  1. In English, please? That doesn't say anything to me about female owners, while it says more to me about cheap idiots. Explain St. Louis winning a championship. Or did they win with a smart male GM despite the shortcomings of the owner? Your generalization sucks.
  2. They will have to hurry up. Browns are already looking at Crennell.
  3. Isn't Holmgren still under contract?
  4. I think she gave the job to her husband right away. Bad, stupid and sexist statement, regardless. Lord knows all women should be home vacuuming and popping out kids. [/sarcasm]
  5. Leinart would be one smart kid to not even entertain the idea of playing for that team. Too bad SF might have the #1 pick in '06 as well.
  6. Particularly when you're talking about today's mainstream quote-unquote music industry.
  7. When I see Hilary Duff I think of the mute button.
  8. You saw who posted that, right?
  9. I am glad he wants to be here, but he is pretty culpable himself with more than a few big drops. Elite WRs catch some of these balls, even if the QB is a little off the mark.
  10. I was just looking at Kiper's draft board. After watching The Orange run the ball this year, I wouldn't mind this guy: Adam Terry, OT, Syracuse (6-7½, 310) Last game: Syracuse rushed for 309 yards in a 43-17 win at Boston College One of the most outstanding athletes at the tackle position in college football. Terry runs a 5.15 in the 40 and is a smart fifth-year senior with 33 career starts under his belt. He is a bit of a finesse player but will continue to develop and become a solid all-around tackle, and his experience will get him some first-round looks. I wonder what it would take to get him...
  11. Who's #1 in this upcoming draft? I haven't been watching enough college to see all these guys.
  12. Yeah, McNally has no idea what he's doing. Why don't you give me your phone number and I'll pass it on to him.
  13. Hey, whatever does it for you.
  14. It would be nice to see the bands. All that work and no national recognition sucks. And just so the network can do another marketing tie-in with a sh------- "artist."
  15. And to my mind, if Palmer hadn't gotten hurt, those guys make the playoffs.
  16. Oh, yes, and with regard to the opening question, since when did celebrity become equatable with talent? I cringe more at the notion of Miss Simpson being called a recording "artist."
  17. I think the thing about Fletcher is he has great production but doesn't get a lot of sacks or INTs, and we aren't inundated with his name by the media. He gets zero attention because there are several other good MLBs in the league with more notoriety.
  18. She can sing fairly well. She is no Aretha Franklin or anything. And she does have Tom Brady's chin. Take it from a dude who has been there. My, how our standards have dropped.
  19. Did you hear her, dude? Her mic was really on. No way she would sound that bad if they doctored up her track. Ashlee Simpson is truly terrible, though. A nice touch was the "anarchy symbol" on the big floating stage. Hilarious. She does come from a brilliant family, though. Here is a good personal story about her sister. I worked on a session with her, and in the studio I used to work at there are doors on each side: one to a closet and one to the live room. Jessica walked into the closet five times.
  20. I don't know about that. By all accounts, the Jacksonville offense were not "Big Boys." We sure as hell couldn't stop them though, and that drive didn't even include any running by Fred Taylor, if I remember correctly. I go back and forth on whether losing Gray would be the worst thing in the world. We've seen improvement, but we also see critical lapses. And our coverage, especially in nickel situations, has not always been stellar considering we have a former DB at the helm. Maybe I am not giving Gray enough credit, but I wouldn't mind seeing Krumrie get the job if Gray leaves. What better way to say out loud that we are going to have a tough defense?
  21. I think as long as they don't get a shot at one another, there is debate. The B is BCS continues to stand for bull sh--.
  22. I agree. I believe he'll be recruited to be one.
  23. I love a good defense, and I love our players, but the playoffs were there for the taking if this defense had played better. They didn't deserve it. If they did, they clearly would not have let 3rd and 4th stringers run all over them.
  24. Does that mean that Terrence is going to cut off Milloy's hand with a light saber?
  25. Down with the Pats. I could take the Jets, though in the city the bandwagon jumping and media circus would be unbearable. The rest of the AFC contenders are fine, but I think I am going for the Colts with respect for Peyton and the 'Cuse connection including Harrison. Of the NFC playoff teams, I don't mind any of them except for St. Louis and the Vikes (a team I used to like pre-Randy Moss). Martz is a douche.
