    As I said it was off the cuff. I just tend to recall they always skated on the line of legal and illegal - Stickum is an example.

    This is TWICE they have been caught, Doesn't matter if Bob the ball boy physcally is the one who deflated the balls, he was told to do it that much you can be sure. When a pattern emerges, it's not a mistake anymore.

     

    (Sure would be nice if Bob the ball boy, blew the whistle though.)

    You build a stadium downtown and tailgating comes to an end quickly, there is no tailgating in parking ramps.

     

    There simply is not enough room for the kind of parking that the Ralph has anywhere downtown. take the size of the parking at the raplh and try to fit it anywhere downtown. You would have to go to NF, or towards Rochester. Can you imagine trying to get to a Stadium in NF, going over those bridges....no thanks. Somewhere east of the city makes the most sense or keep in in OP.

    Rex's defense is predicated on disguised blitzes. In order to run that scheme effectively, they need a extremely talented secondar. Rex was successful when Revis played along with Cromartie. Do the Bills have equivalent backfield to execute his schemes successfully. Gilmore and Leodis are OK cornerbacks, nothing remotely close to Revis and Cromartie. Pettine had a good defense here because he had Byrd in Center Field and Kiko at the MLB position. In spite of that it was the 28th worst running game.

     

    Schwartz fixed the run-stopping and played some solid defense. How can Rex coach this team to its strength. I almost feel he might try to fit a square peg into a round hole.

     

     

    Come on Man....The Jets had NO DB's last year and they finished 6th in defense.....

     

    I get the feeling your trying to fit a square topic into a round hole.... give it up, Seriously... worry about the Offensive side of the ball if you want too, not the D.

    He isn't Bill Parcells.

     

    He has been boasting and brash for his whole career, and the Jets got progressively worse under him.

     

    I am hopeful, but not because of his press conference demeanor.

    I think you can see by what was said in the press conf, Rex said something to the effect "Keep drafting the player you've been drafting". A coach can improve players but in the end it all comes down to talent, With that being said we need to improve the talent in a couple area's and we should be fine.

     

    First and for most is O-line, fix that and even EJ in Year 3 has a chance.

    Where does the concept that Payton or anyone would "teach" a guy riding the pine anything unless he is a player /coach? 19 million for a tutor is a tad pricey, beaides he would never come to Buffalo.

     

    Montana and Young were never on friendly terms much less Joe teaching Young anything.

    Its called watching him prepare, watching him change plays, asking what he saw to make him change the play, if you think EJ is better than Manning now I've said enough already

    What's the other news leroi ? You hearing any whispers about a Bradford/Cutler type ? What were some of these other moves ?

     

     

    If Leroi is someone in the know (and it appears so) then they won't be able to answer that question (Because of NFL Rules). But it sounds like there is some exciting potential moves coming.
