Losses won't get us into the playoffs, but games like this in the early weeks of the season will. All this team needs is to grow a little and after today I have little doubt that they will do just that. If we can hang tight and learn a little I think we're going to see a team capable of big things in the second half of the season.

You know the funny thing is that while I do feel we were beat up on the lines, I still feel like ST cost us this one. Had they done their normal thing and won us some field position, I think we could have outlasted the Pats on this one...

You guys have to be kidding me... Dick Jauron was trying to teach a young team, that no one thinks can win, how to stick the dagger into the heart of an opponent (one we were supposed to have NO CHANCE of beating) on the ground. If it would have worked, it would have been brilliant. It did turn the tide; we had our chances to make it up, but Special Teams cost us a game (did I just say that?).

How can you be upset with this game!? We're hanging with the Pats, picked by most as the class of our division. We're tied in the 4th and we have a TON to improve on. Nothing but upside with this team. Though that was scary!
