  1. If the Bills are the Dolphins of the 90's I have another comparison.

Josh Allen is Karl Malone of the NBA.  Dude is a Hall of Famer, and made the playoffs every season i think. He would have at least a couple Championship rings, but alas, he had to run into Michael Jordan in the finals.   Mahomes is our Jordan.  Malone ended his career with no rings.

I really want him to go back to Palmer this off season. Work on being more of a pocket passer, on making plays when the O Line holds up and he has time to survey the field. No one’s perfect but if he can improve on that, he’d be as close to unstoppable as a QB can be.

Yeah i don't need perfection but there are plenty of occasions when he has a clean pocket and his eyes are a bit slow to react or he hesitates on his decision.  These result in those 2 yard completions sideways, or slinging the ball over someone's head out of bounds.  I dunno, the OC scheming up those Detroit Lions, Goff passes are getting dudes wide open in the middle of the field.  We don't ever see that.

  3. At some point, Allen's running will slow down.  He can't keep getting smashed game in and game out in the regular season.  My question, can he be a good pocket QB?  I struggle with this because I love when he scrambles around and creates stuff off script (throwing or running).  When he stands in the pocket sometimes he is slow to read and release or throws an inaccurate series of passes.

He's the entirety of the Buffalo Bills offense.  I want the guy to have an extended career even after the running slows up.

See this isn’t true after last night

    our guys were getting separation

at least where I was sitting

    diggs drops are troubling

1 second and that’s a TD to sure hand shakir

I wasn't referring to separation.  I was saying that Gabe is the best at tracking the ball on deep passes.  We missed that.  Sherfield had to dive to catch a pass that if tracked properly he catches in stride and running.

  5. The fake punt was so dumb I actually LOL'd in my family room watching it.  I can see a 4th and 1, maybe?  But he had so far to run.  It's almost like McD or whoever called it wanted to create a Damar Hamlin moment to show on the ESPY's as the Bills use the fake punt to win the game and go on to win the SB.

I hated it, and was so happy that we got the touchback and didn't have to point to that play as the reason we lost.

    Curse

i I can’t explain it any other way this team and area is cursed

Such a bummer when i get yearly postgame texts from friends and people i speak to once a year who aren't Bills fans... yet they say how sorry they are and try to console me.  They often wonder how our fanbase can go on with so many heartbreakers.  That's sports.

Fans of Baltimore, KC, San Fran and Detroit all think they are a team of destiny right now, yet only 1 will win.  It's just so difficult to claim the prize.

  7. Unpopular take but I'm not cutting Bass unless Beane has some trick up his sleeve.  He will end up going somewhere and being successful.  We will be disappointed by a string of recycled kickers who consistently fail.

I don't understand how we keep beating them in the season. Yet, they keep beating us in the postseason. It boggles my mind. Only conclusion I come up with is one coach is made for postseason ball. Another...is not.

But no, Allen didn't get it done when it mattered most. Not all on him though. Team game.

Pacheco was huge and didn't play in the regular season matchup.  Plus Mahomes is obviously a GREAT QB, throws on point and the receivers caught everything last night.  AT one point they had 8 chunk plays to our zero. KC's defense, while solid, got pushed around last night but they got some stops when needed.  And lucky with the Bass miss which may have only prolonged our agony another couple mins.

  9. The fact that Josh has to do SO MUCH for this team to be in position to win, it worries me.   It's not sustainable for him to run like this and smash his body around and finish the season.  We got fortunate he didn't get injured this year and miss time.  KC and Mahomes at one point at 8 chunk plays to zero for Buf.  Mahomes makes good decisions in the pocket and throws accurately downfield...and of course last night his receivers decided to catch everything.  The Bills had to work so much harder to complete passes,,, and of course the WRs came up so small.

  10. Bass can't miss that kick, but yeah KC was going to get into Butker's range for a walk off and he was not going to miss.

Failing on 2nd and 3rd down and not getting a TD late was the ballgame.  The Bass kicked was going to prolong it for another couple mins.

It was a pretty even game last night.  Could've gone either way.  I did not think Buffalo was the better team.  It was even at best,

Maybe a weird post - but I was both excited about this game, and dreading it.  I was excited because winning would have been euphoria - but I expected losing to be completely devastating.  As it always has been for me.

I'm actually shocked that I'm in decent spirits right now.  It's nothing like previous losses in high-stakes games.  I usually can't sleep, but I think I'll sleep fine tonight.

Trying to figure it out.  Do I just expect this kind of stuff now?  Just curious if anyone else has a similar thing going on....

I slept OK but when I stirred around 5am i laid there for an hour thinking about the game and couldn't fall back to sleep.  Being older now, the game will wash off me much quicker than when i was in my 20's for the Super Bowl years.  But still, it bothers me that Josh Allen's prime years are clicking off.  His legs and body won't do what they've been doing at a high level forever.  We've had arguably the best player in football here and can't get past Divisional round, at HOME.

But to answer your original question yes, I am mostly lowkey about it.  I expected it.  Even stuff not having to do with our game had me prepared for a loss.  I harped on it all yesterday that we needed Tampa to win, because home teams rarely go 4-0 in the Divisionals, and they didn't.

  12. very disapponted. damn. Allen had the ball at the end, two lousy decisions throwing and a missed FG by a struggling kicker. Game was at home. no excuses, injuries whatever, the Chiefs earned it, they moved the ball at will at times.

Ya gotta admit, if Bass makes it. 27-27 with 1:34 left, Butker was going to walk it off.  Allen not hitting Shakir wide open was a killer as was the 3rd down. It was on his hand or legs to will us to the TD.  and Diggs not catching that deep pass was horrible.

They have the ball first down on the KC 26, game on the line and come away with zero points. Just can’t happen. inexcusable
