  1. Really? You people are being negative after this win? rofl.
  2. I guess you haven't watched any of the other games played by other teams this year.
  3. Message up at http://www.raiders.com
  4. lol, trust me, I hate that name.
  5. Rumor is Big 12 wants Louisville to replace Mizzou. If they decide to expand to 12, they'll go after BYU.
  6. Looks like it'll be Louisville for #10 if Mizzou leaves.
  7. Sadly, not this year. I have to travel for work, and it'd be hell going to that game then leaving. I doubt we'll win it, but I hope we'll keep it close and have a chance at the end!
  8. To put some context around 3.9 YPC: 10 of the 17 plays (58.8%) went for 3 yards or less. In the second half, 6 of 9 rushing plays (66.6%) went for 3 yards or less. 5 of 9 (55.5%) went for 2 or less. Compare this to Fitzpatrick's 5.8 Yards Per Attempt that he finished the game with, and I would have been passing too.
  9. NFL Rules require a majority owner.
  10. Fred Jackson: 17 carries, 3.9 YPC. I wouldn't have run the ball in the 4th quarter either.
  11. Porn slappers!
  12. http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/colleges/big-12-presidents-approve-revenue-sharing-if-schools-grant-tv-rights/2011/10/03/gIQAfVFYIL_story.html The equal revenue sharing for tier-1 and tier-2 revenue rights passed a president vote. Big 12 looking more and more like it's going to survive.
  13. Texas Time and OU Still Sucks.
  14. Where's the "I don't mind it" option without the judgement that it's overkill?
  15. Personally, I saw the Bills physically and schematically dominate during large sections of three football games, and then come out flat in the 2nd half versus Cincinnati, and let a Bengals team punch them right in the mouth on both lines. There are problems: we still can't cover TEs, and we have some issues in the secondary. However, I wouldn't exactly say the Bills have been fortunate, they've been winning 1x1 battles a lot of the time that in past years they would have lost the entire game, and as a result they've got some good wins.
  16. Really? The main reason we lost was that and not the offensive line getting manhandled in the second half, failing to open up holes in the running game, and as a result forcing us to air it out with a QB having an off day? Not to mention our defense failing to stop the run in the 2nd half and the inability to cover Gresham.
  17. By law they aren't allowed to touch you, hence they move out of your way.
  18. Haven't seen this mentioned, btw: http://espn.go.com/college-sports/story/_/id/6918208/texas-aggies-had-chance-partner-longhorn-network-deloss-dodds-says
  19. ctrl+0 will take you back to default
  20. Our biggest problem is going to be Hernandez and Gronkowski. When's the last time we've successfully stopped 1 great TE, let alone 2? Both KC's & Oakland's backup TEs had good chances on us. And neither of them are nearly as talented or athletic as these two. If I was the Pats*, I'd run 12 and 02 personnel all game. I can't see us being able to stop their tight ends. Does anyone really trust our LBs or Safeties to be able to cover those guys? Barnett maybe able to keep up sometimes, but I can't see our other guys being able to run with them. I just can't see this Bills team being well enough at covering to stop a shotgun, 3 wr, 2 te set with welker, gronkowski, and hernandez inside, and ocho/branch stretching us down the field. IMO, Pats* win that one all day. Sadly I think its ugly given the potential matchup problems.
  21. ESPN reporting this now: http://espn.go.com/college-sports/story/_/id/6989288/pac-12-working-deal-texas-oklahoma-oklahoma-state-texas-tech-according-source
  22. Rumor I'm hearing is the Pac-12 caved in negotiations and Texas & Friends are headed there, possibly extremely soon. Specifically: - Texas keeps the Longhorn Network - There will be some Pac-16 programming on the Longhorn Network - Texas keeps all proceeds from the LHN, unless 1/16 the other TV revenue is worth more than the LHN, then it all gets divided up evenly among the teams. - OU, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma State will all join with Texas. Rumored structure is a pod system, with Texas, OU, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma State in a "Heartland Pod". Structure would be you play everyone in your mod each year, and two teams from every other pod, with 4 pods to make up the 16 teams. Statesman is reporting the same thing: http://www.statesman.com/blogs/content/shared-gen/blogs/austin/longhorns/entries/2011/09/18/official_potent.html
  23. That double reverse takes so long to setup, we should have had someone back there disrupting it.
  24. I love all the Raiders fans on their forum whining about pentalties, thinking they're losing this game beacuse the refs are rigging it
