeling trmendous effect. In fact, they are reeling. It took a long time for them to organize themselves, and gain experience. Those coming up from within are coming off the bench. Thet are down to a few B team members and basically into the C team. The coach is hiding in a cave somewhere on dialysis eating goat on a stick. They are still a great danger, because of their decentralized planning and execution abilities...but much less of a danger than they were.
  11. I thought the seal team didn't use HARM's, they used those little horns with the red rubber bulbs.
  12. Is that why you own two gerbils and a goat?
  13. Boomers east coast are all out of king's Bay, which is going to have some fast attack company pretty soon.
  14. Bad enough they unwrap and eat rum cake.
  15. Bored. Slow day. I really hate giving simplistic responses, but really don't like typing a full page per ... whatever it is.
  16. No, the administration very early on saw the need to consolidate HD activities and focus on the problem as a whole. the debate was in how to structure and go about it, strategically. Joint capabilities has been on Rumsfelds wish list for years, and the current gang in the OSD is actually working very hard to transform the DOD into an organization and force more suited to the types of threats we face now, not those of 20 years ago. Transformation is a purely Bush Admin initiative. A lot of ex-whoevers have jumped on the bandwagon, saying they thought of it - but it simply isn't so. The Joint Transformation Planning Guidance is a Bush administration document, not a Clinton.
  17. Developing a true strategy, global in nature in conjunction with about 90 different allies to root out and combat terrorism wherever it may be found. Developing the first coalition of nations in history to work in concert to stem, and eventually stop the proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction. Developing a Global plan and organization to combat WMD where other states and non-state actors are unwilling to comply with normal convention. And best of all, actually DOING something about it, rather than make side deals and give it lip service as the last Democratic Administration has done. Let's not forget restoring the idea in our adversaries minds that we will stick with, and see things through rather than cut and run as was demonstrated by the aforementioned administration. Like it or not, a lot of the problems we have now, to include the 9/11 attacks can be traced back to the strategic impressions given to many state and non-state actors because of our limp wristed activities of the 90's.
  18. Where the F*** have you been, anyway? We need sauce help.
