great question considering the Browns are being investigated by the NFL for listing Haden as probable and then shelving him. So I would say Goodwin being inactive is highly unlikely. They also need Gragg.
He could be a healthy scratch. That has nothing to do with the injury report.

QB controversy in Indi??

As much as losing hurts, losing to the NFC is least detrimental.
Right. An insightful poster on here (I can't remember his name; something like Crayon Box?) posted an analysis a couple years ago showing how it actually helps the Bills get in the playoffs to lose to NFC opponents.

Bills 22
Titans 20

Trust is the key. Trust the process and it will take care of its self.
What is Karlos trying to tell us? I am concerned about his health, but I also was planning to start him this week on my fantasy team.
I think that means he isn't rushing back.

In my opinion, the defense is trying to be too clever. Our front 4 can beat the opponent if they just line up and blast at the snap. This year, on a very high percentage of snaps it looks like the defense isn't completely set, like they are disguising what they are doing at the expense of being ready to explode at the snap.

Carpenter has missed a total of two FGs this season, one of which was 54 yards in a blowout win (against the Dolphins).
He is a bit hurt, and has a young baby in the house. The Bills needs to support him and stick by him, unless the wheels completely come off. I think he will be fine in the long run.

So, it sounds like Arian Foster is playing and Lynch might actually sit out. Who do you think will post better numbers this week, Foster, or Thomas Rawls? I could see either of them getting just a partial workload....
-
Keenan Allen is just one of those guys who I could never justify sitting. He is tearing it up this year.
I know. all the FF advice I have seen says to play him. I just feel like Joe Haden is going to shut him down. Haden was hurt and the Browns gave up a ton of yards in last week's game. He sounds healthy and determined going into this week's game against the Chargers where Allen is the clear #1 WR.
And it looks like 3 of the Chargers' starting O-line will be out....

Pass to Woods across the middle for 7 yards

I'm starting Harvin this week over Jeremy Maclin. He will continue to be targeted a lot...especially with SW on the mend. If given the choice of the two to drop I would say John Brown although their '15 stats are almost identical.
I am on the fence. I have a number of midling WRs:
Maclin
Harvin
Pierre Garcon
Keenan Allen
Golden Tate
I am starting Clay at TE, K Williams, and Bills defense, so that is keeping me from starting Harvin.
Right now I am leaning toward starting Maclin and Garcon. The league is .5 PPR. Everyone has Keenan Allen ranked higher, but I just don't see him putting up good numbers against Joe Haden this week.

yeah, Bell was the only sure pick, williams is also a pretty sure pick in my head...my dilemma is between murray and gordon....leaning towards murray
I am playing Murray.
The aggregate ranking site I consult has him listed as the #6 RB this week against a weak Bears team.
-
Charles Clay or Eric Ebron?
I would choose Clay. Especially with Sammy questionable, he should be a focus.
RB's pick 3
Karlos
Leveon Bell
Melvin Gordon
Latavius Murray
Karlos, Bell, Murray
I would have said the same. I assume you played Bell?

Do I get two picks if I'm still alive?
In a survivor league, I'm not sure that helps you. . . .
-
Pick made.
Thanks for the heads up. I is nice to be alive again.

I love these posts. Thank you so much for taking the time!

I think it makes more sense that you cannot fumble forward. So a fumble is always spotted where the last team to control it had possession, at best.
Fumble at the 3 yard line into the end zone --> spot at the 3
Fumble at the 3 yard line out of bounds at the 5 --> spot at the 5
Fumble at the 3 yard line and defense recovers in the end zone --> spot at the 20 (touchback)

Today the NFL filed its notice of appeal. Once the Second Circuit recieves the full record in the case, the NFL has 14 days to request a date for filing its initial brief -- up to 91days. After the NFL files its initial brief, the NFLPA requests the date for its reply brief, again up to 91 days. Then the NFL has 14 days to file a reply brief. Once the case is fully briefed, the Second Circuit will schedule it for oral argument. It could easily take a few months before the argument is heard (I looked and the calendar is already full through early November). After oral argument, the judges will probably take a few months to conference and prepare their decison(s). Then either party could seek rehearing.
TMI? Bottom line: there will almost certainly be a new Super Bowl champ before there is a final decision from the Second Circuit.
Thanks for those details!

And the Second Circuit Court of Appeals could always reverse Judge Berman and reinstate Brady's suspension.
I sure as hell hope so.
-
So the entire "scandal" ended up amounting to nothing. Pats just keep doing whatever they want with no consequences.
Do be fair, they did pay a large fine and lose a first round draft pick.
Brady did not get suspended or fined. I am shocked McNally was allowed to be hired again.

Taylor incomplete short pass down the middle to Robert Woods ~6 yards downfield.
14 first downs

I don't like the guy, but love the player. He has been huge upgrade for us. I would love to see them tack on another 2 years to his contract.

That was a very nice article.
I am glad he indicated what happened with Whaley. In my mind, that was him saying "water under the bridge" and showing he understood how the business side worked. It also highlights Fred's determination. Part of me thinks he could have willed himself to play through a hamstring injury and make the team, if that is what it would have taken.
