  1. I guess my concern about defemsive end is as follows: While I have been a fan of Schobel's, and think he will continue to do well, we have watched his best. Likewise, IMHO, we have seen the best we can get out of Denney and Kelsey, they are what they are. I dont see any upside, I see downside. If we have the opportunity to get a pass rusher early(like Harvey) it seems like the second round will have quite a few wr's to choose from that have value. So given the choice, i'll take Harvey and a second round WR rather than, let's say, M.Kelly and a second round defensive end.
  2. And my earlier response to you was as follows: The film concludes with scrolling messages reading in part: "The government insists that you respect Islam, but Islam has no respect for you" and "In 1945, Nazism was defeated in Europe. In 1989, communism was defeated in Europe. Now the Islamic ideology has to be defeated." Again, The film used only excerpts from The Koran to spread fear, hate and misunderstanding. (Just as one can easily do with The Bible) The vast majority of Muslims reject extremism and violence.
  3. Don't leave out our fellow Christians while your worrying about terrible violence that might happen: When extremists from predominantly Moslem countries commit violence, many in the media refer to them as "Islamic terrorists." Why did no one call the Oklahoma City bombing suspects "Christian terrorists"? The militias investigated were called simply "right-wing" and "anti-government," but these hate groups, like the Ku Klux Klan, all have bible-based agendas. Timothy McVeigh is a Catholic. The Oklahoma City bomb was detonated on the anniversary of the raid on David Koresh's Christian militia in Waco.
  4. Thanks for taking another one of your obligatory dumps. Feel better now?
  5. Your retreating into vagueness.

  7. ESPN's John Clayton reports the Vikings have reached an agreement in principle with free agent QB Gus Frerotte. Like the Bears, Minnesota is aiming low for their pass game, which is bad news for Sidney Rice's value. The Vikes are likely to continue looking for quarterbacks in the draft, but Frerotte has a shot at playing time as long as it's just Tarvaris Jackson ahead of him on the depth chart. The Vikings' situation this season could force him into playing time this year. Looks like Sage Rosenfels will stay put in Houston. Apr. 2 - 10:23 am
  8. Tater: Happy Birthday!! I'll always think of you as someone older than me.
  9. I'll even take a *maybe* 10 sacks a year, be it Harvey or someone else. 2007 Schobel 6.5 sacks Kelsay 2.5 sacks Denney 1.0 sacks(in 7 games) Improvement is a must IMHO.
  10. I don't hate my religion. I am only keenly aware that one could easily take passages from The Bible (of which of course there are many translations) and by translating them literally, use them as propaganda against us to spread hate, fear and misunderstanding.
  11. I would actually say that every great player has had a bad game. So again we disagree.
  12. Here's a reply you should understand. "Don't judge a player by one game in their entire college career."
  13. Is that somehow related to the fact that Boselli dominated him?
  14. In a earlier discussion on Harvey, pro and con, someone brought up the same Long/Harvey game. Another posters response was quite fitting: " If you looked at Bruce Smith's games against Tony Boselli (and how Boselli generally dominated him) would you then not want Smith on your team?"
  15. Agreed on both Losman/Edwards extremes. What's the old saying? "You are what you hate?" The extremes on both sides see too much of themselves in each other.
  16. Your contribution to this is certainly nothing out of the ordinary for you. A complete thought? Negative That you were able to string 23 words together.......priceless!
  17. May you live long enough to sh*t yourself! Happy Birthday!!
  18. Article on April Fools Jokes by the Sabres Paul Wieland Remember these?
  19. Is your post some type of joke? If so, I don't get it.
  20. Nice job Steely Dan, you sure got everyones blood boiling this morning! (including mine) I wouldn't have wanted to lose a draft pick, especially if the Jags would have drafted Taro Tsujimoto with it!
  21. I have a feeling you might be his client #9.
  22. I certainly wouldn't expect you to add anything of substance to this thread. Then again, have you ever to any thread?
  23. And Fitna was an attack on? Answer here___________________. Can you follow that? Or was that too complex?
  24. Christians ,rioting and making death threats or condoning murders of innocent people? This forum isn't big enough to list the carnage & barbarity that have taken place in the name of Christ. Welcome to the grown up world pal, where the world isn't flat and the world wasn't actually created in 7 days. By the way, I am a Christian and have spent much time educating you Noah Ark believers that its better to look for common ground with other religions than to look for perceived differences. If you seriously looked at the quotes from The Bible that I listed, you could clearly see that Muslims could actually use them to spread hate and fear also.
