And his GM said nobody is off limits, Sounds like there is NO way he's going anywhere.
Stop screwing around ONE buffalo, solve the QB position for the first time in 15 YEARS.
We can make the cap room, trade some picks and a players or two and get this done. ( With Brees, and these weapons, and this defense Buffalo would be right in the discussion for Super Bowl Favorite for the next 2 or 3 years.
Most of bills Fans would gladly sell some future for an opportunity to win a super bowl now, buffalo is taking a run, what better way to do that than go out and get a REAL PRO BOWL QB. A guy that threw for over 4000 yds last year.

I put these thoughts in the wrong thread but...
I would hate, hate, hate if Fred Jackson is released. If it were me I would keep him and his 2.7m contract.
That said, with Shady, Boobie and Bryce, is Fred worth 2.7m if we are trying to add a bunch of established veteran FA. Probably not.
The real question, and it's something I haven't the slightest idea of, is how much monetary value does having Fred Jackson on your team, in your locker room and on the sidelines give you. I don't think anyone in the world could put a number on it. It could be zero. It could be a million or two, I really have no idea.
If Fred is gone are we a weaker team on the field? With the amount of plays Shady is going to have this season, we're probably not much weaker. Will be a lesser team because of his leadership? In some ways, yes.
I think I would keep him. If his contract the difference between him and Bilal Powell I would surely keep him. If his contract is the difference between getting Beluga or Clay or Iupati (meaning we could afford 8m instead of 6 and couldn't get him without the Fred cut, I guess I would let him go. I'd try to find those 2m elsewhere though.
Agree 100% with everything you said

Hopefully we get the good news today....
-
Posted in MMQB, this is probably good news!
Hughes was at the Bills’ dinner celebrating the LeSean McCoy deal, with McCoy and team brass, Sunday night.
-
if you want him you wait for the fish to sign Suh. Than try to sign him
-
umm... NO!
-
Don't care where CJ goes, you just have to get an arm on him and he goes down.
-
Well; this changes the thinking a little bit, not crazy about the trade, only because of the Cap hit. But as others have said that can be changed.
He is a top 5 back = Good
but they better go out and get a guard (and I mean a good guard) and a RT tackle (someone to fill in a yr or two while Henderson matures)
Going to be an interesting FA period Folks!!!!
-
The way this QB search is being dealt with it seems as though nothing has changed at 1BD. Orton, McCown really what are we doing.... Everytime we talk about a QB the bills are thinking about I think the payoff get further and further away.
FOR ONCE, DO SOMETHING this caliber of QB is not helping us.
-
Hope no one buys it.
What he said!!!!
-
HAHAHAHA , That's some funny **** right there!!!!
He appreciates his new o line finishing plays, but he can't finish anything.
-
Not exactly the hardest big game to kill...but I guess you have to start somewhere. The meat is good though.
-
If we lose the #6 overall pick, that jets fans earned by suffering through this horrendous 4 win season, becuase of our dip ship owner, people are going to start flying planes over the practice field demanding he sell the team.
And rightfully so......
-
They shouldn't even be allowed to play the game....Regardless they are forever know as cheaters now, and they should be, because they got caught again.
Doesn't matter if they Catch "the" guy or not, And Tom knows more then he said yesterday for sure.
-
So St. doug wants to work for the son, But quits because the DAD might become the Czar.... things that make you go hhhhhmmmmmm.
Like Tom and Bill pointing at each other and saying I didn't know anything did you know anything???? Nobody know anything, okay we ok they will go away now....
-
Just be glad the all the wanker's are gone.
-
YEAH....
-
"League sources also confirmed to ESPN that the footballs were "properly inspected and approved" by the referee some two hours before kickoff."
and it grows a little more....
-
Maybe, He was secretly working for the PATS and he is responsible for the one football being properly inflated.
After all the PATS are the best team ever assembled and we are mere pee-eon's (as evidence by our sucktude the last 15 YEARS).
anyone see what I did there???
-
Guess dinner with REX didn't go well last night.
Didn't Doug just say a day or two ago he didn't expect any more changes on the scouting side??
-
But...*ahem*...
"Everyone does it.""You can't prove everyone doesn't do it.""Even if everyone doesn't do this, everyone does other stuff.""It's not a big deal.""Your team just sucks."So we should just ignore it completely. How about just saying "it's a HOF's"
-
Well it took 11 years, but I've finally added someone to my ignore list (congratulations), you just can't fix stupid sometimes.
-
The latent pettiness among some Bills fans, is perfectly matched to Belichick's own pettiness.
None of this is gonna cure 15 years of bad Bills teams.
What does the last 15 years have to do with the PATS cheating????????????????
What's so hard to understand, They got caught cheating in 2007, they got caught cheating again last weekend, it's called a pattern. It has NOTHING to do with the bills, Go look on ABCNEWS, it the lead story, why?
BECAUSE THEY GOT CAUGHT CHEATING.......AGAIN, FOR THE 2ND TIME.
it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out if they have been caught once, and caught again 8 years later they are probably cheating elsewhere.
-
Nor should it.
Totally disagree with this statement, You dont have a rule in place and then not enforce the rule, Twice. Sorry there is a pattern here and it not about a football with 2psi less air.
Saints open to offers for Brees (edit -- fake tweet)

His cap hit would be 18.75 and 19.75 I don't believe that signing bonus carries over in a trade, Nothing to bills couldn't make work.
GM Mickey Loomis already said nobody off limits, As I've said anyone is available for the right price.
Although If they were to trade him I see it happening next year, if they trade him this year it would cost them 33.5 towards the cap, if they wait until next year they save 20mil in cap space and he would only count 7.4 towards the cap
