I came across this video that you might find interesting if you are into birds. It is supposed to be a good year for the boreal birds coming south, some even into the Carolina's. I found the first half more interesting than the second but it was still informative.

I remember him more for being an Milwaukee Brave than him being an Atlanta Brave. I suppose it is mostly forgotten the great teams he led in '57 and '58.
RIP Mr. Aaron.
A song by a former REM member about Aaron.
A slightly off topic but fitting song if you are a baseball fan.

Yeah I hate Marroon as much as the next Bills fan but that's not such a bad gig he's got now. He'll probably move up the ladder a bit over time but you could do worse than working for Saban at one of the most successful college programs in history. Tuscaloosa is a nice little town as well. We have friends there. (the husband is a gymnastics coach from Orchard Park ironically enough and I think his brother was at the Ravens game).
I'm a "big picture" guy so I view the whole Marrone thing as a huge blessing. IMO for the Buffalo Bills specifically, I don't think there could have been a better hire than McDermott. The right guy at the right time. We had to endure the Marrone and Rex Ryan "eras" first, but that's how fate laid it out for us. Kinda like my life - I have a wonderful wife and two amazing kids now but I had to go through many, many terrible relationships to get here (you know the kind where you wake up in a mental ward somewhere one day). Yet I wouldn't change a thing because that would change where I am today and I wouldn't give that up for anything. Same with the Bills now. I don't care if people don't agree with my opinion about McD. The grass is always greener, right? Well, three playoff appearances in four years, after 17 long seasons without a single playoff appearance, is pretty damn good to me.
So, in conclusion......best of luck to you, "St. Doug" (haha - still makes me chuckle). Your decision to jump ship when the going got tough was the best thing you ever did for the Buffalo Bills organization. Appreciate ya!
I think you should start posting in some Sabres forums. They need your perspective.

Marv Levy's statement seems appropriate here. "Once a coach starts listening to the fans and the media, he will soon become one."

The fact that he kicked a cold ball through cold air made that kick was even more amazing. Notice the kickoffs were not going as far in this game.

I knew his socks would look like that. Hilarious that he does this.
Anyone who has ever seen "Moochie of the Little League" knows, you never wash lucky sox. I have to wonder how many here might have seen it since it was from Disney in 1959. It's on Youtube now.

this is correct. the use of mostly lowercase letters is a clue to his firm Lower Case Capital. Have to love billionaires born in Bills country.
Hopefully he was famous enough for this game.
I guess so, you used him and someone guessed him. Meets the one sure fire requirement. Or is that two?

@4merper4mer hasn't been heard from since the Hathaway connection was revealed. Hope he's not in a dark place.
Up next is a deceased American.
What decade did he pass? Or maybe better said, what decade did he fail?

Did his athleticism require a ball?

Nothing more predictable in the United States than a fake Steelers fan.
Someone who didn’t grow up in Pittsburgh, has no connection to the city, but saw them on TV and hopped onto a bandwagon.
I think you just slighted some Bills fans who started following them in the 90's.

I just checked the wind predictions and it looks like the Bills are catching a break with it being an 8PM game. The game time wind is predicted 10-15mph. If the game was played at 1PM the prediction is 15-25mph.
