  1. Be mindful that Comrade Kay may be looking for you, after study hall but before detention for smoking in the girls room. If she yells something about imperialism, it'll be on! (just messing with you & CKA--I get where you're coming from here and the best we can hope from the sidelines is less---less death, less fighting, less slaughter of innocents, less hatred, less ongoing conflict and less American involvement)>
  2. RIP Kemp's Political Instincts 3/21/2023 - 3/22/2023 "..when the dust settles.."
  3. That's not a guy Frank, that's Susan Collins, Fergie's paramour and l'amour de sa vie. It's probably the hair style that threw ya.
  4. You’re correct, I wasn’t at the shootings either. It wasn’t a dodge, silly wabbit, I was commenting on the crazy nature of people who shoot and kill politicians when you, not me, introduced the 1/6 rioters. I thought maybe you got yourself turned around as you tend to do. I just wanted to be sure you knew what was what. In addition to you being confused about who was where and when, I answered your question. You probably missed that too. As for beating the **** out cops, yes, I agree that’s crazy…though I bet you’re pretty inconsistent on your care and concern for LEOs being targeted as most extremist liberals are. I’ve noted your comments on Trump pardoning Phil Spector, dead though he may be. Let’s keep an eye on that.
  5. I wasn’t at the Capitol, Tibsy but think it’s moderately crazy to be at any of these events. However I would characterize stalking and assassinating political figures and health co CEOs as more crazy than most, if not all, of the J6 defendants. Or for that matter most of the protestors from the King Me rallies riots of yesterday. We’re 2 for 2 today. Agreed.
  6. I agree with you, Frank. When we step back from these events just a bit, the common denominator is crazy. These people step well outside the standards of ‘normal’ behavior and do abhorrent things. The biggest challenge is post-analysis coverage. Each report on who/what they did or who they supported should start with a disclaimer: Just a quick note—this person is crazy, and when all is said and done, crazy drove them to murder. Crazy before. Crazy while committing the act. Crazy after.
  7. You’re a teacher. Who wants someone stopping the action mid-banger, bringing out the white board and drawing diagrams and whatnot. It’s offputting, Orlando, and if you’re grading on a curve…. All allegedly, of course.
  8. A couple thoughts here. First, tragic outcome for the family and our political system. I’ve been against the death penalty for a long time, but should this perpetrator end up shot dead in the street it would be ok with me. Second, most definitely time to NOT jump to conclusions. Could be a right wing scumbag looking to start something, could be a left wing scumbag like Mangione looking to appeal to people who support this sort of thing, and all sorts of misdirection is potentially in play. Third…the facts of the shooting are precisely the reason the dopey senators stunt from this past week was so foolish. These days, assuming anything about anyone is not very unwise.
  9. @Joe Ferguson forever get this to Sen Kaine and his wife next time you see him at one of those “Keys in a Basket” party you bored rich folk like. Just a different perspective on speaking the truth.
  10. I had heard rumors about one person doing something crazy in 2016, and remember thinking if it was true, it was probably @bringmedaheadofjoanjett. I’m glad this has been cleared up.
  11. St. Augustine is the South Central for wealthy retired white folk, I hear. That other vehicle may well have been the Tommy Bahama crew and had you pegged for Versace all day long. Next thing you know, sh-t goes sideways and there’s botox and high end hair extensions everywhere.
  12. In no particular order… Yes. Most likely. I’m not so sure about that… Dammit, no, not this time. Says you.
  13. Mods, please move to The Reliable Media v Alternative Scum please. There, and only there, the truth shall be revealed.
  14. But he’s not being honest, not in the least. This was a political stunt. There’s no reason for a senator to sandbag a political opponent in a meeting like that. As a result, he was perceived a threat, neutralized, and they moved him on to greener pastures. Had Kaine an iota of integrity, he would have acknowledged the foolishness of approaching the stage in an animated and aggressive state and suggested next time…just call first to set a meeting and identify yourself. He may be an MIT whiz kid, but even a humble SUNY grad like me understands basic professional etiquette. Beyond that, It’s pretty obvious what the rank and file voters thought of his sincerity and integrity. Flat out rejection of the policies and character of Clinton and Kaine. Why? He’s a bit like you…lots of hot air but little of substance and always wanting someone else to do the heavy lifting.
  15. Ah..,Tim Kaine…the Tim Walz of the Clinton Presidential Aspiration Team. All I can say here is there was no attempt to shut him up, he was quite vocal the entire time.
  16. My wife has freckles, and I'm glad she does.
  17. The political landscape doesn’t work like that, Ned. We got where we are because of the journey we have taken. It’s dumb to pretend none of that matters.
  18. His lead off was “Hello less hateful world…”? 🤫😂
  19. Presumably not dragged to the ground and cuffed for a foolish stunt at a political briefing.
  20. First of all..."stone cold liar"? What is he, Shaft? Can ya dig it? Second...he's most definitely a politician, he just has to be called on his version of BS. Here's an example where he exposed the world to COVID while implementing strict rules and regulations for the little people of Cali: https://www.cnn.com/2020/11/18/politics/gavin-newsom-french-laundry-california-governor
  21. Well aren’t you a happy camper and spreader of joy today.
