  1. Check off Vet Safety backup off the list. Will take a rookie at some point in the draft
  2. I think the idea is to move DeWayne Carter to 1T. He’ll provide better pass rush as a 1 than a 3 and he was solid in the run game before his injury
  3. People really need to catch up with the times in salaries. A rotational piece on a DL that plays a lot will get around this salary. I don’t think Bosa or Ogunjobi changes much at all. They will still draft a DE and a DT most likely fairly high in the draft. If the draft plays out the way they want it I think this might be the end of the road for Epenesa and/or Jones
  4. Yea I agree this doesn’t change anything draft wise. It’s funny right here you quoted I said the same thing about Carter going to the 1T instead of the 3 for the same reasons. I think Beane saw the dominance of Philly and is like okay we’re just going to go with that model
  5. That’s usually what happens with guys who stop the run unless he’s getting TFLs or Sacks Dlineman don’t get a lot of clout. I wonder if the idea is to work Carter some at 1T. Before the injury Carter looked solid stacking and shedding guys in the run game.
  6. Yea in a 4-3 with the Bengals like I said. The highlights being shown of his sacks are with the Steelers which was one a year. That was the joke
  7. I like the highlights that are showing his one sack a year lol. The player and cost is fine. It’s interesting that they are bringing him in. He’s played in both a 4-3 and a 3-4. Hoecht has also done both and the same for Bosa. Are we becoming a multiple defense? He had his best sack numbers in a 4-3 as a 3 tech. I wonder if the idea is to make Carter both a 3 and a 1 as the last DL on the roster. Lotta questions on fit for this one but they obviously have a plan
  8. I think Beane will wait until after the draft to make sure they get a DE they like in the draft then move Epenesa for a 26 pick
  9. Its one year so that 12 million will be available next year again
  10. I think Buffalo will probably use most draft picks. Getting younger has to be the goal. Now obviously they will fill some of these in FA still but really right now they could feasibly draft 1 WR 1 TE 1 IOL 1-2 DEs 2 DTs 1 LB 2 CBs 2 S Thats 12 spots I see kind of open right now and that doesn’t include QB if you want a young PS guy, a RB , and a Punter to compete with Camarda. I see them trading one for a future pick because as it sits right now they have 6 next year
  11. I think it’s Epenesa who is gonna be going if they add another DE in the draft which I would classify as highly likely
  12. Hoecht is a DE in this system and with his and Bosa coming aboard, I wonder where this leaves Epenesa. With such a lack of pass rushers on the market and Epenesa under a very reasonable deal for one more year I’m curious what he could fetch. We are still going to take at least one DE in the draft
  13. You want pass rush, your getting it…..inserted joke
  14. Im pretty sure that Buffalo has tried all avenues. I’m sure they called Garrett and got rebuffed , there was a report they called on Crosby, if those are to be believed, you have to believe they called on Hendrickson. This is honestly probably option D
  15. They are def going DT or CB at 30 now. Still think they add a DE at some point in the draft though. On another point it’s crazy he’s only 29. A lot of his injuries have been weird ones too
  16. It’s one year, a lot less risk in it than giving a 6 year deal to Miller. I thought Bosa would get a multi year deal
  17. Geez hopefully he can return to form but you want pass rush your getting it with Hoecht and Bosa. Couple white dudes getting after it
  18. No Kaiir Elam option 😉
  19. DeAndre Hopkins to the Ravens 1 year 6 million. I think he’s washed personally but I hope he takes some reps away from Bateman who looked like he was starting to break out
  20. 2 years 5 million is apparently the numbers
  21. This is what I’m saying. Evans and Gore are most likely a nothing burger, Cook is on his last year, Johnson got two years but really it could have an out after one. If the value is there in round 6 they should consider it
  22. Im not arguing that fact I’m just prefacing that there will be value in taking a RB late in the draft versus other positions and I could see Beane adding a guy if he’s at the top of the board. These guys look beyond just next season when drafting. Johnson may have gotten two years but it might only be a 1 year deal for all we know
  23. It’s not like it’s a must have anymore so other poster is right in a sense but there are going to be some good RBs available still late in the draft imo so I’m not against it plus RBs get hurt a lot
  24. Good for Ty glad to have him back, I would still take a RB in the 5th or 6th now
  25. Yup unfortunate but we also got lucky that Settle had a big year because Hollins ended up qualifying which would have taken one of the 5ths away
