Carolina Panthers? meh
Arizona Cardinals? meh, at least they stopped sucking in recent years.
St Louis Rams? They were interesting back in 1999 or so.
When I joined Directv, they were giving away a big NFL parka of your favorite team. But they asked on the form, what is your second choice team?
Huh? What fan has a second choice team, as if you would wear the colors of one or the another?
I just chose the local team (Rams), figuring I would sell the parka if they did not have a Bills parka available.

This article was BRILLIANT!! Maroon checked you into his doghouse, and you couldn't check out. Mike Williams, Kraig Urbik, Marquise Goodwin with 1 (yes, one) catch all year, and now we see the stats on EJ clear as day. It's extremely hard to reach any other conclusion than Maroon did this all deliberately, but to what end? That's the part that escapes me. Tear down Whaley? Try to lose? Too much of a control freak to let the players play?
It doesn't really matter. POS is gone and good #$%ing riddance. It's too bad nobody knew how bad a coach he really was. I feel sorry for the Jags (not really). Happy trails Dougie, thanks again for taking the money and running, showing no class or character in the process.
Hopefully now we get to see the real EJ (sorry EJ haterz).
Bingo! Right on the nose.
Oh, this one almost made me spit out my coffee:
"Whoever the QB is this season, it's evident that he'll fare far better under Ryan/Roman than the Marrone/Hackett clown car."
the Marrone/Hackett clown car - Brilliant!

Wow, that is a great read. Thanks for the link.

I just watched the Calgary @ Montreal game.
In the 4th Qtr (I think), Calgary got an "objectionable conduct" penalty, and it seemed to be because Bo Levi Mitchell was waving his arm (lobbying for a pass interference call), and the announcer said he should just let the officials make the calls.
I've never seen that before in the CFL. Maybe it's one of the new rules, like they have a ~20 yard field goal range now for an extra point.
It seems like a pretty harsh penalty just for a guy lobbying for a penalty. Brady would have a million of those if the NFL did that.

How was Brohm so good in college and yet such a terrible pro?
What do they call that - a system quarterback?
Meaning that outside of a "system" (like Petrino's) that they may not be much of a quarterback at all?
I thought Brohm looked pretty bad, with underthrows and off-target throws aplenty. Oh, and the two pick-6 plays.
I was a Brohm supporter when he was with Buffalo, but I see why he never got much playing time. He lacks a lot as a pro QB.
I am enjoying watching those CFL games, though!

Thanks, Promo! I had been looking for some CFL.

I think Brown goes before Boobie because of special teams
Did I hear correctly that Boobie blocked 3 punts last year? I thought I heard that tidbit recently. That is a huge bonus.
I have been a Bryce Brown fan, but extremely disappointed in what he has shown so far. Part of it was Fu$%face Marrone's doghouse concept, but maybe Bryce has no heart, like someone just said in this thread.
Bryce has a lot to prove in camp this year. A 4th rounder is not such a big investment that you can't just move on from Bryce if he does not start to excel.

Despite only playing running back for two seasons, Karlos Williams ranks ninth in @FSU_Football school history with 22 rushing touchdowns.
Karlos Williams was also a key special teamer at FSU, returning 29 kicks during his four years as a Seminole.
Oh, nice!
I'd like to have a 230-pound kick returner! I hope he could be effective in that role.

1. Jameis Winston - Tampa
2. Marcus Mariota - Philadelphia
3. Amari Cooper - Oakland
4. Todd Gurley - Miami
5. Brett Hundley - JetsBonus - Who the Bills pick? OT Donovan Smith - Penn St

Is that a big red slice of pizza? Mmmmmm

what are your thoughts on him... I thought he kind of underachieved last year
Sorry, I have not seen much college football. I had to look up his position and school. I just had to know! But that's all I got.

@MBakerTBTimes: Karlos Williams says he is visiting the Bills soon
Florida State Running back, in case you wondered...

Carolina Panthers have claimed offensive tackle Jonathan Martin off waivers from the 49ers.
That is NOT the way to beef up your offensive line, Panthers.

Good stuff, dezertbill! I believe Marrone & Co were totally unqualified to run an NFL pro offense. That set back many of the offensive players, esp the young OL.
Aaron Kromer is said to be a "teacher" among OL coaches, so I look forward to development of all 3 of Kouandjio, Richardson, and Henderson.
It's very exciting to have "professional" NFL coaches working with the Bills players.

So, this off-season thing....apparently it can be a pretty good time, eh? Doug Marrone walked away from this?
This off-season is so good BECAUSE Doug Marrone walked away from it!!!

Hyperbole aside is Charles Clay the best TE (assuming Miami doesn't match) that the Bills have had since Ernie Warlick? I would say that he probably is.
Although Clay is not the 6'5" 260 pound prototype TE, I always remember him being difficult to defend.
Should be a very nice weapon for the Bills.

I don't get why people can't forget that Tuel pick 6.
EJ threw a game-losing pick 6 against Houston last year. Orton threw as bad of a pick-6 as I have ever seen against Detroit last year too.
But everyone only remembers Tuel's.
I guess that KC pick 6 stands out because it brought such a game-changing turnaround. And wasn't that KC game Tuel's only starting opportunity?
I wish he did have more of a chance to show his stuff. Now the coach talks about having 3 QBs - hey, what about me, coach?
Did Tuel finish last year on the practice squad?

I remember Russell Wilson laying the wood on him and he missed the last 2 games of the season...
Wow, did they play together at Wisconsin?

From Wikipedia:
Finley initially received interest from the Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots and Pittsburg Steelers, but no contract resulted. In October 2014, Finley filed a claim on his $10 million insurance policy. Despite working out five hours a day in Minneapolis and Wisconsin in hopes of an NFL comeback, Finley conceded that offers from the Steelers were not enough. "Pittsburgh have showed me a couple deals, but we all know the money ain't what it's supposed to be," Finley said in July 2014. "If I quit the game right now, I can take tax-free money, and that's a difficult thing that I'm going through with myself...
So, you can his point in not going back to play (at least at the reduced offers he has received...

Willis was good, but not HOF material, IMO.

To the OP, can you kindly put a question mark at the end of a title for a thread which only asks a question, and offers no information?
Like this "Henderson and Richardson off season news?"
Thanks,

Looks like the Mike Wallace trade just finished off the Bills chances in the Clay-mation Derby.
He seems like a good player, but 7 million dollars for a TE like that?! Yeesh.

It looked like that Carolina DB hurt himself when he went head first into Karlos' thigh.
