  1. We will now get to relive "The Super Bowl Shuffle", 9,872 times in the next two weeks...
  2. Exactly what right does the team and Ticketmaster have to restrict ticket sales? Hell, I usually enjoy having a beer or two and a jeer or two with other teams fans!
  3. Did anyone else see the story about the Chargers cancelling any ticket sales to anyone outside of Southern California (i.e. New England) to get "the best home-field advantage possible"? I guess the Bears did it too. Seems a little extreme to me - what right do they have to "discriminate" against Pats fans (not that I don't want to see the Pats lose)? I mean it was only 1,000 tickets, but still, just doesn't seem right. Plus it just seems so pu**y to not let opposing fans in! Come on, it's a playoff football game!! Here's a link: http://www.boston.com/business/globe/artic..._out_pats_fans/
  4. This is probably the ESPN article they're talking about in that article; it's another good read: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?id=2672668 From all that I've read about Greeeeg, it seems pretty easy to see why the guy failed. He's stubbron and sounds full of himself. Guess that's what it takes to get a multi-million dollar coaching contract
  5. Nice - I'm watching TV and Gumbal and Colinsworth are wondering why Williams is being stubborn on D in the Skins game. I just read the articles, interesting insight on a crazy man. I somehow doubt that Nate needs to read an SI article to understand what it's like to work under Greeeeg... My god that D is a mess - I love to watch a meltdown live in HD! That second article (I've named it "Greggpocolypse now") is just so telling - you cna see it reflected in tonight's game! Greeeeg is once again staying in the Cover 2 on running downs and getting run all over. I half expect him to turn to an NFL Network camera and say "No, noo, it's cool, I'm F'n BRILLIANT!" This certainly makes ya wonder how much Nate likes Fewell, his D and the way he runs things. After Perry saying that Nate's loss would be the biggest on the D maybe Nate will bye into what we're trying to build. He certainly should see the bright future for this team! In the end it seems Gregg is pretty much a prick (not just here but in Washington too), so let's hope that Nate sees that too. I like our chances of keeping Nate, to be honest. We're way under the cap and the Fewell *knows* how important Nate is. I hope the front office offers money early and often once the seaon ends!!
  6. I was just thinking the same thing driving home from Christmas - a lot on my mind I think that Takeo is a savvy enough veteran to handle the *responsibilities* of MLB - I'm not sure if he's suited to play it. Anyone? Still I think that Ellison has proven that he should be out on the field. I'll miss London, he's an incredible player and should be thought highly of in Buffalo. The guy always played hard over - despite all that was going on the last few years. I say sign Nate at all costs and let London go...
  7. Off to Buffalo! It's a nice day for an 8 hour drive.. I guess I'll see all y'all tomorrow, should be a fuuuuuun game!!
  8. Very nicea! Are you going to the Lot 1 party?
  9. It's the last game, clearly a reason to be there Rubeo!
  10. Cool - I'll probably be up around 9:30. Will that spot be packed by then? Guess it doesn't really matter, I'll find my way there
  11. GW - I don't get back often enough to skip a game, even if it IS Christmas Eve. I missed the Jags game to drive back to VT for work, I was just kicking myself!! Thank the radio gods for Sirius...
  12. Hopefully that cooler stayed in the Buffalo region and made it to all the games I couldn't after I moved! Hammer, I'll check the parking once I get up there - if the lot is crazy, I'll be in your yard. Since I'll be rolling with a 12 pack of High Life and some sort of a sandwich I should be pretty mobile! And here I thought I was not going to make it to a game this year - the streak is alive!
  13. Will there a be a grill on-site or should I bring non-grillables? Do ya'll need anything for the partay?
  14. Sounds like a bit of a party to me! What time are you going to get there?
  15. I'm heading home for the weekend and my Buffalo crew is all busy with family, wives, kids, etc. so no one can make the game. I'd still like to hit it up, but I'd like to find a crew to tailgate with. If anything is going on let me know and I'll be there!
  16. Is there going to be a little TBD tailgate at Hammer's this weekend? I'm heading home for the holidays and I would like to take in the game, but all of my Buffalo crew is caught up with family, wives, kids and all that good stuff. It'd be nice to have a crew to tailgate with...
  17. From a thread on BB.com; credit goes to circle_the_wagons67: http://boards.buffalobills.com/forums/thread/1412463.aspx JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS WHO TO ROOT FOR NEXT WEEK... chronological order Jacksonville (8-5) @ TENNESSE (1:00) - J-ville also has to go 1-2 to finish out. They face the Pats at home and then go to arrowhead to close out the season after next week. We really need them to go ahead and lose thier first one next week. It is virtually a must lose for a Bills playoff scenario, keep reading. Denver (7-6) @ ARIZONA (4:15pm) -this is probably the most important game out of many that we need help with. We do not hold a tiebreaker with Denver so we need them to go 1-2 in the last three also. After this they face Cinci and San Fran at home. I dont see them losing to San Fran. Kansas City (7-6) @ SAN DIEGO (8:15) - We only need KC to lose one more but this is big too, here is why. They finish @ Oakland and hosting Jacksonville. Thats a little overlap in what we need. So if they pull out an upset here then we are hoping for them to lose to Oakland, because the only other scenario for a Bills playoff birth would involve KC getting beat at home by a Jacksonville team already eliminated from the playoffs. Cincinatti (8-5) @ Indy - We actually dont care about this game because Cinci would have to lose out for us to jump them and that isnt happening. Besides we need them to beat Denver in week 16. So they can go ahead and roll. Bill/Bengals AFC wildcard. Miami @ THE BILLS!!!! just in case you forgot, this is the most important game! So now you know who to root for. The Jags, Broncos and Chiefs are the only (haha, only) teams we need to lose. We dont care at all about the Jets this week. Next week against Miami will decide our ability to jump them regardless of how they fare in Minnesota. (because if they lose to Minnesota and beat Miami, they hold a tiebreaker unless they lose to Oakland week 17, if they win in Minn. and lose to Miami then we hold a tiebreaker and if they lose to both then of course we have a better record) So anyways, this playoff scenario is real homeristic but its fun. If Jacksonville, Denver and Kansas City lose next week and the Bills win...our chances get very good to get in. Then next week we will need the Pats over the Jags, Cinci over Denver and Miami over the Jets. If we get ALL that and win against Tennesse our fate is in our own hands in week 17 facing Baltimore. But if just one of these games doesnt play out like we need it too, our chances will be very very remote. Like even more remote than they already are. GO BILLS!!
  18. Damn, that is an amazing building... The giant score boards will be crazy. And how about the club seats where the players enter? You can love the nostalgia of the Ralph all you like, but a new modern stadium in Buffalo would be sooooo sweet. Hopefully some 25 year old kid will come up with the next YouTube, sell it for a billion and buy the Bills!
  19. Holy crap - he just called our o line "dominant"! I feel like my ears must be playing tricks on me, it's been so long I've heard that...
  20. I sure didn't expect this today - great game by the Bills! Finally!! Sure would be nice to close the season out playing like this...
  21. Yeah - it's fun again! Way to go Bills!!!!!
