  1. You, sir, are king of the internet.
  2. Switch to Satellite/TV over IP?
  3. I'll believe it when I see it, as history shows those voters are unreliable as all hell, especially after a huge primary turnout.
  4. Yeah, you're right, in a more open format of debating McCain would likely win. I think its a lot closer than that. Right now, McCain needs just one more state to flop sides (like Minnesota, for example), and he'll be up in the electoral count. The most important current statistic is that Independents are split into 1/3rds between McCain, Obama, and Undecided. Obama needs to make sure the Independents break for him in a large way.
  5. I, too, wasn't impressed when I saw Obama debate Clinton. I also wasn't impressed by McCain in the GOP debates.
  6. McCain's strength is the town hall-style debate, which is one of the reasons why the media has loved him so much over the years. It would be no shock that he did well in this format. However, in a 1-on-1 debate where they can respond to each other, it will be no shock when he loses those.
  7. Yes, folks, big shock here: Neither candidate gives a rats ass about you, and they are both full of sh--. In the latest Rolling Stone, an article about this year's campaign finance. Continue to feel good about voting for Obama or McCain, though.
  8. Having a long record of being a maverick in Washington, by definition, means you are a Washington Insider that can, at times, go against the grain. Claiming you are a "Washington Outsider" means you are a completely different type of politician from what we've currently got.
  9. No. And? Particularly funny given quote #1. You mean like.... http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showt...3&hl=McCain http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showt...6&hl=McCain http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showt...1&hl=McCain There's a reason why I don't blast McCain much on this board: There isn't anyone who is completely and utterly infatuated with McCain the way the libs on this board are with Obama. Particularly funny given quote #3.
  10. Oh, you mean like how Obama changed his position on offshore drilling?
  11. Obviously you don't. If you did, you wouldn't have needed to make this post, would you? Very good. Now, take into account the Washington Insider rhetoric, along with the changing the culture of Washington rhetoric. Ah, but he doesn't paint himself as a Washington outsider now does he? He paints himself as a governmental reformer against lobbying interests. Hmm... Washington Outsider vs Washington Insider. Yep, they have the same context, don't they? The issue is not the changing of positions (Obama's change was a good one). The issue here is he's claimed he's a Washington outsider and different from everyone currently in Washington when he's clearly not. Plz see quote above.
  12. He scored higher on the wonderlic than our good friend? Read quote in thread title. Compare to actions. Read campaign messages. Compare messages to McCain. Understand difference.
  13. yap, still fun to laugh at plz 2 understand difference between campaigning on new poltick and old politick.
  14. Wut a wuss
  15. What if I start 22 rookies? I can't lose 22 games!
  16. Commie Commie traitor to our country
  17. Policy-wise perhaps, but I'm convinced we'll never get an accurate portrait of the candidate's personality/leadership style/knowledge/etc.
  18. Webster isn't injured yet?
  19. I'd disagree, I think its possible to get a much better picture of the state of things than most people do, but since we peons won't have the information that the politicians do, we won't ever get an accurate picture of reality.
  20. Has anyone seen the episode of squidbillies with Truck Nuts? Its this one: http://video.aol.com/partner/amazon/the-good-one/B00159I0RK
  21. Is it possible for the people to know reality?
  22. Pretty much.
  23. What's a windfall profit tax anyway?
