That team rocks, especially your starters!

With Gronk out, how good a game do you think M. Bennett will have?
I have Kelce, so I am not playing him, but am trying to trade him to someone with Gronk who cannot pick up another TE since FAs are locked after the week 1 games are over.
-
My biggest question is Kyle Williams. If Kyle is back to his old form (and can stay healthy) our defense may be very good. If Kyle appears to be in decline, the Bills will struggle, especially while Dareus is out.
I want to see if the defense is in synch and fluidly playing Ryan's scheme. I saw signs this preseason, but it is hard to say with all of the absences. Last year's sack total (21) was pitiful for the talent on the team.

Tyrod to Woods - 6 yd TD pass @ the pylon (right side)
Hey, heads-up: I predicted a 6 yard pass from Tyrod to Woods earlier in this thread.
-
Pass from Taylor to Woods for 6 yards

Tony Moeaki?
Deja vu?
-
Good post. It looks like we are going to see a lot of our offensive snaps with someone unproven on the field.
Tyrod
O-Line
Clay
McCoy
Watkins
Woods
Goodwin
This looks to be the best grouping to me, with Bush or Dray added in place of Goodwin based on situation.

My bold prediction: Gronk gets cut too.
-
Kim is cheap.

When's Cut-down Day? I got the last one wrong.
Tomorrow. By 4 pm Eastern, I believe.
Joe B has published his take on the 53 man roster. My assessment of his take is that he called it pretty well.
What say you, TBD'ians?
<snip> I also think they'll be looking hard through the scrap bin for an upgrade at OT and TE, but the Bills have surprised me before by NOT doing this. <snip>
Jace Amaro?

I'd think they would keep Albright (or Lattimore?) and cut O'Leary and/or Gronkowski.

Not sure how catching 2 TDs (the first one slapped out of his hands after at least 3 steps) counts as "outmatched" - I was no fan of Little, but he did all you could expect of him yesterday.
I think the no TD call was the right one. Certainly it was consistent with how they have been calling them. (Though I think control + 2 feet should equal a TD, regardless of what happens after.) I liked them going back to Little right after that and that it worked the next time.
I just looked up the play-by-play and you are right, it isn't as bad as I remembered. I thought there were more incompletions to him, and overall I am not impressed with his awareness / control / concentration / hands. Last night was a probably a positive for his standings; he can't help that he wasn't in with the ones. At his skill level though, I would rather keep a developing WR or specialist over him unless it looks like he is finding new life.
-
I thought Albright really helped himself, looking like one of the best player on the field when he played. He looks like a great developmental backup.
For the first time in a long time I am very happy with our QBs. EJ is definitely maturing, and seems to have lost his panic. Cardale could be really good with a couple years coaching and experience.
I did not think Little really helped himself. He should be able to run with the #1s and just looks outmatched and inconsistent at that level. And I don't think it is likely he continues to develop (much). He is on the bubble for me as I look for last cuts to draw up a roster of 53.
Carpenter can boom kick-offs. I think the issue is the wear on his leg and his ability to stay solid for the long haul so he can do both later in the season.
Also, Douzable did not look very good to me, ending up on the ground a lot.
-
I am seeing the same thing. He will be flying around the field in no time:
-
He's handed a brown bag by an assistant. That bag has a secret compartment where the assistant placed an envelope with the replica drawings.
Still very well done, I thought.
You're right. I was thinking it was sitting there next to the table.
-
I see how he does first part - reading the judges as we talks to see what drawing belongs to each of them but how does he get the drawings in the bottle unless the judges are his assistants which sort of ruins it?
I agree, the first part is guessing and reading the celebrities. For instance he pretty clearly was giving the shirt to Simon before he saw that there wasn't enough reaction.
For the second part, I thought it through and decided he knew he was going to write "No," and must have used that time, his only time holding the pen, to draw the other pictures which he slipped into the bag at the end. The only problem is it sure looks like drew the word No, and he didn't keep anything in his hands to later slip into the bag.
Evaluation: true magic!

I see your point. I think Dany's struggles are in learning how to rule; she wants instant accountability, but doesn't have the experience necessary to fully consider the consequences -- that's where Jorah's and Tyrion's counsel have been invaluable. As she gains that experience we might see a "more evil" side of her emerge.
I agree, it wouldn't be in keeping with the show's overall tenor to finish with a "happy" ending...
I think this is a big role for Barristan the Bold in the books, and a major influence on Dany. I understand she might not fully trust Tyrion, but when Barristan agrees, his council has that much more weight.

Have you guys seen this great interactive GOT map?
You can choose characters and how far through the show or books you are, and it will show you their travels on the map. It looks like they added Season 6 in the last few days.

Sansa.
I just don't see it. They grew up as (half) siblings and John is now recognized as having Stark blood, albeit as a bastard. Sure the Targaryens married within their family, but that seems to be contemptible across Westeros, and wouldn't strengthen their claim/hold on the throne. Thinking along those lines, if he did go that direction, Arya is a better fit, but as problematic and unattractive a prospect.
Marrying a surviving Tyrell, or another woman from a strong house makes the most sense. I just can't think of any characters we have seen (beyond say Brienne) that might be options. Maybe the answer is Dany after all....
Sansa and Podrick seem like a great match. She deserves a good husband!
-
I believe Dany has loyalty to her family, and that is her main motivation. She wants to rule because her family did, and lost so much due to the usurpers. She is torn, because her nature is to protect her family. But she feels that kinship with her people, especially her close advisors (Grey Worm, Messande etc.), and has a hard time losing anyone to the tasks she needs to ask of them to retain and grow her rule.
I think Dany would be greatly relieved to learn she isn't the last Targaryen, especially since she is barren. This last point is a reason John and Dany will not get together in the end.
So who is a good match for John to carry on the Targaryen legacy, regardless of his last name?
My guess is the show ends with a baby being born, and a bit of green springing forth from the snow. . . .

I didn't watch OJ enough (born in 1969)
I decided I would try a Top 10, but it was too hard. Tomorrow I know I will reflect on my list and kick myself for forgetting someone that brought me years of enjoyment.
Honorable mention: Jason Peters. I watched his ascent closely, and appreciated every minute. Watching him on special teams early in his career was a real treat. I remember watching an offseason video of him working one on one against Schoebel where I knew he was the real thing and was going to make it big. Unfortunately what came later pulled him off of my list. His exit really tainted my view of him

So I guess Tyrion, Cersie, Jamie, Daenerys and Jon all survive Season 6 since the actors that portray them signed new deals for season's 7 & 8.
All were pretty much givens except for Cersie whom I thought might bite it. With that type of pay, $500k per episode, I can see being really upset if you picked up a script and saw you were killed before the series finally.

OMG - they didn't mention an contract extension for Ghost. Noooooo!
