  1. I have recently lost the automotive love of my life to a head gasket crack. I got a 1985 BMW 528e when I was 16 and it gave me almost 5 years of loving, faithful service. I love the hell out of that car but dumping 2 grand into a car with 225,000 miles seems a little crazy to me. I am in the market for a new ride and I have always loved Camaros. I think it is a travesty that the Mustang caused the eventual discontinution of what was a great American muscle car. I am deciding between: 1994 Z28 Coupe....84k miles and 1996 Z28 T-Top Coupe 117k miles. Same price...both in great condition and from a dealership (not privately sold). I like to say that I know my sh*t when it comes to cars but I have never known anything besides my German beauty. Anyone with any Camaro experience have any insight? Let me know because one of those two cars will be mine by next week. Thanks TBD peace
  2. Sh*t the only car I've ever owned is an '85 BMW 528e. I love the stevestojan out of that car and it is finally on its way out (head gasket :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: :fyou:). RIP baby....you served me well for 5 years. peace
  3. Thought the exact same thing when I saw it. If its not broken, he's got some rubber bones. peace
  4. That clown just called a FULLBACK DRAW from the Carolina 25, down by 10, 1:40 left and NO Timeouts!! Oh How I miss his days in Buffalo. peace
  5. I dont understand how you think Stuart Scott has urban appeal. Hearing him forcing out "urban" slang is about as natural as ODB trying to recite Shakespeare. I think "urban" fans think he sounds fake. I see your case with Irvin and Smith though. peace
  6. Scare you? why? I'll tell you what though, it shocked the hell out of about 80,000 people I saw today. Im now even more geared up for the Bills!!!!! Can't wait till tomorrow....hoping i can find a place to watch the game in South Bend
  7. Where are all my Wolvervines? I was in Ann Arbor for the blowout last year and man does this make all that anguish worth it. 2 home games vs. Michigan in my 4 years here.....2 huge wins and twice we've rushed the field. Michigan is a solid team but no freshman QB is gonna walk into our house and smack us around. What a difference a week makes. The team I saw today was not the team that took the field vs. BYU. GO IRISH GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! peace
  8. I have life left in me for Notre Dame. I am so psyched for this weekend and it starts tomorrow. I dont know if I'd lay cash down but I am gonna go crazy for ND nonetheless. And regardless of the outcome, I am twice as excited for the Bills opener. To all of you from here who are attending the opener, I am so jealous. Be safe but go crazy......the tone of the season starts Sunday at 1pm. good night....GO BILLS
  9. No joke. Rodney Harrison is a piece of sh*t plain and simple. I love his intensity...LOVE IT...but from there he totally counters any respect I might have had for him through his repeated dirty and cheap plays. There are players that people say you only like if they are on your team (ie. Ray Lewis, Terrell Owens, Deion Sanders, etc.) and I have respect for all those guys. But I can honestly say that I would not want that f*ckup in a Buffalo Bills uniform. From knocking out Trent Green in preseason years ago to every dirty play he committed last night, he is a piece of sh*t and I have trouble understanding why/how any fan of sports could have an ounce of respect for him. peacee :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
  10. I totally agree. For some reason I never really think of Fred Taylor as a huge threat b/c he is always hurt. But when he IS in there (and he has been healthy for a while) he is dangerous. I think our defense can handle him. But if he does get his yards, then getting to Leftwich becomes all the more important. peace
  11. Last year on draft day Irvin was criticizing Roy Williams (WR, Texas) for NOT coming out a year early. He said he went back to "hide" in college for his senior year or something to that extent. The other guys were so stunned that a person was capable of such a stupid idea. I mean the cokehead was actually CRITICIZING a guy for staying in school, sticking with his team and getting his degree. When he says something like that, it is a lot easier to understand how he turned out the way he did. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: peace
  12. Yeah I agree with regards to the o-line. I think that starting off with the short/intermediate passes will make their job a little easier and therefore give them some confidence as well. If they collapse (can't block and/or penalties) we WILL lose this game. peace
  13. When I posted this, I was trying to emphasize that the deal went from good to even better (by dropping from a reported 28 to 23). I think it is a great deal and I believe that Schobel was the biggest priority among the 3 FAs for next year. He got pennies compared to what Kearse and other big namers got and he becomes more productive each year. I think this is some of the best news of the offseason. peace
  14. This game should definitely go down as a W in our book. Jacksonville may be up and coming, but they aren't up yet. I think there are a few keys to clinching a sound victory. 1. Get Bledsoe into a rhythm early. I think that we should start off with some intermediate or short pass plays to get Drew rolling. No 7-step drops. I think that Drew is at his worst when he gets off to a rocky start and we want to start not only the game on the right foot, but the season as well. 2. Get in Leftwich's face. He has talent, but he is still young. Rattle him early and this game will be smooth sailing. He'll start forcing throws and hopefully that will translate into some INTs. The worst thing you can do is allow him to start strong and build confidence with every throw. 3. PENALTIES for christ's sake. They have got to stop. This, IMO, has been the biggest source of frustration during the preseason. They kill our drives, they extend theirs and they have destroyed a number of very impressive returns by Josh Reed. It is a home game so the offensive line shouldn't be sh*tting their pants because of crowd noise. We ARE the better team and should win this game, but penalties (and TOs) can be the great equalizer in many cases. We take care of these 3 things, I say we cruise. Bills 27 Jags 10 peace
  15. ESPN is now reporting that the deal was only worth 23 million. Same link as before: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?id=1877220 peace

  17. I was at the Bills-Ravens preseason game last year and they kept playing Shout everytime the Ravens scored. Thieves!! :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
  18. Pucillo did destroy his man on McGahee's first TD run against Denver. Absolutely dominated him. I haven't seen anything since then so I guess I missed it when he became public enemy #1. peace
  19. I know that proabably 95% of yall dont give a stevestojan, but what I witnessed tonight was inexcusable. I dont mean to bring this into the Bills realm but I have vented as much as I can and I need a new outlet. Bills fans have always huddled around adversity and disapointment and I feel like I needed to express my feelings to a group of people who have been there through the lows. I thought that this was gonna be a great season for ND and Buffalo, but one of my legs has just been chopped off. All my chips are on the red, white and blue now. Thanks for the vent....Im gonna finish off this fifht now. peace Bart :
  20. was that a typo on NFL.com or is Gregg Williams back?
  21. I was gonna say that too. He really does deserve it. He was a stud a Bama and he has done very well so far. Do you say keep 4 backs?
  22. I cant believe I got into this thread so late. I went to his show in Chicago on Saturday. It was my first as well. AMAZING. It rained like a bastard all night. The lawn was a huge mudslide. Once in a lifetime experience. peace
