  1. Pro system? One of the biggest knocks on McCoy is that he takes every snap from the shotgun and rarely has to make a read.
  2. They (the talking heads) are saying he is a top 15 pick still at this point. I like him better than the other options even wih hi injuries. I like Locker as well but and not completely sold and he is still a junior. Tebow could be interesting when we draft in the mid-20's
  3. Sorry, working my sixth day this week and home drinking liquor cuz we are out of beer.....he's 28 turning 29 but still he point stands. He's servicable and a good ST guy but not going on to some great career.
  4. He's 29, almost 30, he's not quite in the "just starting to blossom" stage. No knock on his play, hes a great ST player and capabale receiver, hes just not going to have a good career, hes geting closer to the end than starting along going career.
  5. I watched most of the first half and I was actually quite disappointed. I was expecting a much better arm from what I have heard. His passes didn't seem to have "NFL zip" alhough it was probably adequate. The offense has him taking every snap from the shotgun formation and making one read. He never checked off the first receiver to a second option. It was quick snap and throw. He looks to have some potential but not a first round talent off of the half of football that I saw.
  6. I suggested Draft a while back as the only viable MLB option available in free agency. Seems like a decent signing at this point. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?...l=futurebillsgm
  7. I did some (very little) digging on who is even available that is a middle linebacker. The only name I could find that looks like he would be able to step in and contribute is Chris Draft who was released by St. Louis on Friday after he refused a pay cut. He was lining up as their starter in the middle in preseaon practices but I guess the rookie got the job. He also contributes on special teams. It sounds like he could be a Bills tpye guy. Anyone else out there that has experience at MLB that we might consider at least for depth?
  8. With McFadden, I am slightly concerned about the possibility of split carries with Fargas and Bush. I am also concerned that Oakland will be down 21 points in the first five minutes and they will be forced to pass A LOT this year.
  9. Who to start week 1?
  10. 12 team league, standard scoring, 1 QB, 2 RB, 2WR, FLEX, TE, DEF, K. Picked 9th (in order below) Frank Gore Chris Johnson Marques Colston Matt Schaub Antonio Gates Darren McFadden DeSean Jackson Matt Hasselbeck Devin Hester Mason Crosby Green Bay D Jerricho Crotchery Steve Breaston Josh Morgan Donald Brown James Davis
  11. Point per reception league on top of standard other scoring. Only 8 teams in the league and had the 5th pick (in order below). Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 FLEX, TE, K, DEF. Maurice Jones-Drew Andre Johnson Wes Welker Ryan Grant Aaron Rodgers Jason Witten Pittsburgh D DeSean Jackson Jerricho Crotchery Tony Romo Kevin Smith Felix Jones Kevin Walter Rashard Mendenhall Mason Crosby
  12. We better be favored in our home opener against a team with Josh McCown at quarterback.
  13. I have a pretty stacked team except at QB and am debating whoto start week 1. The options are: Matt Cassel @ Baltimore Trent @ New Endland David Garrard @ Indy I know it is early but wanted to talk some fantasy football and get your input.
  14. Drafted by the Bills in the 5th Round in 1994. Played for us that year and around various leagues ending with the XFL.
  15. Last summer, I was on a driving range with Aaron and he was very friendly with the few people who came up and interrupted his lesson to meet him. I was impressed. He chatted with my brother who was working in the pro shop for for a bit. Did not seem nasty or standoffish.
  16. Got this off another site.... Jarmon should have somewhere between a fifth- and seventh-round grade. He's 6-foot-3, 280 pounds. In 2007, he was a first-team all-conference performer finishing with 62 tackles, including 13.5 tackles for loss and nine sacks. Last season he had 38 tackles, including 10 for loss and 4.5 sacks. FWIW, they had him ranked as the 12th best NFL prospect at the DE position, #10 taking out OLB prospects. Certainly doesn't seem like a first rounder now but could have moved up (if this site is even reliable). I would certainly give a 6th to get him.
  17. I'd love to play if you still have an opening
  18. Rumor is that if Washington gets Sanchez, Tampa gets Jason Campbell
  19. Almost everyone says that Loadholt is a RT that can slide in to guard in the Leonard Davis mold. Not quick enough for LT.
  20. From what I have heard he'll be lucky to walk right again let alone play football.
  21. Not to get off topic but I will for a second. I have been a hippie and avid drug user throughout my college career who graduated, got my MBA and no longer "smoke weed". I smoke cigarettes which do a lot more damage and drink regular which does a lot more damage and I can at least get and keep a job. I would be better off helath wise and sanity wise if I could smoke a joint once a week instead of going out for happy hour four nights a week with the friends from work but I can't. It is quite ridiculous for many reasons. If you get a chance, read "Can't Find My Way Home". Its a good, fairly balanced story on the history of drugs including the political side.
  22. I am not quite sure why they are suing Contemporary Services. I know a lot of people who work for this company and they have zero responsibility outside of the gates of the stadium. I believe Apex is the same way. I can't imagine them getting nay money out iof companies that are not contracted to protect the area that they were assaulted in.
  23. Free agency "starts" when the NFL year ends and the players who are going to be free agents are no longer under contract wit htheir previous teasm. Fred was released, doesn't have a contract and can sign at any time.
