Please point to where is the aging at exactly?

Their top corner who looks to be a stand out is/was a rookie

Christian Barmore their D-end who came on the last few years was drafted in 21

    Kevion white another D-end

    Was drafted in 2023

    Jabril peppers 28yr

Kyle Dugger strong Stafety drafted 2020(27yr)

Josh Uche LB. Drafted 20. (25 yes  old)

Not going to go through the whole roster, that would be wild, but went through some noticeably names on defense just now.

LB and Dline have some older guys.

Just not a team that is on the cusp of being good/great. Personally I’d rather take a job with a team that is closer to being good.

And who is the GM? Gotta be with a guy you can mesh with.

Have they lined up Vrabel and someone he trusts?  Who knows.  After what happened in Tennessee, I’m sure he doesn’t want that again.

I would think you get the qb before the wr but that is just me.   Guys like cousins and Wilson will be available but also a good draft for qb. Of course it’s always a crap shoot

I agree. But if a “generational” WR like Harrison is on the board? Very difficult not to want to wrap up top WR for many years to come.

That defense is not aging.  Vrabel has already said he wants to coach in NE.(should they choose him)

And a top 3 pick is still a top 3 pick.

    Not young.

Yep, top 3 pick is a top 3 pick. Would rather bill be making the pick!

Still, not a team you insert a successful top pick and now you are a competitive team. No QB.  Not the greatest WR’s or RB’s.  Don’t believe they are super attractive to a veteran HC.  Maybe Vrabels heart stings are pulled to go there?  Maybe.  But a competitive guy like him who was thrown to the street the way he was in Tennessee, maybe he wants the least restrictive path to coaching a very good team.

NE is a good opportunity in terms of picks and cap....there is a lot of cap available for them to build a team and a high pick for a QB.  Maybe somewhere that has a QB could be thought of as better.  I do agree on the shadow thing but I think Vrabel is one who maybe can handle that.

This makes 6 coaches fired in the division since McDermott took over.

NE may have picks and cap, but no QB and an aging defense.  Could land a good WR with high pick, but what about QB?  Even if they pick someone no guarantee they are any good.

Attractive to a new HC probably, not an experienced like Vrabel.

  5. Not surprised.  Get while the getting is good.  Wonder if he already has a place to land?

Not a lock replacement is Vrabel. If hoodie has an axe to grind with ownership, I could see him telling Vrabel not to take the job. Also, Vrabel will probably go to highest bidder/best chance to win. NE is not the best chance to win right now.  Seattle may be.

Yes, belichick may have done great things as a coach.  And just like Tommy, their accomplishments will always be tainted. Just like Sosa, McQwire and Bonds he will always have an asterisks on his accomplishments.

  6. Pete said “I competed hard to be the head coach”.

Looks like he was forced out, yet amicable.

I still remember Pete when he was with the Jets, running down the sideline at the Ralph giving Thurman the choke sign. Haven't been a fan since that day.

Disliked him after that for years. Changed for me after some time, seemed like a decent dude, a players coach for sure.

  7. Refused to watch until this episode.

Man. McDaniels is insufferable. That schtick is wearing thin, you can see it on the faces of the players.  His F bombs are brutal, almost like a skinny, twerp trying to be cool.

I do love how we have owned them in the past years! Most likely helped when the momentum swung.  Kinda like “here we go again”.

  8. Glad to see he is doing well!

Tough to see someone go through something like this, hopefully he will do nothing but improve!

My wife had a stroke at 49 and I understand the intense rehab it takes to get to the place he is at. Never know what you are capable of until you face adversity.

  9. It’s easy to break down tape where microseconds can be frozen to prove a point. Yes, Josh may need to keep on a read a little longer, especially when he is “sugar high” Josh. A few of those examples looked too fast even though they were slowed down/frozen.

I do agree Josh needs more quick options. When the pass rush is killing you either have a quick slant or run a screen.  Seems it took too long for them to adjust to the pass rush last game.

Don't think (and certainly hope so as well) that Brady has earned the spot already.

The odds of the best man available for the position just happened to be already on staff in Buffalo are about ZERO.

But b/c of McDimwit who will always put himself and his career ahead of all other things, he'll want to retain someone like Brady b/c he won't offer any opposition to MCDimwith in the locker room.

There will probably be a good OC become available....hire that a guy.

There could be firings concerning teams in the playoffs. Give it some time.

Unless he lands a HC job, I’d be surprised if Brady isn’t the Bills OC next year. Feel he’s done well and can only get better with a full offseason to implement his offense.

Feel he is more in tune with players skills than Dorsey.

thanks… I saw the blood and thought it may have been more serious… like a compound fracture in one of his fingers … glad it’s not that bad ,,,

Never know, just going by what was reported.  They did tape it pretty heavily although if the stitches are on an area that flexes a lot, heavy bandaging is needed.

He did go back out and play, so doubt it’s very serious.

Brady stealing this play has got us to the playoffs. It's such a no brainer once its out there. Dorsey's shotgun draws were insufferable.

I also like the reduction in number of plays trying to draw teams Offside with Josh barking at the LOS.  Rather see them tush push the bobsled then watch that worn out play.

Honestly, I think Shakir could fill the role himself. I know most people would rather keep him in the slot, but I believe he could do the job as a #2

I also would like to see Shakir in the role.  Not sure his body size is suited to anything other than slot.  Don’t see him making the great sideline catches we have seen Gabe make.  Or disappear like Gabe has….

  14. The defense played a whale of a game.

Yes, gave up some serious yards early on rushes, but clamped down.  If I am seeing this right, we held them to 47 yards on 5 drives in the 2nd half.

Did not let them score a point after halftime and allowed our offense to find themselves and win the game.

A truly great game!  Score not reflective of how badly we beat them in the 2nd half.
