1. i dont know, i would feel more comfortable with big mike on the left side rather than someone else, but at the same time the worst part of mike's game is pass blocking, hes always been good in the run, and im sure JP wouldnt feel confident with mike's strugglesw on his blind side, i'de rather have someone who is not as complete as mike but pass blocking be his strength

  2. Camp Observations -

I got a good look at Roscoe yesterday, I can't see how a guy that size will be able to survive in the NFL.  Catching patterns in the middle at camp is one thing, but doing under fire is another.  If he wants to be a real receiver - he might want to join the Hamilton Ti-Cats.

Losman is a real concern hanging onto the ball.  Seems like he's thinking way too much, not playing football.  Maybe it would have been in our best interests to keep Bledsoe one more year to help groom JP

For you fantasy guys, you might want to rethink spending a high pick on McGahee - unless you get points for chip blocks on rushing ends, I am not sure how many points he's going to get you.  Losing Jonus will be felt.

Really miss big Pat in the middle, the choices to replace him are obviously high motor guys with little skill.  Works well at Boise State, but not in the NFL.  His loss is going to cost Fletcher a good 30 tackles as you can't run guys down with a guard in your grill.

I'll report more as I spend more time at camp.

so.... your a pretty positive guy then uh?

  3.

Someone else wrote a report from the first practice that Big Mike was running windsprints. Perhaps that's why he tweaked a hamstring.

I watched Stamer on every single kickoff last year. Two words- wedge buster.

That lunatic would take a 60 yard sprint and go headfirst into four guys. Absolutely fantastic. I almost hope he doesn't start just so I can see that again.

oh i hope he was doing sprints and tweaked it, i thought it was in the middle of practice, i knew something didnt make sense because they were saying how much weight he lost, even though i didnt see a difference, as far as stamer goes, thats hilarious, maybe liam ezekial can be the crazy wedge buster this year, i mean come on..... the guy bites himself before games, and lindell..... you better watch out if you miss another field goal liam's a commin, maybe thats why we signed him? haha

  4. Wow, that's the second account like that of Stamer.  What the hell is he doing out there?

    395507

he's just all over the place, every time theres a pass broken up, a fumble recovery, a great hit, its always stamer, plus the fact the posey is solid and doesnt really give us anything more than that

yes mike williams went through all the drills today, i know they said he had a great offseason, but when a guy comes in the first day and starts pulling muscles it usually means he's out of shape, hamstrings are the key, but he looked fine

it will be interesting to see how many RB's we hold on to, i was actually thinking today that rashard lee might be cut. Shaud williams and lionel gates got most of the backup carries, and im almost certain that burns will be on the team, i know hes not that good but it seemed like he was a part of almost every package out there. The main reason is that he's versitle, he can carry the ball, play fullback if shelton goes down, and today he was returning kicks a little, and although he didnt think he was great at it, bobby april was praising him loud and clear all day

  5. A bunch of different things i saw today, in terms of the team itself i was impressed by how quickly everybody was moving in and out and knew exactly where the were supposed to be for only the 2nd day of camp

QB: Losman definitely has the tools everyone is talking about, but he is so eratic, he threw 2 balls so far off the mark the receivers didnt even go for them, and then the next play threw a ball across field for about 50 yards diagonally to evans with amazing touch. Personally i think kevin thompson should make the team as the #3 because he's young, big, and has an arm, and it doesnt make sense to me to have shane matthews doing nothing and not improving for an entire season. If it gets down to #3 I'd rather see this kid making strides than someone who is going to retire at the end of the year. It was interesting though i read from BillsGuyInMalta's report about woodbury returning kicks, i didnt see that but if it was him, they are definitely looking for someone other than matthews at #3

    other news:

-the play you will hear about josh reed cathing a slant up the middle and taking it to the house would never have happened, troy vincent would have taken his head off if they were in pads, he let up and let him catch the ball

-jonathan smith looks absolutely horrible, he had to repeat the receiver drills because he kept dropping balls, the rest he did catch were bobbled, tony brown is huge

Im making a prediction right now........ Josh Stamer starts over Jeff Posey on opening day, the kid is an animal

  6. I don't think that's JP.

First of all, why would they put highlights from two years ago?  Royde Williams was drafted in the 4th round of this years draft.

Secondly, Richard Irvin wore #7 last year, and threw 7 TDs in splitting time with the other Tulane QB Lester Ricard.

Ok its definately JP cuz you can see the words LOSMAN on his back on most of them, but did anyone notice that before every snap, he looks at the exact area is is going to throw to?

  7. as much as i loved watching thurman thomas play, he was my favorite player of that great bills era, one time i was in the first row hanging over the wall at Rich Stadium with kids all around trying to get his autograph cuz he was signing. Anyways i was basically face to face with him he was right infront of me while signing. I think there was a school there or camp or something and that camp's kids were all around me in which they were majority African American descent, i was young at the time, and thurman wouldnt sign my card but he was signing everyone else's, my dad just told me he would explain it "some day". i think back to it now and he's got my nomination.

  8. sounds pretty good, theres not really a place you went wrong but if i had to pick one i would say either trade one of your WR to try to pick up another RB. Everybody knows RB gets you the big points, and J. Jones always gets injured, but i am excited about him, and Bettis wont be the feature back, if you only need to start 2 thats pretty good, nice draft!

  9. In picture 18...J.P. looks like Sandler doing a comedy routine.

With Tasker and Reed chuckling in the background.

Anybody there know what he was saying.

    351414

thats really funny that you say that because ever since we've drafted him i've seen him in pictures and sometimes i'm just like wow, he really looks like adam sandler. its funny to see someone else notice it too

  10. Chad MortonWell remeber all those restricted free agents the Redskins signed; John Hall, Jermaine Haley, Laverneus Coles and Chad morton seems Hall is the only one left. As Coles was traded, Haley is a FA and now Chad Morton. I must admit I thought Steve Spurrier was going to be a good NFL coach, but I was wrong.

    350601

yeah, im sure a lot of people thought that way, but i dont think that even the people who thought he would fail would predict he would have done so badly and would be out of the NFL

  11. i dunno, maybe because im young and i dont have money, but theres no way i would have spent $800 to watch a bills practice and eat lunch. The lunch thing sounds really cool, im sure that would have been fun, but for that amount of money i'll just wait a month and watch their practices for free. The touring of the facilities is ok i guess, but i mean what really is there? the field, lockeroom, weight room, i dunno. I really would have liked to eat with MM but not for that amount of money. but anyways it looks like im alone.
