Amazing they have this tech.  Imagine if they had it in 1975!

Here is the Arthur M. Anderson's forecasted track to Spain:

The boat was built in 1952...Six years earlier than when the Edmund Fitzgerald (1958) was launched.

Thanks for the link.  I really like to see that Ontario/St Lawrence traffic.

There are so many good movies out of South Korea.

    The Man from Nowhere

    Burning

    I Saw The Devil

    Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance

    Oldboy

These are just a few, great content from Korea if you don’t mind subtitles.

My son was big on Korean movies and gave me a list to watch.

             The Chaser

             Memories of Murder

             The Chase

The Admiral: Roaring Currents -- Based on a battle in Korean history

He also gave me an odd Japanese movie -  Departures.  It is about how the Japanese handle funerals, I found the cultural take on this very interesting.

The tough thing about these is finding them.

  3.      We have been having problems with our fridge.  The food section was just not cold enough.   I thought for sure the thermostat was going.  It cycled on for 6-7 minutes and then shut off for about 10.  Turning the thermostat up had little affect.

I looked up the availability of the thermostat figuring I could jumper the contacts that turn the fridge on to see it that worked.  In watching the replacement video, I could see that while you adjust the thermostat in the front of the fridge, the sensor for temperature is actually in the center but in the back close to the back wall.  When I reached back I could feel cold air blowing on two or three cans of beer which were within two inches of the air outlet/ temp sensing housing.  The cans were very cold.

I moved the cans away from the air blowing on them and voila, I do not have a fridge problem.  It seems you cannot place an object anywhere close to this area for good temperature distribution.   I have yet to determine how close.  This does remove a fair amount of space on the top shelf.

I know there are some here that would place the blame solely on me for placing beer in such a hard to get to area, but in my defense, I would argue it could just have well have happened with pickle jars or ketchup.

So anyway, check out your fridge food distribution.  It may be causing issues you are unaware of.

Be thankful you have Bill Gray's up in upstate NY.

I fantasize about their burgers more than a sane person should.

I couldn't understand the Bill Gray's mention until your post.  It suddenly occurred to me they were talking about the place across from the windmills.  I never knew there was more than one and they even had them in Buffalo.  Today I learned.

Edit.  Looks like today I also learned both locations in Buffalo are closed permanently according to internet info.

Then you could always point to embarrassingly cheap things he did...........like getting beaten by the ***** Montreal Alouettes of the CFL for #1 overall pick Tom Cousineau.

I have seen the supposed story of this posted at TBD more than once.  In my opinion it just doesn't ring true.  It fits the Ralph is cheap narrative, although I am not sure how much Ralph was involved in it, but I just don't think it happened that way.

Oddly enough, long term, think of what that really meant to the Bills.

Remember it is fast food. There is no place in these parts that resembles Anderson's. I smother it in the au juus and throw lots of black pepper on it. Then, I follow it up with vanilla custard. I pretty much only eat like this up in Williamsville.

Btw in terms of price, a few months ago I went to Nathan's and had 2 hot dogs and a small coke. It cost me $11.50. I'm not making this up. I am not a cheap person by any means but doesn't that seem excessive?

$5.50 for a small coke does seem excessive.😲

I put this in the SB at a bad time. The question is---What is more offensive, talking with your hands, or nodding your head up and down or back and forth with every word. I find them both extremely offensive.

How offensive do you find finger gestures? 🙄

I have seen several mentions of going to the Canadian side.  Do they still require a passport or an Enhanced Drivers License to go there?   Do they accept out-of-state drivers licenses?

I don't do this any more, but when I was an intern my grocery bill for the entire week was $25 bucks

Rice and chickpeas and a type of green veggie was my dinner for almost a year. PB and J for lunch. I remember once I went out and spent 10 bucks on a burger and was worried for a week I'd have enough money for the week

    pay your interns folks

I'm surprised that the pay is so low, as I had no idea who is making what in a hospital.  I assume you were an intern in a hospital.

What I have never understood is the hours they make you work. You know if I am in need of care, I definitely want someone in training who is usually dead tired working on me.  Why beat the hell out of you?  I would have thought hospitals would not do this based on liability.

This is what I thought everyone was already talking about doing.

Although, I'm almost positive there is a valve in the handle/nozzle that prevents any gas from actually coming out when doing this.

I would have thought the valve is in the handle, so raising the hose did nothing,  but when in doubt, google.

    TRADE

The Arizona Cardinals send their 1st (#16) and 2nd (#49) in 2021, and their 1st and 3rd in 2020 to Cincinnati for the #6 overall pick in 2021.

With the 6th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals select, Penei Sewell, Offensive Lineman, Oregon.

The Detroit Lions and @Reed83HOFare on the clock.

Arizona was thinking seriously about trading down to stock up on picks, but a player of this caliber was too enticing to pass up. This pick addresses a need on the Cardinals line, protects Murray's blind side, and allows the Cardinals to compete for the NFC West title for years to come.

Would this be the highest payout ever to draft a Offensive lineman??

His irresponsible behavior affects the lives of millions; yet we pay him top dollar (and bennies) to work 15 hours per/week. Sad commentary on our society.

15 hrs/week?   I heard he doesn't like to work overtime.
