  1. I'd love to see us go 10-6 but the team Gailey inherited in Dallas had a lot more talent than we have....

How do you know that? Maybe we have talented players but they were not put into situations to show their talent because of coaching.

To say this team doesn't have talent is a weak argument considering the coaching (or lack of) we have had on this team since Wade left. I'm not saying Gailey is different I'm just saying lets wait and see.

there is talent on this team; there is also places where it needs to be improved, BUT a good head coach can and should be able to hide a little of those deficiencies.Don't get me wrong looking at this team I don't believe this is a playoff team but let see what we really have this year. Both coaching and players.

  2. there, fixed it for you. i couldn't agree with you more.

How Childish. Trues colors are coming out there John, I guess (I)we can't have and meaningful conversation with you because you obviously are out matched and have resorted to grade school tactics. But I after seeing how some of your fellow writers think I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

  3. like your suggestion i'm good at pumping something up ... well, you know what you wrote. nice.

and, while you're at it, why not provide an answer to my post in regards to what publications you will or won't follow now. please, will you not follow those publications for the same reason you won't read the AP. and please, since integrity's on the line here, explain if you'll limit it to the AP.

Way to deflect.... Why not answer his question.

I for the record I as wrong it was AP writers... (I can admit I was wrong, Can you?)

it's an AP award and it was AP choice to put him back on the ballet. what kind of message is AP sending by giving it to someone that cheated, during the course of the year to get it????

AP is wrong; and anyone that defends giving this award to him is wrong.

I loved reading some of the reason why they still voted for the cheater though...thanks for the laugh.

  4. The dumbest 17 people in sports! and so what big deal no AP writers it's still an AP award and they should have not allowed it.

  5. why: for re-opening the vote to a panel of 50 non-AP journalists, to determine whether Cushing should keep an award after testing positive for a banned substance. and the fact that 18 of those non-AP journalists voted in favor of Cushing somehow casts an ill light on the AP?

YES an bunch of spineless jellyfish, that have NO regards for the rules.....The guy is a CHEATER...END OF STORY... unless your one of the 18 AP writers that doesn't care about winning at ANY COST. I only hope the name of these slugs come out.

AP voting is a joke.....and they are a joke after giving a CHEATER an AWARD for CHEATING...period.

Anyone trying to defend this is WRONG pure and simple....
