  1. No they are probably watching a good team.......St. Louis is playing.
  2. Stay safe LOL!!!! That's the one place in the NFL I would be concerned about my safety.
  3. Of course I know that..........but for all the times I have listened to the Yankees fans tell me "it's only July" every other night I see a post like this snoozer.........
  4. I don't think I toted too much about my team in this thread, I have kept quiet about it lately. All this Yankees garbage makes me want to start again, because like I said, they aren't the best.......and when it's over we will be the best. PERIOD.
  5. Alright!!!! My two favorite minor league teams are the Cardinals triple A team the Redbirds of course and the Bisons!!!!
  6. I think I will get that one..........now I need to get some cash to buy it.
  7. THHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEE YYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAANKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS ARE STILL ONLY SECOND BEST IN MLB......... So please shut it already. No one cares.
  8. My heart tells me playoffs, but my gut tells me 8-8 tops.
  9. Well maybe they expect Cincy to win 7-2????
  10. Well actually I don't really think overall we did play much better then the latter part of last year. We scored 10 points (all of it a gift from Byron throwing INT's.) We had critical breakdowns late in the game with penalties, lack of discipline on defense, etc. I don't know, but I just didn't see the overall improvement some are boasting about. Individual players played better then they did last year, but as a team the answer is no. In the last three years we gave up 575 points in 24 road games while scoring 383. That averages out to 23.9 points to 15.9 points in our opponents favor. That includes our wins. There weren't many of those. This area is the one that has to improve the most. Our home record hasn't been that great either, but our road record is pathetic. It needs to improve. I will look for signs of improvement this week. I hope to see some.
  11. Sure you can. If we start playing well on the road that is a sign that our coaching has improved more so then it is of our talent improving. It's basically the same players. Is our coaching better or not??? If we keep getting spanked on the road then I say no. I mean we still aren't winning our home games (last week) so will our road play improve???
  12. Well I'm not saying we won't lose again in week 3......... We have started 0-3 and made the playoffs. What I'm saying is this team needs to hit a stride. You see teams like NE hit a stride durring a season and never let up. The Bills will play well for two weeks and then stink it up for the next month, win a few more, then suck for a couple weeks, etc.........we need to be that team that puts it all together and starts rolling.
  13. I think we find out what type of team we have this week. If we go into Oakland and play well (whether we win or not) then I think this team can be turned around. Now on the flip side, if we go into Oakland and get hammered like our road performances the last few years then I think we are in trouble. You can talk all you want about 0-2 not meaning much as we were 2-0 last year and went 6-10 but folks it does mean something with this team........this is a team that needs some confidence. We need to show people that we can be contenders. If we can't do it we are in for another long season. In short, I think it's make or break already in week two.
  14. It will never happen. I guess if that was the case, they were just smarter then most. My hats off to them. If you ain't cheatin' you ain't tryin'!!!!!
  15. I have the same situation. Brady and Vick. I'm starting Brady. I think that Brady is going to throw a lot every week. That's just NE. Corey Dillon won't change the style of their offense.
  16. The chicken was just right. Perfect. I didn't think it was too hot at all.
  17. Travis is always going to have these things. He is a hard runner. It's why you see these types of runners break down early in their career. Earl Campbell, Franco Harris, Emmitt Smith. Why do you think Barry Sanders was so productive and would probably be close to as productive today if he hadn't retired??? He knew when to avoid a hit. Guys like Travis go looking for hits.
  18. Well that means you would have to make it out of the hotel then next year Sue
  19. Sid you know when you talk like it's a group thing I think you boys are working........poker is an individual game........
  20. I loved the wings. Honestly they were in the top 3 of any wings I've EVER eaten, maybe number 1. They were that good. Mark talked with us a bit about them, I was impressed. Too hot??? They weren't really that hot at all, that's what I enjoyed about them, a little kick but not too bad.
  21. Our buddy Vincent Gallo shows up in this article. Johnny Ramone, guitarist and co-founder of the seminal punk band THE RAMONES, has died at the age of 55. Ramone, who had been fighting a five-year battle with prostate cancer, died in his sleep Wednesday afternoon (Sept. 15) at his Los Angeles home surrounded by friends and family, said the band's longtime artistic director Arturo Vega. "He was the guy with a strategy. He was the guy who not only looked after the band's interest but he also was their defender," Vega told The Associated Press. Ramone, whose birth name is John Cummings, had been hospitalized in June at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Along with his wife, Linda Cummings, Johnny Ramone was surrounded at his death by friends, including PEARL JAM's Eddie Vedder, Rob Zombie and others. Other friends who gathered at his Los Angeles home included Lisa Marie Presley, Pete Yorn, Vincent Gallo and Talia Shire. He is survived by his wife and his mother, Estelle Cummings. He will be cremated during a private ceremony.
  22. Maybe that's why they are so friendly????
  23. Well if Ricky wanted to, he could burn down in Ohio and then come across the border and repeat the process. He could enjoy 4:20 twice a day.
  24. He just told him that he thought he was doing a good job, that he disagreed with him at times, but he understands that TD's goal is the same as ours. TD shook his hand and never let go for a few minutes and then they went their seperate ways. There is the just of it, there ya go folks.
