Yes, it was treacherous in the 300s.  The stairs were a death trap.  A few of the many folks that fell shook the entire concrete structure.  They may want to do an integrity study on the upper deck again, it may be compromised.

Yep. Felt it several times. Then they did something one the scoreboard about dancing in your seats!  Shook a bit more than I liked! 😆

    How dare he!!!

Everyone said they should have done a better job, but was that even possible? How do you move feet of snow from hundreds of rows in 12 hours? We're lucky this game wasn't played in Atlanta and should pray they clear the next lake snow blast in time

Send crews during the game and clean as much as possible on the steps.

My sections usher is awesome!  Super great dude! Dude struggled to shovel a little, then they sent him up with a full bag of salt and he tried his hardest, but couldn’t do it by himself.

I got there was a lot of snow and not a lot of time. But hire a large enough crew and you can get almost anything done.

  3. Appreciate the sentiment, Terry.

I loved being there.  Absolute poop show on the stands, but happy I was there!

Gotta be a bit critical though. Sit on the end and spent most of the game grabbing peoples hands and arms helping them up the stairs, passing them off to the guy behind me.  Bunch of people with canes who barely could make it up. Bunch of people 2-3 fisting drinks and just falling all over.  Got smacked a dozen or so time by idiots who chose to slide on their butts rather than navigate the steps.

They had to do a better job with the steps. Dangerous. Many people fell, a buch pretty hard.  I get the amount of snow, but dang…multi billion dollar business and you can’t afford to hire a crew to come in and do a better job?

All right, I’ll get off my old guy soapbox….😎

  4. A lot of good plays.

Elam int because it kept them off the board. Shakir TD was just fun to watch. My choice is the Josh run. You could feel the massive boost in energy in the stadium and loved watching the teams reaction!

  5. Great win!

A little tough going in the middle.

Josh looked really good all game, seemed very determined.  Cook was excellent. Shakir is going to be something special.

The stands were awful in my section.  Foot and a half snow on our seats.  Kinda weird what was cleared and what was not. Wasn’t so bad clearing the snow.  Worst was the aisle steps. Packed snow, people slipping and a few falls.

Everest? Nah, just try navigating upper deck steps with a bunch of drunks going whichever way! Next time I’m hiring a Sherpa!

No, I think it's just pretty much going to be the insult.

    LOL

But in fairness, the whole experience of going over there when the place is empty, probably deal with some odd office that you would never be inside, and so on, is kind of the "cool stadium experience" if you know what I mean.

I guess you have to be 18 years old, which is a shame.

This is the perfect gig for kids.  I would have been all over this if I could have gotten out to the stadium somehow when I was 13, 14, 15, 16....the money is good at that age and it's a fun, cool experience.

I can imagine filling the place with about 10,000 kids...and the PR value of that would be great.  "WNY youth bail out community with selfless hard work and showing the world the WNY way" and what not.

Just have to avoid slipping into the "Pegula is running a sweat shop with child labor" angle.

    LMAO

I'm thinking all seats will be available come kickoff, but maybe that's wrong.

About half of all lot parking space is taken with snow...so that's going to be a huge issue.

They should be running city metro buses to the stadium from a huge parking area that people can get to and isn't under 3 feet of snow, if such a place exists.  Like if you can get to Amherst UB campus, park there, and a bus will go every 10 minutes to the stadium or something...no parking needed, at least at the stadium.

If snow is EVERYWHERE around WNY, that won't work obviously.

Shuttles would help.  Unless you tailgate.  Hopefully plenty of parking, got some wings to grill!

I'm guessing it's going to be a LOT more below capacity than I would have originally guessed.

I thought maybe 3,000 empty seats due to weather/events.

Now, it might be 10,000 or more.

Sucks people can’t be there, but on the flip side it may help alleviate parking and seating issues.  People will most likely gravitate to empty seats if theirs are snow packed.

I assume they took the photo of the stadium this morning. They were looking for people to start shoveling 9 hours ago (12 midnight), but I don’t see any workers in the photo. And oh, they also said that they were going to limit the amount of shovelers to 200. Interesting...

One would think more the better.

Gotta have enough shovels, and those tubes to take the snow to the field.  One would think they’d have plenty of equipment and have several teams moving snow.

After the week 18 win, I tried to register on the Dolphins forum.  My intent was to show good sportsmanship and congranulate them for a good season.

I didn't want to be a troll so used my same moniker, longtimebillsfan.

Well, after waiting a week I tried to log in and received this message:

"Your registration has been denied for the following reason: Get lost"

    LMAO.

    What a classless fan base.

You should read their posts.  They have already given up on next season.

I don't expect this post to get much traction, but I just wanted to share my experience with my fellow Billls fans.

    Go Bills!

    Take care of the Steelers.

Did you attempt to use a screen name with “Bills” in it?  My guess they figured out you were a Bills fan.

Maybe use something like “McDanielsFanBoy”.  😂😂😂. I’m sure that fan base would love that name!  Maybe you’d get in with that!

We got hit by a few at the dolphins game last year. Had to clear snow off seat and aisle then as well.

Upper deck from the Bills stadium pic looks better than I’d thought.  Lower bowl is a disaster still.  Expect to clean our seats, or end up standing maybe.

Overall, for as much snow that fell looks pretty dang good!
