Anyone else having trouble getting on the board tonight?
You don't have someone in for second interview without plans on offering him a contract.This will get done and maybe is already done and waiting to leak news sometime Sunday with presser on Monday at 3:00pm.
Hearing other reports that they might have other interviews but it seem strange that Rex would "spend the night" to interview again if they weren't serious about him.

Bills and Marrone had an informal discussion about him returning. This could make sense for both sides as bills are concerned they won't find a qualified candidate given their qb situation and competition from other vacancies, and Marrone may be concerned about his chances of landing HC position somewhere else because his prospects with the jets are declining.
The media and fans would eat him alive, NOT a chance this happens after what he pulled.

2nd worse now but will trend up quickly in the next 2-3 yrs, if they get one of the 2 tops picks this year maybe even quicker.

It was a dumb move and Marrone was right. We keep the pick the Bills then could have bolstered the O line and then drafted a viable QB option like Carr. A much better scenario for the Bills. Tack on what we now seem to know that Marrone didn't want EJ and you realize the no win catch 22 predicament he was in. He's tasked to build an offense then is totally hamsrtinged by Whaley about personnel decisions. You can't hire somebody to do a job then put roadblocks in his way. And he still got the team to 9-7 with a cowardly sloth as the best option at QB. I would have opted out too once I learned that it wasn't going to change.
Why dont you go start a fan website for that fat ass quitter, he's not here anymore we don't give a rats ass about him, and your not going to change anyones mind about how he went from "your stuck with me, Too Quitter"

So tell me, why couldn't MR wonderfull Coach his oline? Why have they gotten worse each year he's been here? Maybe He's just not a very good coach...
I dont tell me he had bad players, pretty much the whole line Gailey had is still here. Good coaches coach to the player strengh, NOT to what he thinks they should do. Shula=GREAT coach Morrone=below AVG just like his record.

Agreed. I have seen more conflicting reports the last few days. There is some major spinning going on by both sides.
Well, after how madrone left his players and the fans, I tend to side on the spineless butt muncher point of view.

There's a particular characteristic of Mojo44's posts that almost certainly establishes it's either Saint Doug himself, a family member, or his agent -- the incessant quest for "credit." The question all of us should ask is....credit for WHAT? 15-17 and no playoffs. Again. This "9-7, trending upwards" mantra is nonsense. You can't claim to be building a contender and then lose the biggest game of the season at 2-12 Oakland. You can't claim to be an offensive guru and then watch every player regress on an offense that two years ago was at least average. And you can't take "credit" for the for defense you didn't build.
Losing Marrone is the "dumbest thing this franchise has ever done?" Umm, have you been paying attention over the past fifteen years, or in the mid-80s? Not caving in to a delusional first time HC with a losing record may be one of the smartest things Terry Pegula has ever done.

Kelly, wrong again. My contention is not all time W-L record and this should be quite obvious. From dead in the water to a winner. That's what he did, period. In TWO YEARS with the Bills from 6-10 to 9-7 and...now this is crucial...trending upwards. No one has done this in TEN YEARS with the Bills. Sounds like you may be losing your grip some with this W-L issue. Nope, criterion absolutely 100% met. Maybe you should cut your losses and back away from the table.
Really Marrone gets credit for all this.... He's a Moran. Anyone could coach this team to 9 win with that defense. Tell me what has happened to the O-line in the two years he's been here... yeah they have gotten worse each year (you would think the "head coach" would know how to make them better, NOT worse)

I'll be honest, I don't know what to believe anymore. If they are interviewing Kyle it has to be for a HC position not a OC position. Right now there is so much information that is wrong being thrown out, who's to say Vic's is more accurate then the other stuff being reported.
I have no problem with them developing EJ, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't go out and get the BEST QB we can in the meantime, if EJ beats him out great if not sit and learn for a year or two.
We can't put the immediate future in EJ's hands without a sound plan A / B.

I think Mike could be the press. with the Kyle the coach maybe?

For me it's more important to see whom the coordinators would be, I like that Frank has essentially been a coach since his playing days and he obviously knows the QB position.
If he keeps Schwartz and the rest of the defensive staff , and had a good staff for the OC I could see him getting the job, and I'd be okay with it.

Pretty sure Time Square, Yucatan bar, Cabasca's, Lani Ki and a host of other places don't close at 9:30....(lived there 10 years)
But it sure is nice that half the population goes to bed at 7:00pm

We Were just in Ft. meyers, nices beaches and 1000 strip malls. i think its where he meant. Buffalo blows away ft.Meyers nightlife.
Just so you know it's Ft. Myers.
I live in Buffalo and love the city but if you think spending time on Chippewa, Hertal or Canelside is better then spending a night in most of the bars / restaurants along the beach in Florida I'd have to question your definition of a good time.

I don't quite get the McDaniels hate. I don't really want him but I don't see it as the end of the world if he was the choice. He ran some productive offenses in Denver with Tebow and Orton and has consistently helped the *Patriots adapt based on their offensive weapons which tells me he is a good offensive mind.
Sure he seemed like an egomaniac in Denver getting rid of Cutler and Marshall but the Cutler trade doesn't look nearly as bad as it once did and perhaps he has learned a thing or two from his train wreck in Denver. I would at least give him a chance.
All this discussion said, my gut tells me Schwartz is the most probable candidate. He is the most likely to heal the wounds of Marrone's "We are a Family"...until i throw a tantrum and flip the bird to the organization on my way out. That is going to hurt the locker room, how can it not? Which is also why I would be ok with Rexy because despite his other flaws he NEVER lost the locker room and I think I would be the kind of coach who could turn that rift into motivation. IMO
Record at Denver, had Cutler, Marshell and were building until he could not get along with the personal there, CAUGHT CHEATING (video taped 49ers walk though, Who does this sound like)
