You don't understand that these people watch film all year long. They form intelligent, informed opinions and gather consensus among a team of experienced scouts and personnel pros who have forgotten more football than you'll ever know.
You're not in football for a reason. The people building this team are in football for a reason. Let them do their jobs, and judge the players on their performance.
hey nobhead, first of all this is a forum for people who know nothing and like to B word so if you dont like it then get the hell out, why do you read threads in a forum like this and then get mad?
Back to your quote, these guys do their jobs great right? and they know what they're talking about right? I have a few names for you...... Ryan Leaf, Akili Smith, Cade McNown, Ki-jana Carter, Blair Thomas...... and so on, yeah they really are great at what they do. you act like GM's cant make mistakes and that people in this forum know nothing.

1st rd. OT Alex Barron (Clements goes to Washington, Bills may have to give up a mid rd pick)
2nd rd. TE Matt Jones (Henry goes to Philly or Tampa for an early second)
2nd rd. PK Mike Nugent (Bill's original pick)
Sign Ty Law to replace Clements
I like Clements a lot but I do not want the Bills to have a 7-8 million dollar a year cornerback starting in 2006 and beyond. Take the hit on defense, get something in return, put it to use on what the Bills lack most, offensive line talent.
hey man... how much money do you think we really have? i mean its a nice scenario and all, but come on.... "oh we'll just sign a number 9 pick, 2 seconds, a 3rd.... oh and then ty law" come on man, why do u think we havent been active in free agency?

bob.... this makes two of us and proves my point more.... nobody cares about rod trafford at this time thats all im saying. i agree with you he is an interesting prospect and i will follow him this summer but right now, with the draft in less than a week, and cuts 3 months away, why does this matter now? thats all im saying.

its over for mesi anyways

ok no on chris henry... and let me tell you all something, fred gibson is the biggest kitty in the entire draft. he will never go across the middle and he short arms passes. hes 6'4'' and hes affraid to get hit, he will be a bigger bust than reed or aiken

Don't laugh just yet. He reportedly looked good in pre-season last year and was a late cut. The Bills brought him back when injuries hit late in the season. He must have shown them something. Any speculation as to whether he might make the team? Has anyone more knowledgeable then I seen enough to assess his chances?
bob.... how did i prove your point.... what point are you trying to make here, i said this whole topic doesnt matter..... i guess its me

first of all dont listen to any of that crap that "bill from NYC" said. he cleary doesnt know what the hell he's talking about. travis was one of my favorite players here, watching him run through defender after defender never got old. he will never be brought down by just one guy. he will give u all that he has for just your gratitude in return. all of his negatives (pass blocking, cathing out of the backfield) i feel dont apply to philly because brian westbrook takes care of all of that. i go to school in philly so i watched them play a lot last year and the eagles didnt have a tough, hard nosed, running game. travis will give you that and you will be pleased. good luck next year and be happy if the eagles get travis

great site thanks!

i was actually suprised sape didnt get in more last year, i was excited last spring about him when i saw him get into the backfield on a couple plays. Did we find another Pat Williams?
-
im big on watching film and studying draft guys but so far I have never been so wrong about 2 players. I was excited when josh reed fell to us and i was touting sam aiken as a sleeper way before we picked him. i guess i was wrong but i still hold hope for aiken, as far as reed goes, he can walk next year and we wouldnt miss a beat

if cleveland and NE are bettering their teams by using each other than why is that bad? if they can take and trade each other's players to make themselves better.... ur telling me thats wrong? so if u were the GM and NE offered you Rohan Davey, a player that would seem to fit better in your system than theirs, you would reject the offer? After all, isnt that what teams try to do anyways... make themselves better through use of other teams? And even if it was some "conspiracy" what are you or the league gunna do about it? not let them trade players? gimme a break
-
.......who cares........ cuts dont happen until june, the draft is a week away, and ur wondering if Rod Trafford is gunna make the team... please... WHO CARES

I knew someone would say Bledsoe, but I didn't figure on the poster doing it. Bledsoe was NOT a bad trade. Bledsoe was a fantastic trade. We were desperate, we were about to start Alex Van Pelt on a 3-13 team. OUCH.
Bledsoe brought immediate legitimacy to the position, inflated our ticket sales, and brought excitement back to Buffalo.
Not to mention that he had a Probowl year, was good enough to inflate Peerless' numbers so we could get our first rounder back, and draft McGahee. Not to mention the other players who came to Buffalo, who probably would not have come if we didn't have a true quarterback.
In hindsight, yes Bledsoe couldn't win the big one for us. Bledsoe couldn't even get us in the playoffs. But he was definitely worth the trade!
couldnt have said it better

let me tell you something...... fitzpatrick will be a starter someday and is one of the biggest sleepers in this draft
-
jamie nails sucked with us, this is true, but he went to miami and was a pro bowl left guard for them, im not sure if he made it, was a reserve, or was snubbed but i remember miami fans talking about it

guys...... Alex Barron sucks....... end of story
-
why do people think that Adam jones will be a good corner? everyone just goes with the flow because he's rated high, but what does he really have thats so special?

ok.... Clements has publicly stated he wants to be a free agent, and he wants to test the market. If you are another team (specifically the redskins) why are you going to trade your #1 pick for a guy who your going to have for one year? It doesnt make sense. Now, the obvious solution would require Clements to sign and then trade, which we already know he doesnt want to do since he wants to test the market. If we get anything for Clements it wont be big, definitely not a first rounder, so my guess is that unless Clements changes his opinion he'll be in a Bill's uniform next year. Now I do realize that if there were any team out there that would pull such a dumb move it would be Daniel Snyder. I just think that a lot of things would have to happen before this was complete. Also people have been talking about a huge signing bonus if we were to try and sign him, but lets not forget that the top ten pick that we are not going to get would require about the same bonus anyway...
