No, we want Bulaga.
Besides, at something like $200 per ounce, Beluga is way too expensive anyway.
Brian Bulaga at ~312.5 LBS (=5000 ounces) @ 8 million dollars = $1600 per ounce (per season)!
Ouch, pass the caviar instead...

There was a game in recent years where Lee Smith caught a pass (!) and Chandler was blocking his guy, clearing a path for Smith to make a cut and extend the play. Chandler later asked Smith why he did not make that cut, since Chandler had his guy blocked.
Smith's answer: I don't cut.

My wife and I tried living in Florida some years back. Bad idea.
Nice place to visit, but ...
For us now, Florida is "the F word".

There are only so many franchise QBs to go around. Sorry, but we can not all have one.
This year's draft has zero franchise QBs, according to the book of Mel.
I don't know WHO is good at scoping them out in any given draft. A guy could likely make a fortune as a consultant if he could consistently pick franchise QBs out of the college crop.

The truth hurts, eh?

These are just the large-print editions for the aging baby boomer NFL fans.
I hope nobody is paying to have these hideous designs made up.
In most cases, BARF-O!!!
The white Packers and Patriots designs are particularly gross. Steelers? Ewwww.
Houston Oilers again? WTF, did this guy miss the memo?

He looked great filling in when Cutler got hurt. Bears should have kept him instead of Jay!
I don't know much about his situation with the Bucs, though. Probably just a bad team overall.

The article says Martin is 6-foot-6, 250-pound.
Yikes, does he slim down in the off-season? Probably just a typo.

Marrone on being a head coach again: "My focus is on right here."
Michael DiRocco @ESPNdirocco 7m7 minutes ago
Marrone says the Jags lineman all finish plays. Encouraging. Also said it's rare to have everyone do that.
Vito Stellino @vitostellino 8m8 minutes ago
says young linemen all move well and finish...being able to finish is important to marrone.
...being able to finish is important to marrone.
Obviously!
Ya lyin' bas-tid!

How do like this signature from one of the Seahawk fans?
What's Next? What's Next? What's N-X-E-T...?"

I recall rumors that drafting Lynch (and the 4th round RB from Fresno) were Ralph Wilson's doing, some would say meddling, since the GM should make those decisions.
We will never know for sure but I do recall the rumor.

It's kind of morbid, but this is one of the most enjoyable threads I have seen in a long time, relishing the failure of the guy that took a sh&% on the football team we all love. Well, the crapper backed up and blew it back in Doug's face.
This whole episode makes me wonder what made Bill Polian such a Doug Marrone fan. The "former NFL GM" in the linked article sounds like it just has to be Polian.
Could this be a bit of a black eye when Polian's name comes up for Hall of Fame voting?

Gruden just signed a big extension to keep doing MNF.
It certainly beats working 20 hours a day, 7 days a week as an NFL HC.

It's 3 minutes of your life you will never get back...I was thinking the exact same thing...

We should change the title of this thread to leaving Henderson out to dry is Hackett. I read "Hackett is leaving" and I got excited becaus I thought i could refer to Nate Hackett as our former offensive coordinator. Then I read the rest of the title and was disappointed. Again.
"Leaving Henderson out to dry is Hackett"
Now say it in a Yoda voice!

Sanchez seems to have no pocket awareness, no idea when pressure is coming. He's still terrible with the football and will fumble or throw interceptions at the very worst times. He has a good arm and will look like a solid player for short stretches, but he is terrible when pressured.
I was very disappointed to see the Eagles suck today, hoped they could beat out the Cowboys for the division. I guess not.
-
Got that right.
Speaking of dominant, seems every time I watch a Dallas offensive series, and I don't that often, their OL NEVER gets pushed back and Murray is NEVER touched until he's five yards past the LOS. I enjoy watching them work.
GO BILLS!!!
I hate to see the Cowboys succeed, but they really have put together a good OL.
I always envy the way the Cowboys draft, develop, and use tight ends, too. Witten is great, but then they keep drafting guys pretty high (Escobar, etc). TEs can be a big part of a productive offense.
-
I've commented Id like kromer for the offensive line- curious what guys would think after this nasty story about leaking to the media about cutler
Worked under marrone I believe - helped develop jahri Evans, Carl nicks, Bushrod, etc.... Some misses in there too but a nice track record
When they talked about Aaron Kromer (Bears OC) and how he had talked negatively about Cutler, the thing that amazed me was that he is also the Bears' offensive line coach!
What kind of rinky-dink sh%$ is that?! The same guy as OC and OL coach? No wonder their offense sucks!
It sounds like something the old cheapskate Bengals would do.

I think the Nix-Gailey gang was bound and determined NOT to take a QB in any of their drafts - because they had Fitz.Don't forget that we traded up to take TJ Graham over Russell Wilson
NO F^%$Kin WAY will we take a QB...
-
But that's like Orton or EJ or Fitz, or Derek Carr saying it too. Most QB's have shown flashes at some point, it doesn't mean they should say it out loud to anyone. The good ones let their body of work speak for themselves.
I think you've got it, Mark. Right there.

Dennis, Buffalo Brothers is a pretty good time. They have a few locations. The atmosphere is probably better than the food, but for wings it's not bad.
Thanks, Juice. I will need some good wings when I get there!

It's great that Lee Smith is a great contributor to charities in the community.
I'm sure the charities will get a "cut" of his new riches.
Straight ahead, brother!
