We’re aware of your antipathy for President Obama, and your agreement with the opinion of Mr. Bognino. Do you have an opinion as to the “hoax-based casualty” issue in discussion here? If not, please refrain from distracting those on this forum who have interest in an honest, candid discussion about about this very important question.
-
Not on the topic. But it begs the question? Did Obama rely on magic and the medicinal power of Lysol in an unsuccessful effort to combat a pandemic arising from an airborne virus, and did 200,00 people die as a result of that incompetence? Continue discussion.

Interesting that the right-wingers here enjoy partaking in the discussions of conspiracy theories, racist tropes, and false narratives regarding anyone who disagrees with them. But a nice fact-based discussion about things that are not a hoax (and cause mass death) and things that are a hoax (and that do not cause mass death)? Crickets. That’s a bit different from your prior post. You initially said, and I quote, “actually only 11,000 died from covid19, all the others died from underlying conditions, that is from the CDC.” Now, you have shifted your stance and you appear to acknowledge that the COVID-19 death count of nearly 200,000 is accurate, but that some of those decedents had underlying conditions. Perhaps that is because the CDC data does not support your original (hoax-based) position. So, bottom line, if you can’t do math, it looks like the COVID-19 death count remains much closer to the 200,000 figure than it does to your hoaxy 11,000 number. Continue discussion.

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
SectionC3 replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The problem I have with your logic is that if “we” just acted responsibly at the outset of this mess there’s a very good chance that we would be in a much better position right now. So, unfortunately, because we engaged in half measures, refused to wear masks, and to a certain point dabbled in magic and bleach and direct-to-lung Lysol ideas as potential silver bullets, we may have to go through another shutdown this fall. It absolutely sucks. And I feel terribly for those who will be hurt by it, But it may fall into the “short term pain, long term gain” category. Otherwise we’re just going to be overrun. -
Fake news. https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/index.htm *** There is also this additional piece of real news. The excess death count. Looks pretty ugly from here. https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/excess_deaths.htm Bottom line: COVID-19 is not a hoax. Communist arsonist-caused deaths in democrat-run cities is a hoax. Continue discussion.

Nice. Is that response your new hoax?

180,000 Americans have died as a result of COVID-19. Not a hoax. Also, woke up this morning to discover that democrat-run cities are not burning. So no deaths attributable to communist arsonists there. Looks like that “burning cities” storyline might be a hoax. Bottom line: the COVID-19 “hoax” is actually killing people. The burning cities claim is actually a hoax and is not actually killing people. It’s just meant to distract you from the fact that lower income Americans are facing an economic inflection point based Trump’s decision to rely on magic and the medicinal powers of Lysol to defeat a non-hoax pandemic. It also is meant to distract from the fact that Trump didn’t accomplish his major policy goals (wall, repeal and replace) and, in addition to being a crappy human being, also is a crappy president. Discuss.

This dude deserves it. He believed in poor and underprivileged kids. An American success story. Didn’t get him when I was a kid. Respect the hell out of him as an adult.

Good point. Grandma's nursing home relied on magic to wish the virus away. Oops. We miss Grandma. -
Democrat-run Cities on Fire in Erie County
SectionC3 replied to SectionC3's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Evening update. Two fires in my neighborhood the evening. Can’t confirm that neither fire was started by a communist. One fire saw several children roast marshmallows. Other led to the cooking of hot dogs. Will stay vigilant tonight. More later. -
Domestic terrorist attack in Wisconsin
SectionC3 replied to Penfield45's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Interesting. Didn't see Rusten Sheskey mentioned in there. Did Officer Sheskey know about these issues (not that they would have justified seven shots to the back) when he pulled the trigger? And, if so, how do these independent legal issues justify Officer Sheskey's actions? Looks like the conduct complained of occurred in May 2020 and the criminal complaint with respect to that conduct was filed in July 2020. I don't say this lightly. With the attitude that you've displayed, you are exactly the problem with American law enforcement. -
I'm really sorry that they're upset about Torgalski. I think he's getting jammed up, too. (And the McCabe charge is an even bigger joke.) But they still have to do their jobs. It's that simple. So, like you, I hope they didn't see and subsequently ignore the knife. Not nearly. Way better to hang out with my kids, even on their worst days, than to laugh at you.

No doubt. And that makes sense. But that's also not consistent with "empty the clip" training. And is this the only problem facing law enforcement now? Just a hunch: there's more. Some of them might be addressed well by community policing. -

Sirens abound in OP this afternoon. Have the commies arrived? Or is a cat stuck high in a tree? Updates later. -

Another fire-free night last night. But I may roast marshmallows tonight. Hope to not get shot by gun toting lunatic fearing communist arsonists. (Hopefully) More later. -
Maybe a different president wouldn’t have relied on magic to do the job. Just maybe.

It’s why I try not to quote you. Sometimes, though, it’s just too much fun. Jill Stein says hi. Not the issue. It’s what the fat bastard did and didn’t so that counts. He golfed and ate McNuggets. The nation fell apart. Really he should have just stopped at McDonald’s and swapped jobs with the kid working the drive through. We probably would have been much better off that way.

GOP can’t win elections without cheating
SectionC3 replied to BillStime's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Actually I’m hoping you could identify these crimes. It’s weird that these crimes haven’t been prosecuted yet, despite the passage of about four years. I’m curious to learn of all of these new crimes. I bet not a single one of them is a hoax! -

Which ones? Straight down their scumbag playbook. We should turn Trump impersonators loose on the fools. I’m not kidding. -
I believe at that point we didn’t have enough pizza boxes to make the recommendation viable. Something about the supply chain being a mess because the commander in chief tried to wish away a pandemic instead of acting upon it. So that’s probably why fauci didn’t include that in his “can’t hurt” menu.

Evening update. Heard thunder. May rain. Bad for commies and fire. And for squirrels. Maybe especially for squirrels. But good for law abiding citizens with umbrellas. More later. -
Good point. Recalling those Blake prayers now. He’s only a paraplegic. He can pray for himself.
-
Maybe you should wear an old pizza box on your head then, too. That can’t hurt, either. Assuming “can’t hurt” is your litmus test. Pizza box also likely will smell good and will protect you from rain and guano. It’s a winning idea.

Maybe if they take some hydroxychloroquine their burns will heal more quickly. Or the gunshot wounds won't hurt as much. Of course, Doc will say I'm wrong and insist that it's the combination of hydroxychorloquine AND ZINC that will cure those ailments!
