Would be a good place to start, Monitor every 5 minutes for a day and see where things settle out on first pass. don't add too much monitoring at once you will not get any numbers that are useful.
Also location probably will not play much into performance unless one site has a much larger bandwidth. The Hard drives personally I would stick with 2 drive's in a raid one config, you can still backup but if one drive fails you're not down and the raid will rebuild the other drive once replaced, Backups are better for corruption than Hardware issues. Make sure your always installing service packs and security patches (Microsoft every 2nd Tuesday of the month)
Oh the other part you can NEVER have too much memory, but the OS has to be able to support it, what OS is the server running/ what are you going to use on the new server?

I agree it would take a ton to get Brees, but...... With him as QB we go to a super bowl favorite, Would you trade the chance to win a SB knowing you are going to suffer for it years later.
Personally I would.......Because I believe that this defense will be long gone before we can draft/or groom a QB. I think we have 3 maybe 4 year window defensively .

What I find funny is all the people saying it will never happen, I have news for all of you, anyone is available for the right price. Now with that being said what's the price, we will most likely never know.
What I want to hear this off season is Doug W calling around to find the QB he believes can put us over the top. If he does that and can't meet the price than that a different matter but at least go out and explore some options
I think the most likely out come could be Cutler, hey if Romo can turn his career around Cutler could too, if the guy could just control the turnovers there is no denying he has the talent (but you still have to fix the train wreak o-line).

NO draft choice is going to get you where you need to be next year, or even the year after (That's assuming you could somehow get a top prospect, this year) Even if (big IF) Manual develops it's going to take a couple years for him as well, you need an established QB that knows how to win. Let face it with this defense we should be in a win now mode.
I don't know if they would let him go or not, but pretty much any player is available for the right price.....all I'm saying is what's the price?
If we could acquire Brees we would be right in the discussion as SB Favorites.

I really can't believe we end up with the two worst guards in football after we all screamed all last year and off season the obvious need to upgrade the OL. I'm not sure it is possible for one team to have the two worst OGs in the NFL, plus their backups who are by definition worse yet. WTF?

No one needs journalists And it's that self-righteous Attitude that hurts the media. The issue is, what other walk of life do people have the ability to provide no proof whatsoever of their work? I just turned in a doctoral preliminary exam with 70+ citations because I don't have the luxury of saying "I heard from any anonymous source...." that garbage doesn't fly.
We don't need the media, it's an accepted part of our lives and we give it the same level of respect as politicians.
