  1. interesting point. Robinson's achievement in that era may be more impressive in some repects but he wasn't put into a position of authority. That's the clincher.
  2. I really can not wait for a the reaction sometime next year when Michelle officially wins the nomination. It's what Burroughs called Naked Lunch, when everbody sees what's really at the end of the fork.
  3. Black Rock thank you very much. And factually on the wane and not embraced are both true. We just witnessed it in NY and Wisconsin. And while the real power and money behind the astroturf movement continually attempt to change the rules of the game with activist judges and influence peddling they are fighting a losing battle. Changing demographics and all. I consider the teabagger movement the last dying fart from the corpse of conservatism.
  4. oh come on! While these two symbiotic felchers are most deserving of a decent dress-down that's the best you can do?
  5. So you all are of the opinion that the bagger philosophy of socio-conservative fundamentalist retardation is fully embraced by a majority of Americans. That's right keep telling yourselves that.
  6. I have no doubt the federal response to Katrina will cement that legacy. http://m.youtube.com/watch?gl=US&hl=en&client=mv-google&v=RO2xi0uLnj8 http://m.youtube.com/watch?gl=US&hl=en&client=mv-google&v=Q7p-wHvuXk8
  7. What's your opinion of Pew polls Tom? And please don't say they stink. http://people-press.org/2011/08/09/views-of-tea-party-supporters-in-congress-grow-more-negative/
  8. what will happen is he will throw up a couple posts claiming to be a great independent while I'm just one of the liberal sheeple. He will throw in a post with the words "pot" and "kettle" or variations of such for emphasis while from there degrading into some final blather about whatnot and whosits. I don't know...it's a very tired road
  9. yeah I have to modestly admit that bit about La Bills Thomas Paine costumes was a good one on my part.
  10. There is absolutely nothing in this survey that anyone with half a brain hadn't already figured out about the baggers two years ago, most notably all white and all social conservative/republican....but currently more despised than atheists and muslims!! Politically "toxic"! Comparable to sixties Nam protestors in the negative opinions held of them from mainstream America! No wonder nobody has heard from LaBills here in awhile. Probably busy burning his halloween costumes.
  11. It's coming from all sides and I doubt she would want it any other way. It plays right into her hands.
  12. you do realize he is right.
  13. http://mobile.nytimes.com/2011/08/17/opinion/crashing-the-tea-party.xml
  14. I long for the days when nigra chillun were only playing midnite basketball.
  15. boy, these two will really rivet the electorate. I also hear David Duke is considering again.
  16. I'm sure the denizens of PPP can grasp the global significance of America electing an African American for president the same way they can relate to George W Bush's profound statement of mission accomplished. I know my fellow poster OC can.
  17. ha ha. Cheers mate! Maybe the hypnotoad finally got to me on some subliminal level.
  18. who else is going espouse her views and be that entertaining dointg it?
  19. "elitist attitude" against Bachmann is what is going to win her the nomination. Her transparency is a plus among her core supporters. Everything about her is pretty much out there already so there will be no surprises when the primaries kick off. Her views are pretty well known and sync well with prevailing conservative attitudes. As a Bachmann supporter I believe the only thing that can stop her is if she veers from her core "beliefs" and becomes a Romney or even worse a Huntsman. I don't think that's going to happen.
  20. Christmas at Tux? You know you were a lot more coherent when you were drunk in Philly.
  21. Not just Kerry either. I'm sure if the democrats had chosen anybody that person would have been infinetely superior to Bush, even a used car salesman like Edwards. Unfortunately we found that out the hard way as Bush turned out to be the worst president in anyones lifetime. One thing Bush was better at tho was a wearing a cod piece on a big boat with a big banner behind him. No one could ever beat him at that.
  22. Kerry was superior to Bush in every quantifiable measure that exists_ and even some that don't. Just as Obama is vastly superior to the tossers that the republican party has shat out this election cycle.
  23. I thought their was no way George W Bush was going to be re-elected in 2004. Never doubt the power of incumbancy especially with the weak and strange GOP field of candidates.
  24. there is no way the conservative base is going to rally around Romney. They tried that with McCain and are still upset about that. As for Perry all you have to say is Texas and governor and there goes that campaign. Michelle will have this wrapped up by next february. Her strange unflappability on Meet the Press this morning proves nothing phases her. I think that is what the base wants.
  25. Bachmann's nomination to lose. All the negative media attention she will continue to receive will not stop her. The Republican etablishment is probably wondering what is going on?
