  1. Let me get this straight. It's OK to not pick linemen, because we can get them as undrafted free agents. However, it is vital that we take a TE in the 3rd, instead of say, the 4th or 5th. Not following. For your Jason Peters, I raise you Antonio Gates.
  2. At what point did we NOT have to take interior linemen?? 1992?
  3. What? You say our o-line was decimated, but don't like that we took 2 o-lineman? WTF?
  4. And the Bills drafted this guy? I'm in heaven.
  5. Dude was playing with a separated shoulder. I'm still amazed he was out there.
  6. Sure seaman, coming from the same goofball who said this pick "sets us back 5 years." I didn't want another CB - I didn't see the need for it, especially after signing D. Florance. A safety, however, is a completely different situation, as we had mediocre players vying for the starting spot. But I wouldn't expect you to understand that, and am fully counting on a completely meaningless rebuttal from you.
  7. Whichhhh sounds a whole helluva lot better if he's playing free safety, which has already been somewhat confirmed.
  8. Fair enough, sounds reasonable. Whitner is what he is - a hard-hitting, 8th man in the box. He hasn't gotten any help whatsoever from his safety counterpart. Byrd could change the face of this D, allowing Whitner to do his thing. This may elevate the defense's ability even more to make plays and get to the QB.
  9. Who knows. And who cares. This dude is a complete clown.
  10. It's bull sh--. Some people just HAVE to be dicks regardless of the outcome.
  11. Actually, this front office is raw, with a new man in charge. And can I please hear what your feelings were on our free safety position, if you didn't think it was a need?
  12. you need to take a hike. your opinions are slightly worse than those of Al Davis. Did anyone else think that Cushing and Matthews looked like the 2 biggest tools you've ever seen? I don't know if they were trying to be AJ Hawk & Bobby Carpenter, or are going to try out my new haircut part 2. Total D-bags.
  13. Same, I was really ticked. Good thing we came back with a few solid selections.
  14. Detroit did well, Seattle did well. Any team that got a 2010 1st rounder for giving up their 2nd did really well. But I am truly thrilled about our draft. The team already looks much stronger.
  15. I'm not sure whether you're trying to frustrate people by being a d!ck or just that ignorant. What's the point of the Erik Flowers comment other than to just piss people off?
  16. Risk/reward. Huge ceiling if he hits it, bigger negative impact on the organization if he doesn't.
  17. Same. I almost chucked my beer through the window when I saw "CB" on this screen. My first thought was "he better be our !@#$ing safety," and now that I see how ridiculously well he projects there, I'm very excited. People need to man up and stop being so ignorant about a DB pick. OMFG!!!1!!1!!! another cornerbackz!!!!! He's our SAFETY and could be a special player for us.
  18. I'm !@#$ing pumped. This may be my favorite pick. Kid is picking balls out of the air with one hand.
  19. Byrd was going to Dallas in round 2 before we took him at #42.
  20. http://www.buffalobills.com/media-lounge/v...a5-aeebb2f4f0b7 Never missed a game to injury 17 INTs in 3 years Over 200 tackles Crazy athleticism A little slow (4.6), but good size (206 lbs) and a solid hitter - he's got starting free safety written all over him
  21. I wonder if ANY of this logic went through his mind before he started this thread
  22. I've never seen anything so ridiculous in my life. It's like that team is stuck in the 1970s age of recruiting.
  23. No, !@#$ that Sporting News synopsis. I read on here like 50 times that he is terrible because he is a DB. So I'm going with that because every TBD poster has at least 2 hours of youtube scouting experience, making them an NFL draft expert.
