  1. i will honestly be disapointed if we get antyhing less than a 3rd rounder for him. I understand his value and all, but just thinking about his great seasons and we may only get a 5th for him, that would stink.

  2. well look what we have here.... or might, now the cardinals have released shelton (who we can now get for free), the titans' brown broke his hand, and philly's westbrook is still not playing. Everybody thought that TD was rediculous for not pulling the trigger. Nothin has happened yet, and even if it never does, i still would have never thought that it would work out this way and that the market for henry might actually be better after the draft. Props to TD for stickin to his guns!

  3. This is great and all, but the problem is......the LB spot in the NFL is probably the most easy to find good players.  It would be a lot nicer to have the best D-Line, O-Line, TE's or something like that.

What do you mean? Easy to find good players......... have you watched the draft the last 5 years, theres no linbackers that are good every single year..... dont say thats its easy to find good players.

  4. Good attempt, but I have heard from numerous sources that Winfield is probably flat out one of the best if not best shutdown corners in the league.  He may have been short but he flat out was the best we had.  Bad hands, but never beat.

Thats just not correct..... im sorry, he was a very good cover corner, but i distinctly remember him getting burned a few times, i saw him last year with the vikings get burned by marvin harrison, there were a few times where he got beat badly.

  5. I like Kevin Thompson a lot. i saw him play the other day and it seems as though he has all the tools, i mean he is 6'5'' and can run, has a strong arm, the interception i saw was a tipped ball, so i think he'll make it as our #3 behind Losman and Holcomb. I see no reason why we would absolutely need Shane Matthews on our team. He'll never see the field, and even if he would, it woul mean the season is over anyway so why not give Kevin a shot.

William Green..... i dont think the Bills organization would go for a guy like that

The reason everybody is saying that Jonathan Smith could be cut is because his only role is returning punts. Yes, he was good, i dont know if he was better than average, but Parrish now fills that roll and he can actually play on offense. Roscoe fills 2 positions. He can take away jonathan smith on punt returns, and take away josh reed for the 3rd receiver spot.

I dont think they will cut bannan, i mean why would you take the time to convert him to different posistions and then cut him before the season even started. You wouldnt even get to see if he could do anything.....

I lived in philadelphia last year and watched corey simon play. He is a lard ass that has to come off the field every other play because he is tired. In every important situation they took him out and put Sam Rayburn in. I like Ron Edwards more than Simon at this point.

  6. I for one am keen on Eddie George. I know it sounds crazy, but it's not like we're looking for a starter. George isn't completely shot; he'd be a good 3rd down back and mentor to Willis.

no no no........ he is completely shot

  7. Probably. The Eagles have 3 key players holding out for a new contract, TO, Simon, and Westbrook. They need to get the money from someone. No one better than this big mouth career underachiever.

    hahaha thats funny...... career underachiever.....haha

  8. I think this is an option:

LT-Teague LG-Anderson C-Tucker RG-Villarriall RT-Williams. I am not sure what Gandy's potential is, however I do not think people should be in a ruch to push Ross Tucker out of the starting line up.

the only reason we signed bennie anderson is to get tucker out of the lineup

  9. i dont know about everyone else, but i will never ever forget the dumbest play in football history which lonnie johnson made. Does anyone remember when we did that fake punt to him and he was running down the field looking backwards and forgot that the person returning the punt (Darren Sharper) was there. Lonnie, not paying attention got leveled and fumbled, i think we got it back but still, everytime i think of that i laugh but im embarassed at the same time...

  10. great post! its wierd looking back before last season and seeing how much things have changed..... bledsoe riding off into the sunset and JP not being a part of the immediate future hahahahaha, McGahee insisting that travis is the starter...... and Lee Evans being the back up to Josh Reed...... my my my how things change in just one year

  11. If A-train was signed, i like this a lot for a multitude of reasons. First, as already mentioned by previous posts, thomas will be a very capable back up and it no longer matters what henry wants to do. But the main reason i like it is because it eliminates the competition for the suitors for running backs. Since most teams drafted running backs and the value for henry has dropped from a 2nd or 3rd to now a 5th or possibly nothing. Also, teams have the choice between a FA thomas or trading for henry. The easier for teams to get done would be for thomas, but with thomas off the market for many teams if we sign him, we can then get full value for henry again, and we can control the outcome of both if we choose.

  12. as far as your defense and special teams go, terrence mcgee is by far the best player in the leaque, he blew everyone out of the water in yahoo last year. he starts on defense which means he gets picks, tackles, and sacks, and then he had all those return yards and TD's on special teams last year. he's a great pick, certainly better than roscoe, we dont really know what his role will be yet.

  13. I watched every single eagle game last year and their best DT is Sam Rayburn. Simon is always coming out of the game either because he's too tired, hurt, or its a big down and the coaches know he wont give 100%. He's very lazy, but i dont know if a change of scenery would help. As for freddie mitchell, if the eagles told me they would give me 2 1st rounders for henry but we had to take mitchell, i wouldnt do it hahaha. I definitely never want that guy on my team. But i still think they want Henry. Just dont know for what though

  14. Does Arizona really think that J.J Arrington is their guy. I mean come on, he's 26 years old and hasnt played a down in the NFL yet. I mean Marcell Ship is decent at best. I would much rather have Travis Henry than those two guys. And they picked Arrington with the 2nd rounder that they would have given us. I would have traded us the pick for Henry I think they would get better vaule.
