    I definitely don't agree with this statement. Evryone keeps pulling up stats on great QBs earily in their career. All of those QBs and the teams they were playing for were rebuilding, we are not. Big difference. TD didn't sign a guy with the experience and price tag of Holcomb to hold a clip board. He signed him as an insurance policy so another season doesn't get flushed.

    He wasn't drafted because he was a huge, slow TE with average hands. Not much need for those in the nfl.

    Normally I would agree with you but with the roster we have I dont't think they would give him any more than 3 games. We aren't rebuilding or a team in transition. Waaaaay too much defensive talent, and offensive talent to flush a season.

    If he led the team in assits yesterday I would have said he led the team in assists. He led the team in tackles not assists. There is a big difference. Zach Thomas or Coy Wire do not get credit for a tackle by "piling on", that is how it works. Oh well, I guess every preseason needs a whipping boy.

    I seriously don't understand the Coy Wire hard on folks have. He is a back up SS who is a solid special teams player. Did I miss something?
